This has been an on going discussion, with games developing year by year. With this topic I'm of course looking for something to play, but also trying to light up the discussion why something hits you the way it does.
To me, story is important. I can basically go with anything, as long as it's exciting and nicely written. Overall playability is also important, and I like if there are a lot of paths and multiple choices. On the other hand, if the models and outlook is nice, that can rule out some expectations with story etc. So basically I'm trying to say it's never that simple.
With overall quality, the top favourites are quite predictable like
With the story, Time for you, Our red string and Timestamps really got my attention. Nice models, but also a soft, very different story. Not too hard to approach, but something a bit different. Our red string was basically simple, but still a very deep story.
Simple story, not much to play with, but still current favourites are Midnight Paradise because of some kinks that do hit, and The deluca family because the small blonde girl is just too cute and quite the story behind her.

and Milfy City. They were my first ones, and they were hot and trending at the moment. Graphically quality very nice, something to really play and story was going somewhere. (still going). Also have to mention Treasure of Nadia for playability, and quality. But in the long run, not my piece of cake. Harem Hotel also did a weirdly big number for little old me, it is a while i've played it though. With the story, Time for you, Our red string and Timestamps really got my attention.
