RPGM - Completed - Zombie's Retreat [v2.1.1] [Siren's Domain]

I would have given this a 4.5/5 but since that's not possible I rounded up to 5 stars.

I liked that other than boss fights, the combat was mostly optional and it's entirely skill based (as in the player's skill). There's no need to grind for stats and I felt that the grind for resources wasn't that much either.

A minor gripe is that you pretty much have to examine everything the first time you enter a room to find all the resources there. Afterwards you can just check the salvage bin every 2 days since resources don't respawn outside of it.

Finally finished it, gonna give it 3/5. Amazing game from start to finish, big fan of Scarlettann's art. Lots of characters to meet and fuck. My favourite has to be Leslie, especially with the Queen cosplay. The special events was kinda a nice flavour. Meeting the Town of Passion's MC was a nice surprise, love that game a lot.

There's some minus with the game like you can't really fuck anyone in the house or around the house at morning or day time even tho everyone knows you fuck. Also, you can't party up and take someone to their room to fuck which is really weird, you can't fuck Natasha in the house either somehow. You can't just take anyone to the car or the tent to fuck or even outdoor (only some characters are allowed), kinda disappointing. Lastly, the most disappointing was for threesome which you can only fuck 1 girl, and foursome which was just a blowjob.

Overall great game but definitely needs more freedom with the girls.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this game!!! It's easily my favorite ERPG!

Art:
Scarlet Ann is the artist, so all of the character art is sublime. Every woman in this game is busty and breathtakingly beautiful. All of the sex scenes are animated and beautifully rendered 10/10

Story:
There is a "Main Story" but mostly you'll be following the storyline of each individual survivor at your base. I think this is a good way to do it since the game focuses mostly on you building relationships with the women at the base while you build your harem. There are a TON of interactions/scenes in this game with all of the different women in the game

Gameplay:
Gameplay is pretty straightforward: you need to collect ammo for your gun to defend yourself (and your women) against zombies, while also gathering plenty of supplies like food, water, wood, etc. in order to survive. This system is mostly fine, but the scavenging can get a little tedious at times. Build a garden and water collector and upgrade them as soon as possible

Gameplay is at first cool, but gets very grindy and unfun. It was really annoying having to constantly walk around and rotate between resource points, until I eventually gave up and cheated the resources in (playing normally would have probably taken me 2+ hours longer).
The scenes are fine, though due to the AI, sometimes the body proportions look really weird (giant boobs and body, tiny face). Also the author really likes covering half the womans body with the guys back, it would have been nice if there was an option to make the protagonists body transparent, since I don't wanna look at a guys ass the entire scene.
Story is pretty decent, though normal zombies would have been more interesting.

Overall it's rather meh, towards the bottom part of decent rpgms

The first thing that popped out to me when i played this game is just how smooth everythings. From both gameplay, progression and story. And when it comes to the story, i would say its pretty interesting and fun, if a bit uninspired. One thing that falls flat though is the characters. Sure, they have characters and personality, but not in the physical sense. All the bodies feel like they were drawn with the exact same proportions and then got some decorations added onto them.

The gameplay is well made, its a perfect mix of game and sex in my opinion. Not too much of one or the other at the same time. Although i will complain that it gets stale at the mid-to-end gamepoint.

Overall a pretty unique RPGM game that was somewhat well executed. Too many small flaws to mention that drop this down to a 4/5 rating.

I am halfway through the game, and I can say with confidence that this is the only jrpg that i like the movement is fluid and after tinkering with settings and key bindings its downright playable the plot is good, I like the characters. the option to put in relations manually is an interesting touch i think was put in to make wincest optional the gameplay is kind of neat MAKE SAVES! the girls are nice, and the boss fights are quite fun! all in all great experience can't wait to play the sequel.

So first time I tried a game from this dev. It was a good experience. Mostly bug-free and of good quality. I liked the setting and art and gave it a try. It seems to be part of a larger universe, but I will only play this entry.

Story :
Nothing much to say. It's okay. A zombie apocalypse happens. Women are targeted, so you have to save them and survive. The story takes a to link to the other games.

Gameplay : So the main gameplay loop is to gather resources, use these resources to craft some items and unlock H-scenes and areas. The first time you go through an area you just interact with everything that looks like it could contain resources, then you go back every 2 days to gather resources from the salvage points (redbins). So like on days 20,22,24... Some easy puzzles are contained in the main story. Some easy boss fights are also found in the side quests for women you can interact with. Don't expect a managment game !

Character Design : It's good ! All the harem members are quite attractive. The problem is that they are quite similar. A really similar body type. They seem like a reskin of the same model with different skin tones, clothes and hairstyles. They just fall short of the booby monster type. Exaggerated but still passable. The MC also got a pass from me. He is just out of the Shota zone. Still too young for me. But better than what you can see in the dev other games.

H content and art : The art is good all around. Some scenes lack a little in quality compared to others. All are a little animated. Great thing. Almost everything is some vanilla love. Don't expect much more than Missionary or Cow girl reproductive sex. It's mostly one on one with one or two scenes by characters where they share the MC. You have some "really light femdom" with some characters. But also some submissive partners.

A minimal amount of monster girl content. No NTR at all. Some implied impregnation (For two characters at least) but nothing show that fact in the rest of the game. A huge Focus on incest. Three characters have almost a double or triple number of scenes than the others. You can see the intended roles for the family by using the "Cheat rock" in the game. You can find the walkthrough on the main page (It lacks one or two scenes at most).

