About it is all forgotten, and nobody needs it. The update can be given only in a month or 2 when the author himself will publish a public version.

Speak for yourself, I like the content they've produced so far and I'd be willing to spend money on them if it meant more development (and if I had the money).

Basically... If there were more consistent updates or even just bigger updates I'm sure people would subscribe a lot more but like you said, with minimal changes over an extended period of time there aren't going to be many people who will support this project until it has a decent amount of content.
