VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Wings of Silicon [Ch. 12] [SinAppeal]

Too much self insert ruined the game. So many references to other porn game on this site as a result suspension of disbelief is totally thrown out the window, resulting in the creeping realization that you are just browsing through the porn renders made up by some guy, killing all your lust. You will close the game and go do something useful instead.

I really like the models of Mia and the pizza girl.

But there is not much else to like there. The story feels boring. I mean, do I really need to focus so much on the messy, dirty apartment and boring life of the protagonist?

And what's that endless self-advertisement? Wow, you are a game developer, congrats guy! So a VN can be telling about your life, alright. And I never drove a car in my life. Should I speak on and on about that? Yeah, I get it, you want more patrons, and cross promotion with other devs... Thanks, no, I'll pass. I empathize, but should I dedicate a VN to the sorry facts of my life, like that I almost cannot move and I feel great pain every day, for dozens of years now?

So, to conclude:

- several cute renders, of good quality.

Hence those 3 stars I give. Nothing else for me there (yet).

Outside of some grammatical errors, it's a nice and humorous tongue-in-cheek game depicting the life of a game programmer, specifically by your dev truly. Opening sequence was a little long but a pleasant surprise that put a smile on my face. Renders are nice, even if the aunt's cheekbones stick out so much

Thing is though that it's venturing a bit too far in the cheek (pun maybe?) for comfort. Would prefer a more detached style in that sense

Good renderer, story pretty interesting.
I have removed one star due to some bug in text (like the name of Mia who don't change when the MC speak to her (if we have changed her name he continue to call her "Mia").
