VN - Ren'Py - WVM [S2 Ch.1 Ep.13 B7] [Braindrop]

This game has some of the highest highs and some of the lowest lows I have seen. I feel that it's only fair to give it a 2, since it ticked a few of my boxes, but really disappointed me in other aspects.
Some great features to the game:
-Great renders. Always very clean looking, and the backgrounds always have good variety. Sometimes the characters can look a bit "off" or cross-eyed. Also, the mouth that many characters make when you kiss them reminds me of Magikarp.
-Quite a lot of characters to go around, with most of them looking either good or decent. I also like the fact that you get girls with all different shapes and sizes, and different skin tones as well.
-A lot of different changes to the environment, how the MC always goes to new places, and there are always new things to see. There's a good sense of exploration, ish, until you realize that you're just handheld the whole way through
The bad features:
-The MC is the most boring character I have seen in a while. Everyone just loves him and lets him cuck them because they "can't bear the thought of not being with him". Honestly this makes me feel extremely slimy playing it, especially when the MC constantly brings up the fact that he feels bad he's doing this behind this person's back, but keeps doing it anyway. And when they find out, BOOM they're fine with it. The dev tried adding a flaw to his character, but he INSTANTLY gets over it. The only trouble this guy ever has is too many characters loving him at once. ALSO, kid you not, there is this one scene where he straight up tells one of the girls that he wants to fuck other girls, but tells her he doesn't want her to fuck other dudes. I honestly chuckled real hard at the audacity of this dude.
-The story just isn't good. While I did mention the MC going around places giving a nice feeling of exploration, he literally moved houses 4 times in the span of a week. That's just crazy on top of meeting all these new people and fucking like 20 people you just met. Also in a game where the plot is about a basketball superstar joining a college to play basketball, there has yet to have been a single basketball match, yet somehow all this other crazy shit is happening. Later on in the story, there is a "twist" that really felt like it came out of nowhere. People might think this is a good thing, cause it caught them by surprise, but the build up wasn't "ripe" enough, causing it to feel very rushed and awkward. I honestly think the twist could've been in later episodes.
-The MC is always conveniently at the right places, at the right time. This really gives the feeling where all the side characters might as well be cardboard cut outs, since they never really have anything to do besides waiting around for the MC to show up. Everytime he finishes fucking someone, he leaves the room and BAM, runs into the next person. He fucks that person, and then walks here, BAM! He runs into another one, and another one, and another one, etc. This game truly helped me understand what it feels like to have simps simping for you, because every character in the game literally simps so hard for the MC.
TL;DR: Even as a person who likes harem games, I don't think the harem aspect to this game is strong enough to hook you throughout everything else it has to offer, which is not much besides great renders and decent looking characters.

Meh. MC is pretty much infallible with a giant's veiny dick.
The game starts out alright and the stories pick up really well. But then it becomes just another harem game. Way too often you get no choice of whether he screws someone or not. Even though he complains about being really tired he goes on to plow everything in sight.
It's a one playthrough type of game and you might as well just screw everyone right from the start. Because you won't have much of a choice anyway.
Miserly updates.

MC is a machine, with unlimited rounds and effortless basketball skills. I was always aroused by the whole 'girlfriend-gets-turned-on-by-consensual-cheating' (other wise known as a cuckquean fetish), and this game has so much amazing qualities, you can truly see all the beautiful effort and thought that has gone into it! A girl for every taste, a story that'll knock you on your butt, this game is absolutely, undoubtedly amazing and I can't wait for more updates!

Some of the renders are nice, but be aware that even if you choose the regular and not the trans option for the purple hair girl the story will still be be written as if she were trans. Seems like half of the basketball team itself is also either trans or gay, so just because you pick the normal option in the beginning you'll still run into gay and trans characters in the game. The mom as LI gets pushed really hard too, so sucks to be you if you play this and that's not something you're into.

One of the Top 10s on F95. While I'm not a super fan of the facial expressions, they're easy to look past. The story sucks you in, is a great piece of contemporary slice-of-life with a great school and sports setting. Only thing missing is fixing those facial animations (doubtful) and adding the sandbox mode. I'd love it if I could focus on one girl and get extra content, story etc. My absolute favs are Shauna, Jamie and Bailey, so far

I really don't understand why this game has such a high rating. There are a ton of flaws.

