You can't jerk off to AI Art.

Almost all of the adult AI art posted to Pixiv is the same pinup portrait of a girl looking at the camera. It's so soulless that it looks like unbuttered popcorn tastes.

What could AI porn artists do better to make you feel excited?

I'm experimenting with posing models in 3D software and using that as reference for the AI. Then photobashing the good parts of multiple AI generated images, with some manual drawing here and there.

The goal is to put some humanity back in the decision process and to create something better. But what's holding back the coom potential of AI art?

Wait like 5 to 10 years. Then maybe this shit is usable to actually make something good.
We ask gamemakers to make better games now. Can we not ask AI pornmakers to make better AI porn?

This stuff will pervade all erotic industries; it's already popping up in adult and non-adult games. Is there a better way of using this tool for sex?

It's hard to fap to any single image, whether it's hand drawn or AI. If you ask me personally, I need context. A story to go with the picture. This context can be provided in various ways, but in general, this would mean a comic/manga/doujin presentation. But even single panel illustration with some caption could tell a story.

Ai will struggle more, but change things like pov, from X (from below), use 3d model / vam for pose, use segment for each important part if needed. FemWar4TopB.png

And don't be lazy like above(picture), fidelity is strongest so making/using a model with high detail is big.

Using AI to generate human model from scratch is just wrong. Humans, unlike trees or landscape, have strict rules in their anatomy, like having exactly 5 fingers on each hand.

AI generation should work with 3D model, where all proportions are correct. Then you describe a pose and emotion and AI decides how to place this model in a scene, where the light should be, where is the camera etc.

Every time I see AI guessing human anatomy it ruins the image:
- 6 fingers on a hand,
- two pupils in one eye,
- disproportional length of limbs,
- joints bending the wrong way,
- missing fingernails
- mole on face that appears in one frame and disappears in another.

Right now AI cannot even turn model's head, because it was trained on images where people were looking straight into the camera. its just an overcomplicated software to merge images, instead of making unique content.

Just remember that there is a major difference between a professional using generative AI as one of their tools, and a random internet user typing 'big tiddy anime girl' into a prompt window and posting the raw result.

Go check out the AI art thread here on F95. Admittedly I no longer post there since they banned teen pics and have instead gone to fat, old and nasty looking women but some of the older posts are pretty amazing, and admittedly there are still a few new one that are pretty damned good as well.

So you're saying the power of a tool is in he who uses it?

Well like most things you can get better things if you put more effort into it.
And you have many ways to control your generations, for example controlnet where you can for use depth map from a 3d model if you like and inpaint to fix thing etc.
And who know how much things would improve in a couple of years.
You should be able to make things better than these for example

those are the exact problems. the noob posing and every girl looking like emma watson. it won't ever really look good (until AGI) but fixing the posing and forcing different looks goes a long way. but at least it would allow telling a bad handcrafted story, much like drawing a comic.

the current AI isn't capable of episodic memory so it'll never be able to produce a scene with a coherent story. it can imitate one as a pattern, but if you have to show it the story you're trying to avoid creating yourself, you're not saving any work. it has no concept of a 'previous context' which should affect its current generation.

most people doing AI 'art' now have NO idea of its fundamental limits and expect it will somehow surpass those if you just wait a little or learn to use it better. they'll be soon disappointed and the bubble will burst like all previous bubbles. it's not the new thing and it's not changing much anything, it's simply not capable of it. yet.

we need episodic memory and knowledge bases before AI can do what AI fanboys THINK it's doing now. LLMs are fundamentally incompatible with both of those. can't be done until those problems are solved. (and even then it still wouldn't be doing any kind of reasoning, but it would be able to answer questions correctly and produce a series of images with logical posing relevant to a story.)

the best you can get out of AI right now is using it as filter for existing art as you descibed, forcing the poses and redoing them with AI. which adds to your amount of work. and even that'll always look 'weird' because it's being too accurate and even laymen can pick up there's something off.

AI isn't there yet. I mostly see pics where the fingers are screwed up or where a hoop ring is in the body.
Not talking about teeth because they are even worst.
Then again, what is art? Something from someone or something from an AI? Creativity outsourced.
Sure, you can get your perfect carbon copy of your dream girl, your Ex, or whatever.
Though i am excited by smashing different characters together and look what comes out.
