RPGM - Completed - Zombie's Retreat [v2.1.1] [Siren's Domain]

I'm 100% sure this game is inspired by A Zombie's Life by Nergal's Nest. The story is more or less the same with a couple of exceptions. I'm not saying it's a bad thing though. What's that saying? If it ain't broke, don't fix it right?

A few things that the devs need to improve though is looting. If a player wants to conserve ammo by sneaking their way to a loot box, they should have an option to cancel the loot at a moments notice; I've been killed a dozen times because I snuck my way to a box thinking that the zombies wouldn't bother me once I initiate looting. But, what happened was I got paralyzed and all the Z's started swarming me and when I finally got all the loot, they all fucking bit me at once and then GAME OVER.

Next is the cut to black scene when the MC cums. I mean, how hard is it to animate a cum scene without cutting it? It ruins the moment when you're about to cum (In real life) and then there's a 1.5 second delay until you finally see the MC and women orgasm.

So, as of now, I would give the game a 7/10. It's still BETA, so I know this has a lot of potential.

EDIT 1: I just wish the devs would create an option to tone down the boob size to "normal" levels. I don't have anything against those who want ginormous boobies but I like to play the game with "realistic" women if you know what I mean.

Plus, would it be possible to get H scenes with the zombies? Like when they catch your women you get a short game over scene? That would be a plus! I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate this add on, no?

A great star with a lot of potential.

As a '' spiritual continuation '' of A zombie life, ZR does not disappoint in any moment. The creator was able to hire ScarlettAnn for art and bring a new mechanic to this game.

The story is simple at first, just a boy who got stuck in a camp with two women (assuming that they are his mother and his sister) during a zombie epidemic.

The performance flows well and is mixed with the new mechanic that every update is improving. The RPG Maker changeover was also a good choice, from VX to MV.

As for the main part, the H-Scenes: All are very good, Siren's Domain really knew how to use the art of ScarlettAnn and put a good animation + sounds.

I guarantee that anyone who plays, will have fun and a good time. heh

I personally really like the whole zombie genre and this game is a shining example of it. It's still in its early stages but is showing a lot of promise. The gameplay is well balanced, the story is captivating, and the art is great (as in I like it). Last but by no means least, the game has been regularly updated so far which is a huge plus. I am looking forward to future updates. I highly recommend this game.

Like the art style. I played the other games and it has a similar concept. Just hoping this one does not get dropped. Anticipating more content in the future. Hopefully more expansion on the map and more special bosses in the near future.

Game's pretty much a carbon copy of A Zombie's Life. It borrows way too many elements, from story, to gameplay, to even the characters. The first two characters you recruit involve saving your Aunt/Camp Counselor who is trapped in an infested building and a chick holed up in a shack that you have to trade items with before they join you. What more do I need to say? The game pretty much piggy backs off of Nergal's original game, having only a few minor changes and improvements. For these reasons, the game doesn't really stand out. Nonetheless, borrowing so much from Nergal's game also means that much of it is as familiar and just as enjoyable. If Siren can mold the game into something distinct, it would be more deserving than a meager 3 stars.

For being in it's young stage this game has a decent bit of content and is very well thought out. The graphics are good and even has you laughing quite a few times. If you want to try a fresh new game than it should be this one friends..

To be honest, this isn't the best game on the site, far from it, but it has charmed me, siren's domain again hits hard with their "no, this isn't incest, what do you mean you typed mom?" it's adorable. scarlet's art is a bit subjective, but i can't ever turn down gargantuan gazongas. the presentaiton is very well made, the game is easy but not for retards, and hard but not "saveeditonline" hard. The zombos are right about avoidable enough to not make the game frustrating and the limited ammo suits well a survival game. i also love the fact that you can starve to death.
Needs to get finished tho, because the 6 scenes and the few events really don't last long.
It's decently written and it's animated, and that's enough for me to say: it's a good game i would love to see it completed.

It is still early in the game and needs more updates since it is only about 10 minutes worth of content but it looks like it should be a good game.

I am a Siren's Domain Fan. What can I say, I like the Story and the Artwork equally. Creating a new Game Project while one is currently on-going is perhaps a mistake.

I can deal with a staggered two-month release cycle as long as the content update is at least One and a Half to two times what it would have been for a one-month release cycle.

This project is very early in its development cycle. Some of the artwork is a little rough at times. it's a hyper-stylized art style and all, but greater care could be taken by the artist and animator to smooth it all over. Give it a bit more polish and fit well together.

It's very clear that this game and Siren's Domain is Inspired by "A Zombies Life" nor is Siren Hiding that fact. On a number of occasions, I have seen this, and Siren has stated that one of the game features in the Previous game "Town of Passion" is a straight up nod to "A Zombies Life"

This to me is not a bad thing. I was kinda digging the inspiring game and found it a bit buggy and unfinished but otherwise good despite nearly a year or so final release date.

I am a supporter on Patreon to both Siren's Domain games. I hope that over time this review can get that final star, but as it sits this is just good in my honest opinion.

I will keep track of this one for sure....