This game is massively slow-paced with dull sex scenes with hardly any kinks outside of the transgender option. The MC's girlfriends all appear to love getting cucked for some stupid reason. Most of this game's dialogue is just people fawning over the MC for such stupid and shallow reasons.
There are literally no choices in this game other than "to fuck or not to fuck."

There are similar games that can pull this type of game's scenario off with a heavy dose of humor; this game lacks that completely. There is absolutely no humor. It's dry as fuck.

The "I love u MC thank u for cucking me i dont desurv u" scenes on repeat got old after day 2 or 3, but they keep going and going...

If you enjoy no story, boring sex, and mindless chicks that worship the mc for no reason, then this game is for you.

Excelent content! The game has a great looking, nice story and lovely girls with great sex scenes. The storyline with the trans girl is cool. Maybe could be more corruption in the character development of some girls.

TL;DR: The game isn't very strong in the early parts but it just suddenly gets really, really good.

[5/5] Story: This game doesn't seem to have much story but holy hell it really does and you only realize it all at once. The story suddenly goes from "U wan sum fuk?" repeating over and over to "Can I trust them?" There's also two MASSIVE twists that completely blindsided me and I LOVE them. These last two updates have been getting really quite heavy, and I love it.

[4/5] Renders: I really want to give this game a 5/5 for renders, and while they are very well done, definitely having post work between rendering and release, they simply aren't eyecandy. Some frames are definitely incredibly beautiful, but not quite enough to give 5/5 for.

[*] Character Models: Some of the models are very hit-or-miss. Many look great from the get go while some time to get used to. Others are just a hard pass.

[+5/5] Animations: Bonus points for including animations. They look great, they don't have any glitches or issues with not looping properly that I noticed, and with only one exception I noticed, they're not framey or laggy.

[*] MC's Cock: I don't know if it gets smaller at some point or I just got used to it, but that shit is HUGE at the start and normal by the end. I'm happy with how it is at the end.

Its a good game with great renders and overall quality. But there are some problems with it:

• the main character is the male version of Marry Sue. He does everything right, doesn't have any selfish traits and always has everything handed to him on a silver plater.
• there are basicaly no choises in this game. The only choises you could make is whether you have sex with a girl or not. And it doesn't have any consequences, so it isn't even a choise, it is just a matter of whether you'd like to see a sex scene or not. And even those choises are sometimes taken away from you, e.g. you can't say "no" to a relationship with Shauna.
• a lot of dialogs that basicaly do nothing for the story, except show how MC just can't stop blabbering about his so called "problems" and how much he loves someone.
• renders are great, but in a lot of scenes (especialy with MC's mother) they look realy weird, like if you were 10 centemeters from her face. It always makes me uncomfortable, idk, maybe its just me, but something about her (MC's mom's) face and how close she always appears is just too weird for me
• there are some renders in day 1/2 where MC's dick is like 50cm/20inches long or something. But, if I remember correctly, the author said he will fix it in week 1 update
• changing houses. In this game you change houses not once, not twice, not thrice, but four times in 7 days. Whats up with that?

But don't let these issues stop you, its not as bad as you might think, but still it will be nice to have those issues at least somewhat resolved.
Story has a lot of potential, if it stops portraing MC as a god-tier marry sue, 90% of renders are great, sex stuff is there and in good quantity and quality.

I heard a lot of good things about this game and had to give it a try. There are a wide array of really good looking models and I can tell the developer has put a lot of time and effort into creating these.
My problems lie with character traits and the overall story. The MC is a Gary Stu. He barely runs into any problems and if he does the outcome is always overwhelmingly positive. He is perfect at everything, gets everything handed to him on a silver platter, he always says the right thing and every girl is madly in love with him after just a few interractions. This gets boring very quickly. You also barely get to control how the MC acts and that feeds into my next point.
The lack of choices and meaningful outcomes of those choices also bug me. (Mild spoilers) A good example is how you can cheat on your girlfriend and she is completely fine with it, even encourages it. There is no reward for staying loyal to her or little to no negative consequences for cheating. It kills replayability for me and it all feels kinda pointless. Why even have choices of this magnitude if there are no consequences and it all plays out almost exactly the same anyway?

