Overview:
"Withered Flower" is a nonlinear visual novel set in 1980s America. You play as a detective trying to solve a series of mysterious murders while fighting to stay alive.
Your decisions carry weight, and any mistake could be fatal.
The protagonist is not a superhero but an ordinary person with secrets and past mistakes whose consequences continue to haunt them.

That kind of buttplug didn't exist in the 1980s. Also, nipple studs and clit piercings were incredibly rare if not non-existing.

smartphones and flat screens in the 80's i was going to try this game but the author is clearly incapable of even sticking true to the basic premise so no thanks.

wonder if any good I hated when the only good Detective game that came out was than dropped by the developer :( It was basically just called Detective but you actually had to hunt and find clues, interrogate people, and figure out the case. Wonder if this has any real detective play in it.

Metallic piercings have gone into and out of fashion many many times, there where plenty on public display in the 80's punk circles, alongside things like Mohawks, and much wider appeal in those just out of display, like nipples (which where very popular also in 14th century, 1890 (read the Vouge article about it.. because such fashion mags are also that old). Nose and tongue piercings where described disparagingly by older authors as young people marking themselves like whores in London before white people found the USA.. a story set 11-19years after Woodstock and long post Vietnam war isn't struggling to feature them.

Unlike say, the color photos on cell phones, modern style computers with flat-screens ect ect.

Good concept, like a basic instinct copy.
Yes, it's not exactly the 80s, but it's finished, that says a lot. It's rough around the edges.

Did anyone actually finish it? I pretty much just take the money and run.

It honours the old russian tradition of blindsiding you and not telling you what you're doing at all. What's with the ending, "click, click" this is your last chance (to do what exactly?) "click" game over, "what"?

UI is shit. Can't hide the damn text box so I could not even see the sister in her bikini. This is bull shit for an adult game. The UI is slow.. text is slow. The phone is horrible you can't click on the boob picture and zoom it in. The UI is total shit turning me off the game when it could have been so good.

1. Can't hide text
2. Girls are in the fucking shaded dark when text window is showing so you can't actually see them only a silhouette
3. Text is fucking slow
4. No history/roll back option
5. Did not see any save or load option
6. Sex scenes are small almost like a flash animation than a real Sex Animation

Why fucking darken the girls when the text window shows? This is utterly retarded. No wonder this game rates so badly all the basic features for an adult game is not here at all.
