Well your mod sounds cool. I will check it out. I hope you consider adding more western girls in the future though while I like Asian girls too but I really like diverse, mixing it up. As I said last week, I've half-way created a WTM mod. It probably goes further than some mods in certain ways, and not as far as some mods in others. I'm considering whether I should create a unique F95 ticket for this, but for now, I think I'll just release it here, on this thread, for WTM fans to have the first crack at.
Before I do that, there's a burning question I should answer: why am I doing a WTM mod? Isn't this a waste of everyone's precious time and energy? I have two other projects I'm working on, and there might be roughly 20-30 wonderful people patiently waiting for me to conclude those.So, if you're a fan of my work and you're feeling frustrated that I did a WTM mod, I have two main reasons why I'm tinkering around with this:
So that's basically why I did this.
- I need a space where I can work on my DAZ animation skills and RenPy coding ability. I think an informal mod seems like an ideal context to do this. Already, I've made significant progress in understanding "image buttons" in Renpy (thanks to Mobum as well as Ninoss!). This was a major headache for me, but now I finally think I got it all figured out. My DAZ animations were also horrible (and they still are), but while doing this mod, I learned how to use "Limb Stick" for DAZ animations. Image Buttons and Limb Stick are huge additions to my skill set, and I'm excited to utilize them as I continue to work on my other two projects. Overall, Mods are a great way for amateurs like myself to improve their abilities.
- I really enjoyed WTM Academy (as well as its predecessor, Examination Day). The concept was great, the framework very accessible, and the "feel free to Mod this!" attitude was very enticing to me. I started by casually modding WTM with pictures of my own, then started modifying the script and premise, and after awhile I finally realized, others might enjoy some of the changes you're making, SS. So I set about creating this Mod.

- I'm gonna start with a big shout-out to the WTM creators and Modders who have gone before me and have scoured the internet searching for clips and pictures of porn-stars (and amateurs!) acting out the various scenarios that are experienced while playing WTM Academy. You guys have done a great job, and my hat is off to you. I have nothing but respect for your work. That being said, my personal imagination is overly picky--when my mental conception of a WTM student doesn't exactly match up with a video clip, I get a little distracted. Also, I'm not a big fan of Western Porn Stars. This is why one of the main goals of my mod is to eventually replace all the "found porn" images and video with DAZ rendered replacements. I mean no disrespect to people who enjoy utilizing found porn clips in games. But for me personally, I'd rather have the clean slate that DAZ generated characters and animations can provide. so if you don't like DAZ images, characters, or animations, you definitely won't like my Mod. That's totally cool, to each his own.
- I'm far from complete in DAZifying my version of WTM. The overwhelming majority of the video clips in my mod are still the same live action clips from 0.18b. Replacing the rest is on my to-do list. The video clips I've created so far are quite rough--one is laugh-out-loud funny (you'll know it when you see it). This mod is definitely a work in progress.
- I like voyeurism, I like slut-making, and I like NTR. So all that is a big part of my mod. Regarding the dreaded NTR stuff, in the future, my mod can be altered to make NTR avoidable. In this iteration, however, that choice is not present. So if NTR is a deal-breaker to you, you won't like this version of my mod. No need to argue or insult people about it. That's all I got to say on the matter.
- I love Asian women (I think there's only one western girl in my mod) and I altered the setting to be a Japanese university. If you don't like Asian women, you probably won't like this game.
In conclusion, thanks to Ninoss and everyone else who've made WTM something I've enjoyed, and if you download and play through my mod, thank YOU for giving it a shot.

I was just saying VPN to skirt the limit.
I think standard might have been a culprit as you were downloading indiviual files in the folder vs archive.
I think he does the folder to easily update it vs having to upload GB's each time an update vs few MB's.
I love this game but there is a bit of an issue with this update for me: the introduction of school funds.
Any upgrade require school fund same for photoshoots, so I took 2 upgrades did 1 photoshoot aaaand now I'm stuck.
No idea what the base increase is, 50$ with the outerless upgrade. Do you have to wait months with only 1 upgrade before contacting sponsors or something?
There doesn't seem to be a way to use your own money for that so upgrades and photoshoots become a pain to get.
I'm guessing it's a matter of balancing out everything but as it is the only thing I'm seeing is +50/month, may be sponsors and shoots but right now I can't afford them... so just wait?

Yes, quite a bit lost with the budgetary and sponsorship issues so far. Guess i'll restart from zero once or twice to see if i start to see if i get the hang of the resource management matters - that in my opinion is something of a weird feature, in that it feels more like things for a headmaster to deal with than a teacher.
In my view at least, subquests or tasks involving turning students into assistants/monitors, schmoozing with the parents involved in the PTA meetings by seducing some moms or sharing slutty students with someone else's fathers, among other stuff, re-selling taken pieces of clothing and so on, things more related to being a teacher going into the slippery slope of corruption, harassment & stuff.
Just my two cents of thought.
Having played further, I have to agree with this, because I cannot figure out how to balance the school's budget. I've tried every initial policy that I thought was available, and couldn't make any progress towards actually balancing the school's budget.

I keep loosing money to a point I only have time to pass bills in the first PTA meeting before staying under the 1000$ mark, and even if the photoshoot it the first I pass, By the time I try to do it for the first time I already have too little funds to go though with the shooting. Which in turn prevents me from making big bugs with the sponsors requests who ask for pictures.
I just get stuck in a bad loop every playthrough.

Haven't searched around so what i found on my playthrough about money is that you get more by sponsors requests for a day or 2 and pass them to the academy through the management in your pc.
You can do more than 1 request ofc and money from same sponsor goes up (could be relation related or next continuality thing, not sure).

loved the new update with sponsors and photoshoots. would love to make it clear which pic you have already taken and which is still not. had to go backward and forward to get the missing pictures.

I was wondering if someone could make a Celebrity Mod Pack for the game as it would make the game more fun and you could be harrassing celebs instead of pornstars?
the camera button is the giveaway as to whether you've taken the picture before, otherwise it's blank and you have to pick a new pose.
If a girl passes, I believe she'll actually re-apply to the school after a period of time. I haven't tested if her stats are the same on the re-application or if they're re-rolled.
I'd be cool, definitely could do photoshoots for celebs who've done nude photoshoots (i.e. Miley Cyrus/Kim K). The sourcing vids for the exam would be tougher though. If people are fine with the base vids folder clips then go for it, I'd say.
Yeah, until said otherwise by Ninoss, I wouldn't sell exam subjects until that feature is fleshed out.
You could use Deepfake videos of celebs as the exam videos I would make it myself but not very good at making mods lol
Week 1, call your sponsors. Week 2, call again and they give you a task. Do a few tasks and call them again and ask them for support (option 2 iirc, not the "I'm broke" option), after that they give you whatever they agreed to at the start of the week, with their tasks being bonus cash. The higher your relationship with the sponsor the more they give.
I do first day call all sponsors, Saturday morning dump all your personal cash into the school (no point in you having it in the current state of the game really) and get as many new students as you can through PTA. Start of week 2 call the sponsors again and grab tasks to do (any escort ones don't need the club). Do as many tasks as you can, then call them again and ask for the support. After that you shouldn't ever have any real money issues.
