Heyooo,
I'm a 2D artist and story-writer currently developing a porn-game visual novel, but I'm looking for others to join me on bringing this project to life.
My developer alias is Obsidian Rose // RedRose33.
The game will be a Winx Club parody; a matured up trainer/corruption setting of it in form of dark fantasy, branching choices and sickass story. Of course with cartoony image and hand drawn art.
And yes, it's gonna be engined on Renpy
and in any case btw, nice to meet you!
I've worked on this for 1,5 year, spent on improving my artstyle, writing story stuff and and somewhat code-learning.
I have a goal for the launch (ver.0.01) to be out by the end of 2025, but we'll see how it goes since it still is a big job ahead.
What I seek:
A 2D artist
I'm hope to find someone who are passionate about drawingtits, curves and sex (or well, yes that too, but), stylized art and character design and who would enjoy working on an indie game like this for years ahead, since this game will be a long journey.
Drawing every image by myself is a too slow progress, so that's why I'll need help with the artwork while I can work on the writing as well.
I've found my style for the game to have, so I hope to find an artist who can take after my style and make the game's images have consistent and matching art. If you're even better than me then there's no fault in that! I have in any case attached some of the game's artwork below so the style can be presented for you to know what style to take after. Not many CG's have been completed by now yet, and the second image attached only has lineart so far.
I personally take after the artstyle of Akabur, Muplur, Flexible Media and Somka108/LazyTarts.
An animator
For the game to have animations isn't something I expect it to have from the beginning due to how expensive I've told that animators charge even for simple sex-movements. The hope is for it to still be in the game eventually though, so I'd happily stay in touch with animators to come to an agreement. How many animated scenes for each update/release, how they'd look etc.
Code
You can tell by now that I'm stronger at the creative aspects of this than the technical, so a coder is also needed, yes, but a friend of mine has already volunteered to code for this game. Still, if he ever would get too busy or unavailable, it would be convenient to have someone to rely on for the task. Renpy requires the language of Python.
Lastly; payment and such
This is a paid opportunity, but I'm also open to more collaborative partnerships if we're creatively aligned.
NOTE: I'm currently not BIG on money, at least not enough to pay much for each image as ongoing commissioning (RE: artists).
An ideal solution is for the artist to receive a certain % of the monthly income on all sites the game will make incomes at, which so far will be Patreon and Subscribestar. It will depend on how much artwork that is done, but I'm up for what we can figure out.
