The same person made Miyu and the Strange Island, which has a pretty good English translation. After using a character/art creator program for their first game (not AI, same thing Odyssey of Gianna uses) they dedicated themselves to learning how to draw. They have a lot of potential!

sweet, miyu and the strange island i've heard good things about, not exactly my cup of tea since it's mostly just petrification and stuff like that, but i'm glad they have some other kinds now.

it might be
I remember giving this a try a way back and it's had a patch or two since then but if there's content in it I'm not sure how I'm missing it. You clear like 3 floors in each of the 3 sections and you end up back at home. You can easily end up a point where you're so tied up traps stop applying bondage but then... nothing happens.

yeah, it's not really a game i'm much of a fan of, it just sounded kinda similar to what was being described.

I've played several other games like this and none of them have been fun.

"Okay, my character is completely bound up, has hypnosis items on them, and is helpless. What now?"

The game then obliviously says "Now you can restart the game yourself or struggle to take the items off and continue along." : )

We need an open letter to the creators of erotica games to tell them that there is, in fact, nothing wrong with game over rape/cgs no matter what people whining about bad end collectors have to say. I freakin' swear, I just have this gut feeling that people complaining about games with game over lewd content have lead to a bunch of games just being worse. Getting lewd content in fail states is better than games where the game has no idea what to do when you're at a point where you should be in a fail state.

I feel like there is a pretty reasonable middle ground that I feel like I've seen before, but can't remember where, and am kind of confused why its not more common. Have the game recognize when you've reached a point that's near unplayable, and pop up with a little "game over?" option in the corner or something that the player can select when they get bored of trying to pointlessly struggle. It's a very small change, but I feel like it does make the game a lot more clear on what your actually supposed to do, without removing the fun of pointlessly struggling a little bit for people that want that.

yeah i feel like there are some games i know of that once you are completely bound there is different content rather than having to futilely struggle, but yeah just being forced to struggle or restart is not my cup of tea. if they change things up once you are fully bound though, that can help matters, especially if they make it less tedious to move, or simply have you not have to move regularly at that point.

I feel like i recall this game (which i believe is called B.Z.M. , i labelled it that at least.) was mentioned previously on this thread, couldn't find it though. either way, it's gotten updated now, but now in order to get the new demo you gotta pay. i hope someone posts the link to the new version at some point.

DoL does another kind of middle ground pretty nicely.

I don't remember if there are any messages, but every player knows the failstates, and the player can decide whether they make the effort to escape and get back to the main game, or simply restart.
