Ren'Py - World of Secrets [v0.6.1] [RWA Studios]

Come on, I don't want to be boring, but...
The game says that Netorare will be optional.
It's a shame that it already has this kind of content, but that's okay, some people like it.

However, right from the start, the game offers two possibilities.
This makes you imagine that soon, despite being optional, it will choose to have massive content of this kind.
So the game is not to my taste.
The game even has promising kinetics, but nothing that surprises either, but it's not like a static game, but a thousand times a static game, than a game that says that ntr will be optional, but the focus seems that way.

And even if, in a future update, they put in the option to disable it completely.
I know that's what the focus is on.
So disappointing.

The game wasn't made for me, but my opinion is still mine.

Game with excellent renders and animations. I don't know why so many people complained about sandbox system in this game, but for me it was good. It took me from 2 to 3 hours to complete the game without reading any hints in forum. Unfortunately author decided to temporaly remove this game mode as lots of players complained about it. The only significant flaw in this game in my opinion was the main character looking way too feminine, which is no longer the case as the author remade all the characters. Another small flaw in the sanbox version of the game was mismatch of the map design with the the game renderings.
Overall I think its really quality product that definitely doesn't deservers such a low rating (~2.5) it used to have

Realy well done Game, Promosing Story, Promosing Plot, Fantastic Characters,
The game occurs in a classic setting of a university/family home, and does an excellent job with it. Personally for now the moments with the "family" that MC lives with are better than the University Moments (which will probably be more explored).
All the Characters seem interesting so far, Hot MILFS & Teachers; I Like the design of some Students (seem promising)

The Dev seems that is going to add a lot of features a I think a Hub is a must (seeing the character's profiles is an excellent feature that most games with a lot of characters should 100% have)

Hope the Dev doesn't Burn himself thin, because he seems to want to do a lot of stuff. Dont know if doing a full sandbox is a good decision because it takes a lot of time and effort, and doesn't advance much of the story.

Cant wait for more will follow this series very closely ,

This is my first time playing this game so I dont know about the old sandbox game and about the old models people complaint so much, but the current game is 4/5 or 5/5 for sure.

Definitely not 2,5/5.

World of secrets v0.6

Man this one surely getting lot of remakes. First of all this one was remake of silent house. I enjoyed silent house way better than this. It's Mc was feminine but there's choices to act like dominant. When world of secrets firstly released it's totally terrible with the sandbox. No idea how to progress the game. Now this one got revamped again. Now you can play it VN mode. Sadly models were changed this one's models are similar to Dev's other game Rock the Rim( but that one's models are hotter than this one)
Landlady and maid characters previous models are more hotter than this though. I'm glad now it's playable but old models are better.

+ Good renders
+ VN mode adde now you can easily play this

Bad points

- usual grammatical mistakes putting 'she' instead 'he' kinda things
- Models were more hotter before revamp ( now it's playable though)

After Silenth House, rework are bad... I made a sandbox, ruined the highlight of which the game shone. It's not an interesting project at the moment... Maybe someday that will change and I'll be able to play it, but not now.

This has to be one of the worst game I have ever played, everything is fucking awful, except for the visuals I guess, but even those have some mindblowing decisions like making the mc look like a transitioning shemale. Bad story, bad characters, boring dialogs, awful story. just garbage from start to finish.

Interesting game, although there are some minor issues, I like this modeling and look forward to the development of the plot. I hope the male lead is more masculine. I don't want to operate a female character, so when is the next update?

Renders are great but the game itself sucks. Very buggy. Route guide in the phone is very unhelpful. The game concept has been revised and revamped too many times. First was Silent House. Second was turning it into a Sandbox instead of a Visual Novel. Third - some options for the storyline in Silent House are taken out (yes, the option for the MC to be corrupted into a female is officially off the table - dev confirmed it.) And now the characters appearances are being updated for "a better gaming experience."

Lastly, the game development is more mechanics based than story based. Worked for a whole month just give us the option to click on a remote and watch different channels on the TV. Seriously??

At the pace that it's going, the game will either be halfway done after 10 years or completely abandoned and repackaged into something else.

The VN had a future; This barely has a tomorrow if it keeps up.

Well, version 0.6 rating. I was expecting this one but the remake is just in the wrong direction.

The models of Both Monica and Anne is way worst than before and Clara (mostly) but also Barbara is a significantly worst version than the previous ones. The new model set the dev is using is in my view way worst than the previous and the kind of ducky faces just is not for me

On the upside, this game has now a VN kind of mode avoiding all the weird sandbox elements.

