Cant even be mad, the scope is too big to be realistic. To be fair when I tried a demo ~10 years ago all you could do is walk around and talk with 2 characters or something like that. Should probably check out whats the current state.
If nothing else, I'm just amazed that this thing still has relevance. The guy marketed himself and the project well. The fact that vast majority doesn't likes the game, but it still makes a scene everytime it's mentioned, puts it in the internet boogie man or natural disaster status.
Because I submitted the latest update after it was untouched here for over 2 years, so it popped up on everyone's update feed lmao.

Depends on how you define 'release'. Is this game done? Not even close. The first version released to the public was back in April of 2014, which for reference was about 6 months after the release of Grand Theft Auto 5. So who's taking bets on which gets done first, this or GTA6? The outcome is so obviously lopsided, even Polymarket wouldn't touch this shit.
GTA VI will release first; they actually have an obligation to release something, even if they're obviously not ready for release, and it'll be closer to 1.0 than whatever Yandere Simulator is right now.
