VN - Ren'Py - WVM [S2 Ch.1 Ep.13 F] [Braindrop]

I played this game due to the amount of high reviews and overall hype. After playing, I'm left feeling it's a bit of a mixed bag.

The Good:
- The characters are very well written and engaging. You want to keep playing to find out more.
- The artwork is great and the girls are gorgeous.
- The setting is unique enough.

The Bad
- Literally every girl throws themselves at the MC. There is little to no chase or challenge. Whenever a new girl appears (and there are lots) you know it is only a matter of time before she is on the end of the MCs cock.
- The MC is pretty much the male equivalent of a Mary Sue. Every thing about him is perfect, he is flawless. He always says or does the right thing at the right time and everyone loves him. It makes for a boring character.

The Ugly
- Yet another MC with a horse dick. It is ridiculously huge, it defies physics in that he goes balls deep without puncturing the females lungs. I know it's a fetish for some but I'd prefer something a little realistic.
- The animations are a bit janky and could be a lot better.

Despite my complaints this is still a high quality game and worth playing.

really like this game, from the story to the end of this version, it is very easy to play, it would be more fun if you add some animated scenes, but everything is good for now, can't wait to what will come in next update.

Gotta say i've got mixed thoughts on this i do like the concept of being a big collage basketball star i know its not complete and it may change but i did enjoy it the story is quite good ur main guy is ok i hope to see more of a story of him playing basketball against another teams other collages trying to win him over etc plus more teammates involves would be cool, but i don't like how he runs back and forth to Jamie all the time he's supposed to be this collage superstar and almost every girl wants him and his so called gf says he can do as he pleases and she's cool with it but he still don't take full advantage of it, i just feel he just wants to be with her some chars i enjoyed but i did find some choices kinda forced and u weren't given the freedom or option to do as u pleased there were times i wish i could just spend time with Shauna or others and not have to run back to Jamie cuz she's always in the picture i just feel she is the main girl and everything u do needs her approval first, give us more options to get with other girls and not have her telling me who to go with or telling me to touch this person can i go and do things alone without her breathing down my back i also wanna add the freckles are a little overkill on some and do look a little like dirt on the girls at times, i do like the coach she's pretty cool hope to see more time with her also her daughter looked great until she cut her hair now she looks like every other girl.. I've already rambled long enough I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

Amazing! The story, with all the twist and turns is awesome, I could use a bit of humor, but it's just personal opinion and doesn't take anything away from the main story it self. Character design, is top notch, Female Shauna is my favorite visual character. Characters background stories are cool too, MC may be to perfect but this is a game so it's OK, I'm pissed at who I think are villains, I like the good guys, and I am curious about the mysterious charters, so the script works for me. This is the 1st time I played this and one of those games that I didn't stop until I got to the end of the version.

Amazing character design, dialogues and story. But in my opinion, harem path would be avoidable, i think we need loyal path or new girlfriend(loyal to another girl) path too.. I'm sure it will be better after many update. It's exciting and i can't wait to play new updates.

This is a fantastic game. I've played a number of ren'py-based adult games and have to say that this title stands out in my opinion.
In particular I think the setting of the story is quite refreshing and its progress so far is interesting, too.
Characterization and character progress of the main character(s) (and honestly, most if not all other characters as well) are handled very well. They have me waiting to see where the story takes them next at any rate and I (somewhat similar to the main character) have begun to care about them (to a degree of course). That is an impressive feat to achieve for any writer. So my appreciation and commendations for that.
The writing and use of language (inner dialogue in particular) obviously are the main tools for this. In other words: great writing, keep up the good work!
The choices available in-game feel quite impactful. That is another really good thing for a game of this sort. I hope the developer can keep this up in the future, when more characters and/or further story developments continue to complicate things. It would be important to keep close watch on the story not being forcefully limited too much (which might make the player feel like the decisions are no longer that important) and on the other hand keep the characters likeable and true to their characterization so far. This is not a problem at the moment, perhaps just something to look out for in the future.
Now I don't know much about rendering or animations. But what I have seen in this game looks great and is definitely at least on par with other games out there.
Let me finish by saying again that I think this is a great game which I definitely will keep an eye out for in the future.

so going in i just figured, another school romp lets see how it goes! while bored and looking for something new to try, and all i can say is damn! blew me away this was a hell of a lot better then i had expected even with the best hopes. hell as of writing this day 1-4 has about as much content as some 0.6 or 0.7 and its got a fucking PLOT not kidding a fucking plot this isn't a plumber coming to snake her drain boys its an actual story

I'll start by saying Braindrop is putting a lot of effort into WVM, probably beyond a healthy amount, and it shows. All the characters have distinct personalities that don't bleed into each other. The review rules say "try to be objective", but the things I love most about this game are very subjective.

