Greeting, everyone;

I'm developing a certain 3D game and would like to know what you think about character movement with mouse, like some mmorpgs out there. For example, left click to move, right click to interact.
And also, about the combat system. Would you like to see a game with more action and fast reaction or a "simple" and "slow" combat on a h-game?

Thank you all in advance and have a good day :)

when you say left click to move, do you mean click on map and the little guy runs to where you clicked?
the unspoken rule of H-games is one-handad gameplay keyboard or mouse none of that WASD steer with your mouse two handed stuff.

Yep simple click where you want to move and the character will go there. Also, making the controls so it can be played by both left handed and right handed people if you know what i mean.

Personally I prefer WASD movement and mouselook (the level rotates, not the player if you know what i mean). This can be either first person or top-down or isometric perspective. Doesn't matter. (I know that first person is impossible for a small development team)

But I know this will be very difficult to do. Walking with mouse and the level itself stands still (or doesn't rotate) and instead the character rotates is way easier to program.

I don't like movement with mouse or nonrotating level. I can live with it in point and click 2D adventures. Alternatively I prefer 2D sidescrollers which can be either controlled with keyboard/keyboard+mouse or gamepad.

The controls sound perfect for me, about combat make it slow and turn based.

Basically Neverwinter Nights.

I completely disagree with this. This only make games dumber.
It really depends on what kind of game you are making and what those controls are going to be used for. If it's not an action game and you need really few buttons, that seems like it's a pretty good configuration, but it's always nice to give key binding, unless your gameplay will be solely based on the mouse.

Also the premise that all adult games have to be porn games where you rush from sex scene to sex scene without any story or gameplay, is wrong, in my opinion. Nothing wrong with pure porn games, though. But as you can see by the amount of visual novels here there are a lot story rich adult games, that indeed contain explicit scenes, but not necessarily rush it. Because of this its not always necessary to make the gameplay barrier free (to be able to play one-handed) :D

Thanks for sharing. Opinions are never wrong, no matter how dumb they are.

Nothing against this, unless it's a frozen thing. Everyone not having a QWERTY keyboard hate those four keys. And everyone using their left hand for the mouse hate having to use keys on the left side of the keyboard.

That's why I said keybinding it's important, but it's just a control scheme, meaning you have four directional buttons, either WASD or the arrow keys for left handed people or something.

Well, first thank you all for your opinions. Yep, it is in my plans to make a key binding system. I asked this because i'm making a game with focus on action and mid battle sex, not just porn or some animations here and there. I plan on reaching a balance between the two and i'm also a fan of hard games. I have the story almost complete with room for expansions if it goes well, a system of reward and punishment depending on user choices and actions.

Hmmm... Well mate, again, this is just my opinion, but usually sex and action don't mesh ONE RIGHT AFTER THE OTHER. I think the best approach is if you have an action scenario with, say, nude women and stuff, and then a "calmer" part about the sex. But then again, I don't know what you are going to make, and the fact that you say you like hard games is promising and it might work regardless of what I think.

In either case, good luck, mate, it's just an advice, but I'd love to see a game like that.
