It's the typical Ren'Py VN with multiple choices and routes. The writing is great.

I see a lot of potential in this game. and the developer is involved and has followed the wishes of the followers.

I really like the Corruption tags, and this is one of the best games in this genre.

Overall, it's okay. The art's a nice change from the super-samey 3dcg or anime-style art that makes up most VNs.

The major issues I have are that 1) although there are several endings, they're all basically the same--it's always the same dude and 2) it's hella short.

I would have liked to see more options, like a gangbang, lesbian, public use, etc. and let the story play out over more nights (not counting the bonus scene).

Ok i have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by Shards of her.

Incessant Use of DOF most of the renders have DOF. He creates beautiful environments and they are all obscured by DOF

Plays in the future with elements of Cybernetic enhancement. And Creature as old as time or even before the beginning of time.

Gameplay is okay. You can have upgrades and stuff. NTR is unavoidable but who plays for that at all. This is the best NTR game. The woman is also the best. I like em big. Sometimes finding her is a little difficult but not too much trouble overall.

It might not be GOTY, but this deserves credit for creativity alone. Bravo! Childhood warnings passed down from scared parents of being snatched off the street by a van will forever be rebranded Tentacle Van in my memories.

WHAT THE FUCK MAN it's so fucking sweet like holy shit, I know that I was malding in the thread replies because I thought they changed the artist. Turns out it was not the case. The standing picture made me think that they did (and in my defense, it is goddamn ugly), but after actually playing the game, the vibe is similar to their previous game. A fucking MASTERPIECE. Classic LPULY. The slow burn. The slow fucking burn is so working on me it started doing some overtime. Chigusa slowly building a loving, caring, and MASSIVE reverse harem while being an absolute dumfuck is sooo self-insert-able ...wholesome. Yeah, good for her I'd say, haha... god i wish that were me The story in itself is uninspired to say the least. Like, the big stereotypical magical girl. Shit is just kinda overused, but for a hentai game? It's good enough. It's MTL, but basic japanese skill, blah blah, you get the idea. Some mistranslation does made me giggle though. Ahn - Bean paste, I've done it - I goofed, pronoun mixing, and "spreading my dick".

Gameplay 5/5
Massive W. Really fun and unique. I tried playing on hard the first time and I'm raking my brain out to try to unstuck myself. Unfortunately, the miss RNG is pissing me off so I switched to "slug". That and I'm a scrub at strategy games. Yes, I am a dumbass, yet I still enjoy playing and strategizing the attack, positioning, and skill building part. Definitely worth playing. More so if you like those type of games.

Where's the game? There's a scene where you can only touch the transparency of the clothes and there isn't even a penetration scene... do you want a story? There isn't either... So what's in this game? I personally don't know... there are transparent clothes and hands touching the girl and that's it.

Overall: 2/5 - It seems like the developer started out with an idea and just rushed it out the door. The only thing that's really good about this game is the fancy user interface. The UI is really well done, but it's almost completely wasted since there are hardly any gaming elements.

Story: 2/5 - Your father is missing and you're trying to find him. The premise is not original, but it's fine for a porn game. Unfortunately, the execution of the story is terrible.

Writing: 1/5 - It's terrible. It feels like it was written by a pre-teen girl. There are lots of spelling and grammar errors in the translation, too. It's painful to read.

Renders: 3/5 - The models are average. Most characters shown are sprites over sterile backgrounds. Lighting and reflections are poor.

Animations: 4/5 - The animations during sex scenes are just average. The idle animations are a nice touch, though. Things like characters breathing, the plants swaying with the wind, the fan turning, etc.

Content: 2/5 - You can play through the entire game in about 30 minutes if you actually read everything. There's really not much content. You only get about 6 sex scenes in a playthrough. The quality of the sex scenes is poor, too. It's just kind of random sex and not erotic at all.

Gameplay: 1/5 - It seems like it was designed to be a game, but the actual gaming elements were never implemented, except for a few choices, and the pointless clicking during the sex scenes. The sandbox is 100% linear. There's a notebook where you conduct your "investigation." Players are never given any instructions on how to use the notebook, but it doesn't seem to have any impact, anyway. The choices impact what scenes you get, but you have to guess at what impact they actually will have. The game is designed to be played multiple times to get different scenes and endings, but I doubt most players will bother.

Bugs: 5/5 - I didn't encounter any bugs, which is impressive given how much is going on in the user interface.

The game is a middling MUGEN beat up game. There is about 3 animations that work when it comes to getting grappled. The download size is reasonable for the amount of content you get, and that is not saying as much. My review has as much content as this game has. I suggest skipping this one for now.

So I can't rate the full version but my rating is for this demo.

The animation and looks to the original SoR is top notch.