When I first saw the 3 main girls, I thought they looked... slightly odd. I thought "Jamie has weirdly sharp corners of her lips, and Azel has a hilarious expression constantly". Looking back now, I realize this sets them apart from other games where all the women are designed to be objectively "perfect". It seemed like Braindrop wanted the characters to look unique, not perfect. They aren't objectively perfect, but many would argue they are Subjectively perfect. They grow on you really fast, just as a certain meme-lord implied.

Anyway on with the "objective" part of the review.

Render and model quality: 9/10
The character models clearly have a lot of time and care put into them. It's almost as though they are exactly what he envisioned before even creating them. I'm not going to say they are objectively awesome, but most models are at least unique, particularly with expressions. I love it. I'm taking a point off for two reasons. First, some abnormal usual ass cheek protrusion. It's hard to explain but I notice it right away in a game. Secondly, there is a lack of definition in skin and/or eyes on some models. Shauna for instance. Her skin is very smooth and IMO lacks definition. Her irises lack depth as well. As far as image quality, I don't recall any compression artifacts.

Character development and dialogue: 10/10
As I stated earlier, every character has a completely unique personality. Braindrop's personality and speech patterns don't seep into any of the characters, which is extremely important when it comes to writing dialogue. There are rarely any typos, and Braindrop's grammar is likely better than mine (it is impossible to assess your own grammar since our own errors are not realized by ourselves). The vocabulary isn't overbearing or pretentious. It's good writing, but the average English speaker definitely won't need to google words constantly to play the game.

Story/concept: 9/10
The story is a sort of "dream come true" plot, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's just really relentless with it is all. I find myself conflicted on this because we all want dream come true, but the same time, it isn't the most sophisticated way to write a story. Sophisticated isn't synonymous with appealing though. There is plenty of progressive metal that sucks ass, meanwhile "Hey Joe" by Jimi Hendrix is almost a universally beloved song. The story has it's drama though, so it's not all rainbows and unicorns I guess. You will be a knight in shining armor for every single woman in the game, and that might be too saccharine-sweet for some people.

I'm not that good at giving reviews but since I decided to pledge to Braindrop after reading the note at the end of chapter 4 and learning how consistent he has been with updates despite difficult circumstances I thought I'd give it a try.
The art direction and renders are great, the writing is good especially regarding the characters, every one of them are likeable (at least those meant to be ) and though I've played my fair share of harem games I never knew how much I wanted one were your girlfriend want you to build a harem until I played this one

Okay, we have there one of most fast growing games of this year. So i taken eye on it.

Game is not bad at all, scenario is somehow fresh and game nicely flowing. My biggest problem is art in this game. Other people here talking about awesome renders, great models, excelent graphics. ....
GUYS? LIKE WTHack? WHERE? Tell me please where you saw it? Art in this game is definitelly FAR under average. Many models expressions is somehow almost SCARY, when they trying to smile! Almost al models eyes going crossview ? (AmI using right word for it? Looks funny.) There almost no lighting all renders is done by blank light maybe dome and only camera lights.

DAMN GUYS! If you want to talking about nice art look on games from Philly, NoTvill, Motkey and many others, but this?!

Quality of art in this game is big NO ( Games in 2016 looks better than this one). Don't talk about great art, if there is nothing even close to great art. That's probably done, because Dev have little experiences with 3D, fine everybody somehow starting, but that hype around ?

So my Overall is 3 stars, I finded no bugs, storyline is fine, but art draging that game down in a big way. I didn't give 2 only because I already give 2 to much worse game with many bugs and things around than this one is.

You play as a young athlete who enrolls in a college with a struggling basketball team. Your status as the star player has made you very popular with the ladies, and you are given many perks to play for the team. It's basically the perfect setup for a fun care-free romp. Except for one thing...