I also have problems with the overarching plot of this VN. You are a famous basketball star that is supposed to save a bad college team from their losing streak, but there is little to not basketball at all. The plot revolves around the MC saying all the right things to a girl and eventually getting in her pants to continue building your harem and this happens on repeat throughout the game.
I guess I'm wondering when the plot is going to evolve into something more interesting than just a "harem builder".

There is a good amount of dialogue, but a lot of it is very skippable and at times extremely cringey and reptitive. "I love you babe, you saved my life and I'm yours" "No babe, you saved my life too, you are the light of my life" etc etc. These kinds of lines happen at least once an update. I'm a pretty romantic guy so I usually love romantic banter between characters, but long stretches of lovey dovey confirmations of how much characters mean to each other every other interraction gets boring and old really fast. This is usually only a problem with Shauna and Jamie and does not apply as much to other characters.

I'll rate this three stars. It does have some really enjoyable moments, the renders are great, the models look fantastic at times and a few of the characters are actually pretty well written, but the complete package is very average and does not compare to the many of the other 5 star rated VNs on this site.

One last thing I would say is that I think the game has a lot of potential and it's certainly not bad. I will try it again when it's finished for sure, but for now my rating stands.

I only have two main good points about this game. It's that the visuals are average at first but quite good later and that this game approaches transgender characters very well from a sex scene standpoint (if you choose).

I usually don't leave such a negative review but this game has an insane amount of support and funding so I don't feel bad when I say this: this is a terrible game. It has good porn, but it's a terrible game.

If you just want the most basic of leadups to sex scenes, then this is a good porn. It sets up the situations, the girls give slight to no resistance, then at some point they will fall for the MC's charms. The sex scenes themselves are not the best, but they are very good, especially in the later chapters.

The story is horrible. Apparently some people are invested in the story but I can't figure out why. There's a massive universe of characters made without much care and there's never any bad consequences for the MC in the end. There is no overarching goal that's made clear, there is no building desire to win girls because they all drop their panties in a flash..again, are you just motivated by porn scenes? Then this game still works. But that's really the only motivation for reading this dialogue and trudging onwards and I would just recommend POV porn videos instead.

Now here's the thing, I can appreciate a CG collection game, a sex scene collection game. I've even rated some 5 stars. But I CAN'T EVEN RECOMMEND IT ON THAT BASIS. Why? There's so much damn meaningless dialogue. You would think that's impossible in a game that I said has a meaningless story: well, it's not. This game has a HUGE amount of dialogue and if it ever finishes, then it may have the most ever. I think this is due to the fact that there is a massive harem of female characters (good), a large cast of male characters to set up school/team tensions (poorly done in my opinion seeing as I didn't give a damn about anybody, about basketball, or the team, or anything).

But here's a third reason for massive amounts of dialogue: there is no plot branching. Your decisions don't matter beyond "sex or not?". Like before, I'm not against a game with no decisions and I've rated some 5 stars. But you've got to have SOMETHING.

So to summarize, good visuals. Good handling of trans sex. But then, horrible character building. No decisions making. And then given those two points, you'd figure "ah it's a porn scene collection game?". NOT EVEN THAT because of the massive amount of frivolous dialogue and the haphazard winding structure of the story made at the random whims and fetishes of the game designer (and insane fans). I wanted to give 1 star on my personal taste but for the two good points I led with, I'll give 2 stars.

i friggin love this game. This has to be the most wholesome vn i have ever played. I cant wait for it to be finished, because for now there are a lot of story lines hanging in the air, and the most important one for me being with Azel. I really hope her narrative will lead to some cool scenes because there was a whole lot of build up and it would be a shame if it led nowhere.
The other girls are also very well written and they have their own personalities, there are so many of them, one cuter than the other. Put it on Steam and i will buy it instantly. Right to start with, My second favourite VN -Only after My New Family- so obviously i think this game is amazing

Pros:
Shauna. (is anything else needed).
The story-line is amazing and honestly very original throughout .
The Renders and animations are fantastic and the backgrounds are brilliant
The MC is a great guy unlike usual which makes him more likeable.
All the girls are amazing and unique in there own ways.
The English is actually good, surprising ikr.
You have the choice if u want to smash a certain girl or not (If u reject Bailey, what is wrong with you).
You also have the choice of Shauna's gender which is good, but Trans is definitely best for the story.
The game is lighthearted with some twists that make it interesting.
The Dev is an amazing guy and it shows with the game
Also i timed a plaything and it took -give or take- 10 hours and its only on day 7 and you can tell its nowhere near done, that has to be a good thing

Cons:
The only actual con in my opinion is how massive the MC's dick is, that thing is a lethal weapon.

