VN - Others - Completed - X-Trek: A Night with Troi [Final] [Xia Liu Bei]

After playing this and the sequel, I wanted to rate this 4/5... but that's only because the sequel is so good.

The renders are wonderful, the sounds perfect and there is a good sense of humor. Its short, don't get me wrong, but its actually really well done. And if you like this, go play the second. And darn if these didn't have me tempted to join the Patreon...

My only complaint... and this is from a trekkie, is that neither should use the term Imazdi for the other. That's Troi and Riker. But that's my nitpick.

This is an extremely good game for star trek next generation (TNG) fans. The renders are very high quality and quite close to the characters from the show. The story is better than average for a porn plot.

The downsides are that it is on the shorter side and the choices don't seem to affect anything

This game legit made me lol. There's a pretty good story in this short game and you get the feeling it could be a much larger game. Lets hope the creator keeps developing it. The writing is good and I thought they character models were better than expected. Sex seen could use some more finishing types. Too bad you can't finish inside. Highly recommend for fans of ST.

I am fully onboard for more of this. Star Trek porn games have never really gotten very much love and attention and I feel like this one hits all the marks of a good game. from the accuracy of the characters, beautiful renders, good dialog/ story telling to the variety of sex scenes and choices... not to mention the subtle yet much needed room tones that make you feel like you are on board the enterprise. It's very well done.

Don't listen to haters, this is a great game!

The graphics are great the writing is funny. The toilet scene was a bit over the top for my taste but still funny somewhat and it's avoidable. It would have been better if it had some consequences though. Like having a negative consequence if not visiting the restroom before the date or some optional event or dialogue related to it on the medbay if visited.

Some minor things that could make it even better:
It is a short game and for that it's really great, but some greater story was hinted in it with TOS characters and the MC-s past and I'd like to see more about that. 2 other games were mentioned at the end which are a continuation of this one which is great but since they are about Beverly and Troi again I'm not sure they will have more about the hinted backstory.
There are some side characters in this game, with whom some future fun activities were hinted to. I'd really love to see that content with Shortstack, Ms Lucia and also Pip. Maybe not a separate game concentration on any of them but as additional content in one of the games.
Actually the best would be all of these put into a normal length game instead of separate short ones possibly in Renpy as even though the UI looks good and it's enough for such a short game for a longer game it's not enough.

I think this game is created with the Virt-A-Mate engine. I hope that more devs will use this engine in future because no more rendering time for create new scenes: And this means much more content. And fresh content is love... you know *Smiles*

It's a damn Star Trek game, and a good one too!

Granted the initial release was small, but with the promise of further chapters involving other characters I'm really excited, and will keep an eye on this game for a while.
