It's still a loop basically. Version 0.17 will start implementing progression, so if I were you I'd wait for 0.17 or 0.18. I'll be publishing a roadmap fairly soon to give more of an idea when these various pieces will be developed.

I’ve found new employees need to learn two things in the pill game, time-management and sale numbers!
When starting-up the DynaCas with a new lead, the first thing I look for is the name of the target company. That usually will give you an idea of what’s coming, then I use ‘targeted research’ to see ‘pillable employees’. Those are the ‘numbers” I speak of, because more pills sold means more money in your pocket. My next choice for ‘targeted research’ is Pillable Employee Type, which gives me an idea of what’s I’m dealing with on the pill front. Next comes Pillable Employee Shift if we’re looking at a GoodGirl pill or GoodGirl MAX customer , because have to say those two pills are my favorite to sell, kinda my bread and butter. Lots of buyers and an easy sales demo with no side effects.
Now if Pillable Employee numbers is high enough number (mostly I don’t touch anything unless its in the 10+), I just start hitting Research till I get all the info. Then I take a screen shot and get my sales pitch ready. But if the Pillable Employee is too low of a number (like say 6), I just hit ‘Find New Lead” and try again. I’ve found you can check out about three companies before the end of the work day.
Now to your sales pitch, be honest and try not to lie about things like Minimum purchase quantity for discount or other stuff. Same with Business health, I’ve found most customers don’t like it when you talk about their failing companies too early in the pitch. Now Company Ethics and Employee Sexualization are things you need to be aware of with your more shady companies that may be in the market for Dumb Bitch.
Not every lead is going to be a winner, and its real painful at times when a big fish gets away. But one has to just mark it up to lesson learned and move on. A few good high numbers sales can mean you’re taking the rest of the week off and having fun at the beach or the mall.

It's recently become available to my MC, but, even though he has sold some, he hasn't gotten the opportunity to "Demo" any as yet .
Also, the "lactation" pill . . . Has that been 'implemented' into the game yet ?
As-in, being able to 'unlock' it, and it, having any 'Demo-scenes' available ?

I am working on writing the demo for it now - it will be similar to the Dumb Bitch pill demo, since it will have a lot more risk involved.

I think the base gameplay loop could use some tweaks to make the grind for buying pills a little less, and maybe opening things up to choosing a different ethnicity for your transformed female self.
As it stands right now it feels most "optimal" (at least in terms of maximizing female time, if that's what you're interested in) to intentionally go with the cheapest option for the New-U machine and intentionally get a "bad" pill with a side effect that locks you in that form permanently. Not only does this mean you don't have to constantly buy pills/pay tons to get New-U pills that last longer, but you also get the advantage of picking your build and ethnicity, *and* you get a free set of outfits that you never have to return (because your transformation never wears off).
It would be cool if during character creation you could choose male and female selves separately, and/or if it didn't take a ton of grinding/some lucky work pulls to get a decent supply of X-Change or New-U pills.

Suggestion: What if the personality you choose determines how affected you are by more extreme sex acts relative to your masculinity?
Surely taking a pounding as a fresh x-change user could be more mentally detrimental to a playboy than a more average personality type.
I feel like it deserves more of an effect than the range of your starting stats.

I think one could argue that a Playboy would be more open to unusually sexual experiences since one would expect a Playboy to be at drug crazed orgies. Now while I would say a Jock could react badly to a pounding, I also could see the Jock per trope to secretly desiring such even if in a female form. But I won't mind having such a choice available for some roleplaying favor for repeat play (unless it was a too much effort).

Started this game yesterday and so far I'm really liking it. I really love how we can pick between several characters at the beginning so we can pick whoever matches our tastes. I'm personally not much of a fan of the constant switching around which is why I'm really looking forward to the permanent pill that'll be added later on. Still gotta address the elephant in the room (for me atleast) and that is pregnancy. It seems like it's planned which makes me very happy as it's my biggest kink but there's an issue: the game uses 'real porn'. I kinda doubt that any of the girls we play as actually has gotten pregnant in her career so it'll be very difficult to implement that... that's one of the reasons why using actual real life porn in games is actually rather restrictive.
I really love that the videos and pictures always match the female character we chose but I fear pregnancy might take away that consistency... I'm curious to see what the dev(s) will do.

This game is fantastic. Looking forward to future updates. I hope the dev eventually will add a relationship system with NPC's similar to Newlife. Also, some more minigames would be cool.

The closest games that often get mentioned to me are The Company (a lot of content, has a job sim element and a lot of branching paths), Girl Life (extremely open life sim), Tasty Curse (open world, pretty new but seems promising), Cupid's Way, Transfigure (a lot of content), Transylvania (horror themed, really good writing and unique art), Student X-Change Program (a lot of branching paths, made in the same "cinematic universe" as XCL). Obviously they're all different but should scratch some of the same itches.
I am planning on implementing a relationship system as soon as version 0.17 or so, so stay tuned! It won't be as full featured as Newlife's at first though, will start out fairly barebones.

It could use more variations / ethnicities for the random dudes you bang on beach / in bar etc.
The game is amazing. Haven't had this kind of vibe for a long time. But will there be a possibility of being a lesbian or bisexual? Tried to fondle stepsister but was always female, so obviously it didn't work. Having more girls to pick up would also be good (they can be random as well as guys, for example). Not to mention something more than blow/titjobs and casual sex in random encounters.