The main character has a girlfriend who is stuck in the deepest depths of the uncanny valley. I find her to be very unattractive in both looks and personality, so I would gladly get rid of her if the game gave me the choice. Unfortunately, the game never gives you that option, which means I'm stuck with her. She also happens to have the most content of any of the girls by far, so you end up seeing an awful lot of her. Which is a shame, since I do enjoy pretty much everything else in the game.

As far as the gameplay goes, it's a standard visual novel, so there's no grind at all. There are some choices that change how the story unfolds, but the only ones that matter are those that involve side characters. The early game has a seemingly important choice to be made about the two main girls but it doesn't matter in the long run because the game funnels you back onto one path later on. These sorts of fake choices always annoy me so that was a big disappointment.

Not only has this game failed to improve, but it has gotten much worse over time.

The facial expressions are still disturbingly unnatural, the main plot continues to railroad you onto one path even when it goes against your early choices, and Jamie is forced on you harder than ever before. There are a bunch of new characters that are added into an already bloated cast, which slows the development of established characters to a crawl. The new characters are either redundant, pointless, or just plain awful. The main story is poorly developed, with characters making absurdly stupid decisions in order to drive the nonsensical plot forward.

It was originally a flawed game with a lot of potential, but now it's just a bad game with a handful of sexy scenes scattered about.

I the game the models I have never seen besides your bff who can you chose which gende she have (female or transgender) that idea i thought is damn hot and cool. The story, the text and of course the models are gorgeous and makes so much fun to play this game, I can only give 5 stars so far and can only say so far dl the game guys and try it out.
Can´t wait for an update but the good part is that I dont reach the end of this version so far.

Models, 10/10. Not only the quality, but also the different types and how the MC talks with them. It feels natural. I have to go back, but not many animations atm. Mostly, there are high quality pictures. Not to mention, none of them are ripped from somewhere. Or not that I know of

Story, at the moment of writing this, it is not really original. Or not really out of the box. I really like it, because the mc is a bad ass pussy (he calls himself a pussy, because he cares about people). And the girls love him for it. Maybe something will happen, but at the moment it is a really well written feel good, you in the spotlight kind of story. Ever wanted to be adored because you are really good at something, try this game.

Fetishes, this game is pretty straight forward. Lots of different models. I bet all sex related positions will be tried. Plus you can choose if your close friend will be a trans or not. It is an option! It isnt forced onto you by the creator. I choose to make her/him a trans. Story wise, I really like it so far.

Lastly, this is not a shitty grindy sandbox game. Your skills are maxed from the start.

Holy shit! How did I miss on this game?! Not letting it get out of my sight now that's for sure!

The gals are really cute and it was a pleasant surprise to see the option for T content if one wishes it so. Visually the only minor nitpick I have is that the protagonist is walking around with Eiffel tower in his pants!

The story is nice and moving at a good pace, good balance with teasing and the steamy scenes.
The only fear I have with a harem story is that some characters may be less developed or have less screentime but so far so good.

Overall you can't go wrong with this . It is a pleasant game that it won't waste your time!

Also dev is not a mute and keeps the patrons & fans updated which certainly helped my decision to support him.

This has rapidly become one of my favorite games on the site, great writing good characters, fantastic models, nice animation and a very intriguing story. I really do not have a single bad thing to say about this game, I look forward to every singe update that is put out.

Ohoho! What a game! I like the characters and the story, the fact that I can choose which person to engage with, and, even the fact that I can put the second name. Great quality and a great start. That's how you present a game! And, of course, the fact that it's a harem might be making it even better! Great job man! Keep it up!

This game is amazing. Great renders, fun story, lots of hot women to choose from, something for everyone. Especially great for lovers of harem type stories. Really enjoy the trans option too. Can't wait to see where each update takes it. One of the best adult games I've played.

This has become one of my all time favorite VN's! Writing/story is excellent! Updates are VERY Regular, no need to wait 2-6 months for new content! Models are not box stock DAZ which I LOVE! All around it has been a PLEASURE to play this VN.

Not sure if this is even a con anymore as it fits in the story and is writen well but the MC's dick is HUGE LOL. DEV Seems to have nerfed it a little which IMO fits better. It's still large but not OVERLY EXCESSIVE as in the beginning.
Choices seem to have little to no consequences as of now. May change in the future?