Tips : I finished the entire game in about 10 hours and 30 in-game days by taking my time.
Don't worry too much about resource gathering. I didn't try the hard difficulty, but in the end, you have more than enough resources. Just do all the salvage points every two days. You will only fear running out in the first few days.
Craft the resources gathering tools when you can (try to have two of each on you). They help with your collection during your scavenging run. Same thing for resource collecting "buildings". They can carry your game by the end of the game. Craft them as soon as possible.
You don't have to kill all the zombies, they drop nothing and are easily avoidable. Keep your bullets at the beginning. Later, you unlock the wooden bat, which has no ammo or durability to worry about. You will then only use your guns on bosses.
To see the Impregnation scenes, when the game ask you if you want to continue the scenes. Accept.

That is basically it. It's a good game all-around. Just a little outside my fetish zone. Hope the Dev continue his games. A sequel is on the road.

Great overall game. Gameplay is not difficult and fun to play. The game has great pacing, scenes throughout the whole story. Characters are interesting and each feels unique. Fun overall experience, definitely recommend.

Gameplay is better than most other but the scenes are not great and not plenty. And it does get pretty repeatitive, which isn't a big deal, but when the gameplay is the sole thing carrying the game and not the scenes it becomes more of a problem. Nothing at all spectacularly bad, or particularly good.

Remarkable game, even iconic if can be said. It felt like a long game, with long story, so i'll point out only the things i disliked(or could've been a bit different) about the game. It will be faster and easier.

- First of all, i find the grind slow and boring. It's important for any 2dcg game to find a way to keep you interensted in it aswell, alongside the story progress, but here it's just too blunt and repetitive. If instead of finding the goods on the same spots, in the same amount, and even fighting zombies spawning on the same spots, little variety could've been perfect. Atleast there's cheats, so i focused only on the game story. So it's not a big deal, but feels like a missed oportunity for more.

- I love the drawing overall, actually so realistic and accurate, with exception on their boobs size. In most games, it's either their boobs or the MC have 30 cm. long schlong which actually can stay erect. And as a bonus to fit inside the whole just like that, without killing her. I actually can't get over it sometimes. But atleast they have charm, so it saves the day.

- Not a fan of so many characters introduction, when there's only by 1 sex scene for some of them. I don't see the point, if feel meaningless. You can't build any liking to the characters like that, when on your second interaction with some, it's already their sex scene. If the game kept it more compress, only focused slowly the build around the mother, sister, and some other characters necessary for the story, it would've been really way more captivating.

- The auto-saving messed up my saves. Until i realise the game auto-save each new day automatically over your last save, it was too late. I don't know if it's some mistake with the last game updates or intentional, but atleast an option to disable the auto-saving could've been of help here.

- It's a game about zombies, i love everything about them. But here i didn't felt the thrill, only, until some in the late stages of the game. Somehow if the fear of them or the consequences of such outbreak were enclosed better into the story or into the characters and their dialogs, it would've been something different for good.
I feel like it's rare to find good 2dcg games, there's always something mess'd up about them, but this one stood up among the best ones, no doubt, even thou i would've liked those few things i mentioned to be a bit different. Definitely worth attention and trying!

I'll be quick as it is one of the first +18 games I played, I give it a good rating, I had good moments and the story itself is not that bad, it's a shame it's short, but being short it's good for those looking for something quick. For me it is a game that I recommend.

The only thing I didn't like is that the +18 scenes have no context, that is, there is no reason why those scenes are there.

Definitely would recommend. Nostlalgic for me as it's one of my first hentai games played. Big-titted women in a zombie filled world? Count me in! The gameplay is actually really fun and it's more than just a harem simulator. You should definitly give it a try!

I give this a 3 only because it's unique.

There is no RPGM combat, instead, you run around the map shooting zombies. The movement is your typical tile based RPGmaker game and you can only shoot up, down, left, and right. While not overwhelmingly fun, it's different and serviceable. Whilst killing zombies, you go to predetermined loot spots that respawn every 2 days in order to keep your supplies up. You can also use certain supplies to create tools to get supplies from other sources as well that also respawn every 2 days. Basically every 2 days you run this loop around the campground to keep your supplies up. You also can spend time advancing the plot to open up new areas and girls.

That's basically your core gameplay loop. It can get monotonous.

The story is serviceable. Interesting enough to hook you for a bit, but that's about it. The characters on the other hand are terrible. Just your average braindead cock hungry porn logic characters.

The art is basically what you see in the banner. There are slightly animated scenes. As a personal gripe, I'm not a huge fan of inhumanly massive tits/ass and/or extreme body proportions. I don't personally know anyone that actually is. Yet here we are with a game that has nothing but.

It doesn't do anything outright bad and the gameplay separates it from most other porn games, so you'll either enjoy it or get a lukewarm feeling like I did.

Simple but fun gameplay. If it gets boring and repetitive, you can just play on a higher difficulty. Wish there were more scenes for some of the girls but the scenes that are there are great. Excited for the sequel!

One of the best games ever made. Everything is immersive and well thought . 100/100 story. Hope they make another but till now wasn't very pleased with the results. Maybe some some NTR would have made this game even nastier

All the girls look almost exactly the same, especially body type wise. If that's your favorite size of boobs, this game was perfect, but I would have liked some variety.
This might just be a mobile issue but the controls were too unruly against bosses and I ended up just having to use the easy cheats to face tank them all

Overall a really nice game with good length and plentiful in scenes. Just would like to see more variety in the girls and less choppy animation, but these are minor gripes for an overall fun game.