If Braindrop completely avoids the worst thing on earth (NTR) then this game will probably be my favourite of all time

At first glance it seemed like this might be an interesting game with interesting setting and story, that revolves around basketball/college theme, but after playing it for a bit it just falls flat and becomes repetitive cycle of the same thing being repeated over and over again.

The plot itself barely makes any sense. You're a college basketball superstar who can get any girl around him after having a few minute long conversation with her and recruiting her to your harem... that's pretty much all that there is to the plot. On top of that, none of the females have any distinctive character traits, only thing that sets them apart is their looks.
Your girlfriend straight up tells you: "Hey babe, I want you to go fuck all of the girls you can find, because that would make them very happy" , that's it, that's the plot for the most of the game, go fuck every female you can find. But I guess that is the point of harem type of game, right?

The main character is set to be perfect on his own too, like he's super nice guy who can't do anything wrong and charms every girl around him with his perfection, how can someone not love him? There's nothing wrong about him,either everyone wants him or everyone admires him. But again, it just boring, there's more or less no personal problems that he has to face, no meaningful choices that would have an impact in the story(so far) or the characters around you. And not to be rude, but sometimes it just starts to feel like a "feel-good" type of game that was made for real life "losers" to compensate for things they never had and fulfill their fantasies, and that gets kind of cringy.

Also, bruh, WHERE'S THE BASKETBALL? For a game who's whole story should revolve around basketball there's barely anything about it, aside from couple practices. Maybe there's going to be more of it in the future updates, but right now it's lacking hard.

Renders and visuals are more or less nice, can't please everyone in that regard, some will like it while others won't, but I'm not going into details here. And that's probably only positive that I can think of right now, is that the game, visually, looks quite good.

But still, after seeing how the game develops thought the first, if I'm not mistaken, 7 days of the game and taking into consideration how there's little to work with in the future, since there's barely any story/plot/characters to be offered aside from fucking and building a harem, it seems like down the road this game, if nothing changes in the plot/story department, might become your typical half-assed porn VN with a goal to make as much money as possible before it fades away.

Hopefully I'm wrong in that regard and this game turns out to be good, that's why I'm keeping the 3 stars rating, since it's not the worst game around for sure and it can have potential, even tho there's barely any positives to be found right now. But here's hoping that I'm proven wrong and this game can turn out to be good.

Pretty disappointed after all the hype for this game. This is just a popular guy cheating on his girlfriend with a bevy of promiscuous women who throw themselves at him. That's it really. I dropped it after around 3 hours. There doesn't seem to be much of a story or anything interesting happening other than a congo line of awkward vanilla sex. The dialogue is very mundane and the emotional connection with these women is just dull. It's an uncreative nukige. Other VNs definitely do it better. The graphics are not the best too. I would normally give this a 2 star but +1 extra star for the no-nonsense gameplay. That's the one redeeming factor, no stupid grind, mystery hovers, or commutes. You can give this another +1 if the specific scenario of being a popular athlete is something you personally fantasize about.

A wife variety of models used, without any of the usual settings I've seen pop up in other games. I prefer some of the relationships/storylines in this game to others but all of them are enjoyable. Looking forward to updates.

The first half of the game is 4 / 5 easy, but it has gone downhill since, not only has the story gotten weaker but the models have also been changed into wierdly looking ducks. The duckfaces are waaaay over the top, and gotten to the point where it is just horrible to look at.

Didn't know what to expect from this game (I've previously played 3dcg games, but I would say I'm still relatively knew to the scene), but I am astounded with the amount of substance there is to this game! Not only does it have a TON of sex scenes, but it also has a lot of dialogue that fits both the plot of the game, and the character conflicts (that are so often neglected or unbelievable). Well done! You've got the spaghetti seal of approval.

The Dev has created a real feel good VN that has enough intriguing story and characters to hook you in. The renders and animations are great and overall it feels slick. Only shortcoming is it is pretty linear and lacking in real choices with consequences but hey that`s fine, even if you only play it once, you are in for a memorable ride!