I'd five star is as it looks and seems like it is a 5 star project. However like I said this rating is for this demo. The demo does not tell you you can't progress in anything. The arcade the enemy never takes damage so that stage is all you get. So no point in other modes. The inability to face the direction of your choosing is damn infuriating! I take a star off for that alone. It makes sense in a 2d battle versus game. However if facing MORE then one enemy..... I really should not need to explain why it would be annoying AF to not turn to face the 5+ enemies behind you..... :/

The story is hilarious, anything like this in the west would have been automatically cancelled. It is so crude it makes you laugh!
I have been getting new units by capturing the enemy and moving forward, for now it is a novelty, might change the rating later if it gets boring but it is deffo worth a try, still having fun after a few hours

For Version: 0.4b

The visuals are great, progression feels satisfying, the quests are described very well and I doubt many people will get lost. For an earlier version it has way more content than I expected and it is very polished. The story that is set up is very little (at least for now). Most of what I would call a story is your developing relationship with the girls and Kurt/Nightcrawler. If you are looking for a big narrative this is not the game, yet.

This is the beginning of an amazing game with an immense potential and I hope it doesn't go squandered.

The game that started it all. I think this one is honestly one of the best ones in the series, the sex scenes are not anything like the new ones. They aren't bad but older for sure but still have some charm to them.

What made this game good was the atmosphere. Unlike practically all the new games, this one was entirely done in one location, the atmosphere was amazing. Dripping in mystery and puzzles. I think while the expansion in sequels to other areas makes the games feel bigger, this one did such a good job to make one location work really well.

I would relate it to the first resident evil. There is some excitement to figure out the whole location, see where the story goes, you have no idea about anything so everything is new. Where as in the newer games you have some idea.

The characters are pretty well done, the clashes between parties feels more realistic, regular people with real goals and fears. Instead of dodging cults and situations that should definitely get you killed you are arguing and blackmailing and exposing lies. Comes across as a competent murder mystery game.

The sequels are all good but this one did story and atmosphere the best.

I played the new version with visualization (v3.0.0) and couldn’t resist writing a short review.

Pros:
+ Good text.
+ Different endings depending on the player's choices during the game.
+ Added illustrations to almost every slide (even if the art is not of the best quality, it may not be suitable for those who have not seen old porn games).
+ The events are very well written.
+ Small weight of the game (you know those games that weigh 5 GB and have zero events? Everything is different here).
+ The author has experience creating similar games.

Cons:
- A small number of events.
- Visualization is not for everyone.
- Personally, I didn’t have enough variety in fetishes, but this is a matter of taste.

Why 5 out of 5? For me, the pros far outweigh the cons.

I think the best part of this game is that it doesn't overstay its welcome. It sets out to tell a story, does that really well, and doesn't bloat the story at all to milk any patreon money.

All the renders are top notch, all the characters are interesting and different. Though some are invested in way more than others. The sex scenes are great with the sisters getting the most of the bunch. They are all well done.

The story was funny, interesting, and had a lot of fun easter eggs. Sucks there wasn't any content for all the girls at the same but the epilogue was still amazing.

The game is more focused and pee stuff and exhibition... more hardcore stuff like scat and insect are present but you can skip the scenes. Such content are clearly advertised. So I didn't give a poor note for that.

However, there is strong shota content and there is no Tag about that.

I hoped for more sex and corruption but there is very few of the former and none of the latter. It made me sad , but I didn't gave a poor note about that, neither. I just my personnal taste about a game.

What I found below average :
- Gameplay : each day are repetitive and you have very few control about events. I suspect events are triggered by time factor and clothes you bought. Some events are linked to other.
- Graphism : A little below average. Quite repetitive.
- No stories and characters without souls.

It's really solid, the MC has a real character, and isn't meant to be the usual perverted self insert. Story is good so far, no real signs of any over arching plot yet. Worldbuilding is interesting, there is a lot of room for cool alien species.

The relationship pacing is fast, so fast it was pretty jarring at times. Going from not knowing the MC, to loving him in what seems less than 10 days, it felt like there are some bonding moments that got missed along the way.

Ultimately the best part of this VN is the story, setting, and characters. The story is open ended, allowing for it to go in whatever direction the dev wants, the setting is cool, and the characters have room to grow.

Really good open world game. Right up my alley. Constantly being updated, to the point where it's not back-of-mind in a landscape that's pretty inundated with games sort of like these. I'm really excited to see how the dev keeps going with it. Even when you get to the end of quest hooks (for now), you still feel like playing.

Probably the most overrated hentai game of all time. It's basically a headpat simulator.

You spam the chat and headpat buttons until shit happens.

And you gotta be careful to spam both enough or you get a game over cuz she gets sick and dies.

At the start you're given the illusion of choice of being able to treat her well or treat her like a sex slave, but if you don't treat her well she just kills herself.

So basically there's only one route through the game. And that route is to spam the chat and headpat buttons until at some point after few hours of doing it something might maybe happen.

Pure fuckin garbage. Sure the game's name is teaching feeling, but what's the point of having multiple choices if there is only really ever one choice?