Wish the best of lucks to the dev and hopefully he will go back to the old models so we can all enjoy this again

V.04 review

The cg's are awesome but that is it. The theme and the MC is kind of weird but I will skip this for now.

The game is completely unplayable, in 90% of the occasion you don't know what to do next and were to go. You end up visiting the same people over and over again and watch the same dialogues

There is a map without location names so you have to click on every object to see what is what

The few scenes are very small, in normal reading every scene is around 1-2 minutes max

Needs an in game quest guide asap

The girls model are good but the rest is just shit. if you want people to play a game you need to give some clue on what to do. i had to search the hole map just to see what i can tap on the map to see what I could tap a buliding . i deleted this game after playing it.

Strange how this game has so low rating. It deserves better. Graphics are very good, story is slow but interesting and has a point. Characters are also interesting and looks hot,maybe a bit to much hot for school teachers byt again i can dea with that. Keep doing it.

I would only recommend improving the guidance in the game and would perfect to have rollback..
I'll be following this game closer, can't wait for the next major update.

The game is absolutely gorgeous with incredibly realistic visuals, excellent lighting, gorgeous models and exceptional composition. By far the visuals are the game's strongest suits and stands toe-to-toe with the best in the genre. I agree with the common criticism that the MC looks oddly feminine, but honestly that just comes down to personal taste. If you desperately need to self insert to a masc avatar, this game will not work for you. Personally I don't mind at all since I see it as bonus eye candy for me.

Second and most importantly, the writing is well done and characters are believable. Not much is happening from a central plot perspective but the characterization more than makes up for it. Characters feel just as real as their excellent full realized renders, and I'm looking forward to delving deeper into their various backstories of this interesting cast.

Now onto the big issues that really hold the game back. Sandbox games often have basic game logic problems where your trying to unravel what the developer wants you to click on to progress instead of what naturally makes sense. Add a very unhelpful world map that barely seems to the highlight places of interest and it can be quite annoying trying to figure out what to do next. Does it break game progression (like some other poorly made sandboxes)? No, not really. Its frustrating but serviceable. I think a decent UI overhaul with better highlights would smooth over many of the bumps currently in this build.

With all that said the positives I feel far outweigh the negatives and the game is still very much worth checking out. I look forward to future releases.

This game is a prime example of what should not be done when creating a remake.

From the current point of view, the revision of the game is still relatively successful, increasing the playability. The characterization is also very good. I hope the update speed can be maintained and continue to improve. Stable updates can get more attention and support.

The visuals are great, although the MC is a tad feminine, but that's fine; all the women are hot, so I can't really complain about the MC. I do fear the game is going to take a more LGBTQ turn down the road, though, and I may have to depart, unless it's avoidable.

I don't have an issue with the free-roam/sandbox aspect of the game; I think it's really well done, and unlike other games with it, I think it flows smoothly. However, it could possibly benefit from a "task" or "quest" aspect so we know what we're supposed to do. I know if you click a certain room, it'll give you a message like "You're supposed to put the bucket in the bathroom" or something, which is good, but a task bit would be nice too, just so we're not always clicking the wrong rooms.

The dialogue isn't the best either; it's not terrible, but sometimes it feels a tad stale and some things get repeated, but for me, it's really not an issue. I'm a native English speaker, but I'm not a native English thinker, and I can read broken English better than I can good English.

Something that really annoyed me, though, is that I'm an incest lover, and the fact that every 2 minutes the game states over and over again that nobody is related is a tad annoying. I think it would be better if that was removed and we were able to set roles, or if someone came out with an incest patch that removed any mention of them not being related, and in all honesty, that broke the game for me and pretty much made it unplayable, but didn't take away how great the game is, so I can't really say, "1 star, this game is shit 'cause mom ain't my mom." It was a good game and a really good start. I just hope we don't see the developer fall like many of us do.

EDIT: Something else that just came to me too is how annoying it is how much of a pussy the MC is . But there were some options for him to be more assertive, so maybe it's not too bad. We'll see.

Prologue review- Awesome graphics and that's all. Pretty same story as of the earlier game and I think this one is the remake with same content but with just a slice of sandbox, which is a turn off as it keeps hard to follow and remember the story. ANd in the name of remake there wasn't anything new I found in this game seriously, lol. Rest, the premise looks interesting will have to wait for future updates to see how this goes.
