Unity - Completed - Zombie Sex and Virus Reincarnation [Final] [Kanetsu]

Played it a year ago, and today, after re-thinking my thoughts about it, I can say:

The game is mid.

Some games provoke anger, some wither you with grind, some giving you delight, but this one gave me nothing.

Gameplay is...mid. It's somewhat metroidvania (which is boring, and sometimes even tedious), somewhat platformer (same thing) somewhat fighting game (completely generic). As much as I love this combination, this game wasn't entertaining for me.

Porn is mid. Again, everything is generic. Even the models and animations - nothing hits the eye. And that's always a shame for a hentai game.

Like, I get it - it's not THAT horrible, it's not that hard or grindy, and I remember that something from this game was fappable, but overall...just meh. Nothing to mention, nothing to scold, nothing to praise.

This shit is fucking horrible. First, games with no config/settings, fuck that shit. Games with forced music you cant disable without alt-fucking-tabbing out and lowering the volume for that app or lowering your entire system volume, fuck that. Games that force fullscreen, fuck that. This is just a huge pile of "fuck that".

Totally shit controls. Very poor animations / styles / variations. not worth downloading, let alone spending time on this. could be great if the controls / interface get redone and better quality animations and variations are added / replaced. oh well.

A decent game. The scenes are nice and fluid, and the map movement gives a nice platform feel. However, there's still some clunkiness into it.

Also, the game is extremely bad at giving directions, which sometimes makes it pretty hard to know where to go or how to escape. Even with easy option is hard to not get lost. Same for saying where you should go next to advance in story when you aren't in a maze.

The game griding is pretty fair, and the game MTL, although MTL, is still readable.

For the interspecies pregnancy lovers (like myself), the game only has one scene at the very end, doesn't have any kind of gameplay option. So don't expect that.

The plot at the end was a nice twist, but got me salty since the MC dies in the end and that's it. The ending by itself was already sad, but without even a small epilogue gives a sour taste when ending the game. The scene makes sense, but I would prefer another option to end at least.

Overall, it's a fun game to play and pass time. Just don't expect an extremely polished game. But even with the fact that it didn't have pregnancy gameplay like I expected, it still was enjoyable. Hope at least the clunkiness is fixed along with a bigger variety of enemies to be a great game.

Zombie Sex and Virus Reincarnation made me annoyed.

I like the art; the models are attractive and the animation evocative. I found it disappointing that the camera seemed to want to distance itself as much as possible.

The MTL made the writing incomprehensible and the camera kept wandering out making the text unreadable. Dark blue on black for some lines definitely didn't help. I kept getting wingdings interwoven in the dialog and didn't want to read the backstory of a porn game enough to figure out a fix.

Sex cures zombies in this universe. Too bad I find the idea of undead-boning squicky. If it had been tentacles or monsters this'd been two stars higher.

The gameplay has issues; there're no iFrames so bosses and traps can stunlock the MC, or bounce her through walls, or generally be annoying.

TLDR: gimme my time back.

A solid game. Control is good, the gameplay simple enough just slash, slash, and slash. The only problem is the MTL. I hope someday the real english version will be released. If you wanna play the MTL version, it is not too hard to understand but many of the sentences are still untranslated.

I went in kinda expecting a low budget, low effort lazy cash grab, but I was quite wrong. The control is fluid, and the sex animations are excellent. Sex scenes are not just a few frames of looped animation as is typically the case with this kind of games, instead the scenes are pretty dynamics. Although I do think the game is unnecessarily long-winded and there aren't that many scenes.

This is a game that has some good parts, but an absolute ton of terrible parts mixed in with it... I'm not sure if I could recommend it unless you really enjoy platforming games, or if you need something that will last a good 2-3 hours.

PROS

- The art style is strange, but it's acceptable.
- The game doesn't require grinding much at all, especially if you take the money easy mode option at the beginning


CONS

- The game itself is really bad about giving directions, and almost every dungeon has a really bad "maze-like" style to it that makes it almost impossible to traverse.

- I do not know if this game has multiple endings, but the one I got was incredibly boring and, as a bonus, also softlocked the game.

- Bosses and a lot of combat encounters are not very balanced whatsoever. The final boss is an absolute mess unless you defeat him using h animations (which is the easiest method for virtually any boss).

- The game has an incredibly bad habit of not explaining where you need to go, and this can and will get you lost repeatedly.

- the MTL fine, but takes forever to load each line of text. This is probably the least problematic part of the game.

- If you are here because of the pregnancy tag, it is ending only.


Overall, the game is.... fine? It's a game that at the very least isn't too much trouble to complete the gallery in. Feel free to play it, but I won't say I was entirely disappointed or surprised by the game. It functions just barely enough for it to work until the end.

A very convoluted game for those wishing for anything to bust a nut to. You won't find pleasure here, all you will find is a horribly done mtl that absolutely screws you when it comes to advancement of the game. On top of that the game in itself is abysmal. Sex lasts but a few seconds with utterly censored actions, and your only positive sex action is a footjob. I'm willing to bet there are actually more sex actions but this game is too terrible to tell you if there are or how to use them.

Not only is the game horrid because of the mtl, but the game in itself is pretty terrible too. Go with any other side scroller and have a lot more fun, this is trash.

I'm surprised, normally I am not a big fan of games with this art style because it looks janky but it played really well and the art style was surprisingly good!

I would recommend giving this game a shot and possibly buying it.
