I was trying to search for the game A Zombie's Life and when I did I found this game and never got the one that I search for. I wonder what happened to it.

That game got pulled from F95, you can see if the old files are on Lewdzone?

Also, you can search the game and the version you'd like... you may have better luck.

The game is fine as it is, it's just in the beginning phase of its life, and reviewing it seems counterproductive, but I had to place a review to counter the two before this, cause they missed the mark on and reviewed a product that's practically in early Alpha or a demo. There are good concepts here, and finally, another survival management game, and so far, there are good ideas here that the dev is building upon. Some adjustments need to be made, but those will be made later. So I suggest everyone to chill and let the dev cook.

I completely agree with you but even if it's a Demo or Alpha the content is pretty poor currently and should've cooked a little longer before even releasing it.

Additionally Reviews are both there for Users and Devs to understand what's good and if it has key issues, If no one points out the Issues the Dev is likely to ignore it.

And I admit when look at it, My own review was really harsh, I will defnitely adjust it.

From what I've seen from the author, this game, despite being inspired by others, could have more scene variety.

I'll wait about three updates before starting to play.

I only just found this game when I went looking for updates to ToD. I guess the art style looks so different was because ToD was done by a different artist, and I heard the dev and artist had a falling out? Anyway, nice to see them working on a new game, although I don't think I've enjoyed any of these 'zombie survival games' yet.

Yeah this is a whole different artist, I don't remember the name but on the discord Blue Bone mentioned who was the new one

Sorry to bother you. Given your heavy participation in discussions on F95, I’d like to clarify the full history of BLUE BONE

From what I found, Tail of Desire began development sometime between 2018 and 2019 (possibly earlier than 2018).
Originally there were only two members: Asa and an unnamed programmer
Initially Asa was the lead in development and the main artist

, an artist named POPYZSN also once participated in the development of Tail of Desire
But it’s not hard to imagine that POPYZSN’s involvement was very brief, to the extent that no CGs by POPYZSN appear in the final Tail of Desire, and another character even doesn’t appear in the released version

Original tweet content:
My game has another excellent painter to participate! This is his role!

The quoted content of this tweet:
Looking forward to it~

On January 29, 2020, BLUE BONE’s Patreon was launched:
(that post has since been deleted)
The development process continued until the last public version released on

However, in a Patreon post titled on June 1, 2022 (that post has since been deleted)
Asa admitted he was unable to carry out the initial grand plans for Tail of Desire
Though he mentioned reaching consensus with the programmer, many features—such as a good feeling system and evil value system—were adjusted or removed because they were incomplete or difficult to fully implement, making the game more like what we now play. The conflict between the two may have become irreconcilable around that point

In a FANBOX post dated May 26, 2023, titled (that post has since been deleted)
At first, I thought the characters shown might be new additions to Tail of Desire, but based on later developments, it seems that by this time Asa had already had a complete falling out with the programmer
So those characters were likely not entirely new, but redesigns of existing Tail of Desire characters — likely to avoid any potential copyright issues.

On January 31, 2024, in a FANBOX post titled (that post has since been deleted)
I believe this was the first time Asa publicly discussed the idea of a sequel to Tail of Desire on a relatively open platform (though I’m not sure whether he had already mentioned it in more private spaces like Discord)
In that post, he wrote:
I'm going to redesign TOD, but maybe the name of the new version of the game that's officially remade won't be called TOD.
This can be taken as near-confirmation that Asa chose to redesign all characters to avoid any copyright disputes with the programmer.

On January 17, 2024, in a Patreon post titled (that post has since been deleted):
Asa again mentioned the Tail of Desire sequel, stating:
There were pros and cons, but I wasn't able to continue to improve TOD0 due to various personal factors.
In my future plans, I intend to rewrite some of TOD's settings and characters.
It seems that at this point, Asa hadn't completely given up on the idea of redesigning Tail of Desire
But it was already clear that in order to avoid further conflicts with the programmer, the sequel would likely not reuse large portions of the original game's content

Then, on May 29, 2024, Asa admitted in his personal Discord server in the ask‑asanasu channel:
We can also guess that during 2023–2024, BLUE BONE’s Patreon was fully run by the programmer, and Zombies & Utopia was developed by the programmer and another artist you mentioned—Asa was not part of it

So is that generally the correct sequence of events? (My research is incomplete, and I omitted many drama details I couldn’t reliably verify, to keep the narrative close to known facts.)

Yeah that's basically all that happened, some things that can be add are the information in the discord server that has already been deleted. There he used to post lots of WIPs (That in the end were completed by the programmer) and talk with some of the patreons about things like future proyects and re designs. If I'm correct about the time that all the idea of the redesign came out, most of the fans where kinda against it because the artstyle was kinda different and because other things (No english update, incomplete game, etc) and also because some people were feed up with the slow updates, sometimes an update just for a new scene and some new story could take like 3 months and it wasn't helping that Asa was 24/7 playing MW2 I think. Asa did want to redesign almost everything and even the good and bad system was added in 0.8 but I guess he was just too greedy at what he wanted the game to be but at the same time kinda lazy for the really slow updates
