5 months is a healthy development time. speeding up the production usually just makes smaller content releases all to satisfy some arbitrary and usually self imposed deadline. Or in many cases it becomes less about the game completion and more about stretching out the game to keep the subscriber dollars incoming. Pick your poison

For those who want to cheat potions with console enabled, execute "potions" (variable with potions definition) to see the id of the potion you want and then execute "trainer_potion_{id} = {amount}"

The example I used: "trainer_potion_04 = 99", to get 99 Energia potions and basically ignore Exhaustion

Well, the way I see it - people who subscribe on boosty are the ones financing the development of the game, it would be literally impossible without them.

I'm working on the game fulltime now, but at my own pace. It's completely fine if somebody doesn't have the funds to help, or, perhaps just doesn't want to and only wants free stuff. As the time from the last release goes on, people do unsubscribe, many are subscribing only when the new release is ready, that's just how it goes.

I understand that it would be great to have a release every month or just as quickly as possible. That's not how I do things though. I like experimenting, trying new stuff, polishing the content that's already there. Not to mention that I'm also learning as I go, which makes the process not as efficient.

However, it's still great to see that people actually do care, they are paying attention and waiting for a new release, leaving comments and asking questions. As far as I'm concerned, apathy is much worse than any criticism.

Omg bro, w8 what?
It's too much the second screen o_O
Since the first preview you fix "too wavy back" and face emotions was fixed too, for now its more realistic. The first screen is really good but second... I dont know how to describe this is creepy and terrifying and the same moment, im pretty scared of her 0_0

Upd about the first screen - im not sure about her neck length.

I know you've heard this. but the current lowest tier is $1.76 us and is just the privilege of giving support, yet on paper doesn't even provide weekly development updates or a look at any art. vs the $9.10 us tier which is pricey when only paying for updates and art, since you dont release on faster schedule that bonus isnt as valuable when this site exists . If you reevaluated your tier pricing and whats in the tier you may see more $upport.

Well, I'm curious then. What do *you* think a good schedule would be then? Krill appears to be solo on the project, has work and life outside of this game. And those 2 updates in a year and a half are, when you look at it from just the player's perspective, HUGE. Massive changes in the UI, reworking the entire spell puzzle system, not to mention the animations and options for dress up. Including a whole back end for passive stat gain that has been promised to be more involved and used in future updates, meaning pre-emptive bug fixes. Not to mention being active and showcasing progress on the crowdfunding sites as well as here. And it's literally been 5 months since the last update, and they've repeatedly told us what they're working on.

If you think it's a scam, then just quit wasting your time and ignore the thread! If you think excuses like, oh, mental health, physical disabilities, family, jobs, and the like are unacceptable, then put your money where your mouth is and make a game yourself. And while those specific examples aren't in this thread, they are common in other threads where people like you think anything over two weeks is an unacceptable delay in the next version of a game you aren't even paying for.
Considering he's already announced he's working full time on it, 5 months seems rather long for an update unless it's absolutely massive. I would expect updates would be a various time as small updates would be generated mostly with bigger ones sprinkled in to give the community time to report the bugs back or game features that looked good at first but aren't fun or don't work. Don't get me wrong, I'd like the game to be done as much as anyone else, but I just don't see the good faith that others developers have.

Banished was completed in under 3 years by a solo developer and while I wouldn't expect the same for all solo developers, it's not unheard of. Besides, he's never given ANY update for when the next update will come out that I have seen. It's been 5 months. Are you close, is it maybe weeks away, are we still months away from the next update? Crickets.

I'm not sure what disability etc has anything to do with the game development, that's between the supporters and them. I would say that being up front with the thread itself could including ETAs of the next update would help bring in more possible supporters. I'm not sure why you're going hard for criticism anyway. It seems from some of the posts that others have the same issue with the slow updates that there will be no game. Are you an alt of the developer or something?

Pretty sure that's the only way to think as a dev and stay sane! People who are waiting for their update like christmas and complaining about your timeline, they are for sure involved.

Still the dev time is one of the different points that make a good game a game of legends. If you take 3 years pretty sure you can kiss goodbye your hype on this. Experiment or not people wait months for this game... mostly in silence!!!! Not here btw but the majority will wait without telling.
