Hats off to you for actually going out and trying to put something together. F95zone is a great place to just put something up and get started. I always have a soft spot for these games made by people who are clearly amateur and getting started. We all start somewhere. You will learn and get better if you stick with it!
I remember Nergal's early works, I mean, they looked fucking terrible. Years later, now - look how much better they are.
Look at how shit Urban Demons started off, then look at the Solarion Project and tell me that dude has not gotten lightyears better.
Drawing is not a skill that can really be taught, and no amount of watching youtube tutorials, or lessons, or theory will ever get you there - the only thing you can do is sit your ass down, and draw and draw and draw, and gradually you learn and get better.
Artists work with references, and using another artists work as reference when starting is OK. It's how you learn, its how you get better. Perhaps the straight up tracing is a little bit of a no-no, seeing as you have actually put up a Patreon, but when you're learning fucking do whatever works man. There aren't really any shortcuts, you just gotta get those hours down.
Perhaps, it's true, it's unrealistic to expect too much in terms of supporters donating a monthly amount for something that is clearly not professional quality, but at the same time it's a learning experience. You just keep putting yourself out there, and gradually you will learn and get better. If you stick with it, you will get better.
I fucking laughed my ass off when I saw the tiers here, to be honest, but sure guy - shoot for the moon, at least if you miss you will still end up in the stars.

I evaluate each new project first of all by tags, then pictures and only then everything else; I consider it a monstrous omission not to write a complete list of tags when uploading to the site. This is how you can lose a huge audience

F95 has been a dump for a long time. To be honest 90% of the games on this site are trash. But now they've been joined by ai trash. There is no minimum entry threshold
