I am making available some mods that I own. For the curious. I am not 100% sure if they work. But the latest version of the game does not throw errors or create any problems. So that my guess is that they work. Unzip the file and put the entire contents into the main game directory. The path where the files should be is game/mod. That is, it should be x:\WTS-1.45.1-pc\game\mod. It is important not to replace or move the "MyMod" mod already present there. It should also not ask whether to swap files for a newer version. If it asks it means that the files are not uploaded to that directory.

Then go to the mod directory in the main menu and select all files. As in the picture:
Alright, I tested those mods on a fresh download and if anyone is interested the following mods will give you an error:
Hannibal_Clothes
LunaBunny
PlugsMod
Slutats
Tied_Tops
chosen_one
goombah_mods
mm_clothes

The game will give you an error that you can ignore for in the main menu, but it'll crash on load up or when you try to change clothes.

Ok thanks for the information. So they don't work after all. Probably due to the newer engine version. In version -1.44.3 it worked :C
Thanks to your suggestion, I slipped in what wasn't working and left only the mods that work:

OK so should I download the original extras from the main page here as well? Do those still work?

EDIT: Just tried and nope.

So I guess I'll just wait a while until one of you people who know what they're doing make everything compatible again. :)

FWIW, Those mods load in the main menu without error but the assets aren't present in-game

Hmm. the only things left are random events and clothes for characters in the shop. I'll have to see for myself. An error should pop up if it doesn't work. And a picture of that X in the shop. I'll see on a clean save game. Because on older saves the game is incompatible.

Same here, the mod seems fine in the main menu but does not work in-game. All pieces of clothing return the following error:

I've recently created documentation and a wiki for the project, aimed at helping modders. While it's not fully finished, it should provide a solid starting point for anyone interested in trying their hand at modding the game. If you have any suggestions or questions, feel free to reach out to me on Discord.

Can you incorporate the mods into your game as extra options?

It's really cool to see the mods come to life and the enthusiasm of the community for enhancing the gameplay experience in their own way. However, we also want to make sure we don't impose limitations on the creative freedom of modders. Just to provide some context, we're already hosting player mods on our Discord server within specific channels, which already has limitations in terms of content submissions we can accept.

While bundling mods with the base game might sound tempting, it does involve a few considerations. We'd need to ensure proper licensing, make sure artwork has the right permissions for use, and ensure that everything aligns with relevant laws and terms of the services we're using – especially given the nature of the game. Additionally, there's the matter of quality assurance, which is something modders typically don't have to tackle.

I've created thorough documentation on integrating modder creations. This way, modders can find the necessary information independently, without relying solely on us for direct help. Plus, they can avoid potential limitations on their mods when sharing them publicly.

I hope this clarifies the situation a bit. Thanks again for your input, and feel free to reach out if you have any more thoughts or questions.

Yes, I understand, but as someone who has very little knowledge of programming, the easier I can install mods, the happier I am. :)

That's why I really appreciated it when many of the mods were incorporated here so all I had to do was click on them to install them.

I was hoping you could do that, but I certainly understand your reasoning for not. Here's hoping the original modder updates everything (or else someone else who knows what they're doing takes it over).

Thanks again.
