I strongly disagree with referring to this as policing. Also, the content being niche and sparse isn't a particularly good reason not to have separate threads. I'd rather have two separate smaller puddles than have a slightly larger muddier one where everyone is bickering about what should be posted and if the game has mechanical depth or is a bad end collector. The cool thing about forums is that you can have as many threads as you want. It's a feature, not a bug. This is a niche enough fetish as is. I don't think there's any reason to police everything, especially when its not like this thread gets more than a half dozen posts a day at most.
In any case, I feel like the OP was mostly about gameplay-related changes. Something like Caliross doesn't really have transformation content (at least as a major focus) but it has a hell of a lot of lewd gameplay changes, while something like the Buzama dungeon games gameplay changes are basically limited to scripted bad ends, but they're both very fitting to this thread. There's a decent amount of games that have at least some of one of these aspects, and it really doesn't hurt to point them out, even if its only a small part of the game. As long as a game has some form of permanent or gameplay altering status change it's fair game in my book.
Regardless of how anyone feels about any of this, it's clear some people have different visions of what this thread should be and what sort of games should be posted here. Before anyone complains or gets upset over what I'm saying, I don't want nor am I suggesting anything done to this thread specifically. It can stay exactly as it is. Rather, I'd prefer a new thread be made.
Specifically, a thread that's more focused on abnormal status changes that makes it explicitly clear that it's focused on things like transformation, rather than using more nebulous descriptors such as "level downs" or the like. I think it would be useful to certain people here that are tired of seeing bondage games and brutal rape games and the like. Odyssey of Gianna would fit the criteria, Magical Girl Luna wouldn't.
That's just a suggestion from myself though, everyone is welcome to ignore it.
