There's a difference between good drama and bad drama. People aren't complaining because the drama in BaDIK is the good kind. A lot of it is shoehorned just for the sake of it, without any realistic justification in-story.
Can you give examples of where you believe this to be the case?

I didn't rat on Chad & Troy to either Josy or Sage. I believe it's Chad's prerogative to say something. Let him face the music and not have it be traced back to the MC. It's his choice to make whether he wants to or not. I have a feeling it has to happen anyway, if that is indeed why Troy got kicked out of the Alphas

But Sage needs to know the real reason why things happened the way they did, it's not anyone else's place to say something but his own. Don't want the MC being the reason why Chad gets humiliated campus-wide. That's my take on it. I defended the guy during the Counselor meeting. And then, in turn, he got the other Alpha off my MC's back at the dorm bash party. That's even-Steven in my book.

No point throwing gas on a fire that's more or less burnt itself out
Good answer. I believe that you are right and I fuckep up now :ROFLMAO:

Sometimes I don't understand this good/bad system, It is understandable that smoking weed on the roof can be considered a good/bad action, but why banging the teacher who shows interest in you is seen as a bad choice, she is the mom of our rival(sort of) if you are on the Jill\Bella route, bj scene with Cathy in the car did not have this dik\chick choice at all.

I dont get it.
The Affinity system doesn't make a lot of sense on close examination, but it's not meant to be about good and bad per se. Either way the MC is a fundamentally decent guy, he just has the usual inexperience of youth. The Affinity system is supposed to be a simple indication of how the MC faces his uncertainties: CHICKs are more calm and introspective, DIKs are brash and action-oriented. And filthy Neutrals try to split the difference. ;)

The problem with the system is that, as you noted, there's no clear explanation for why some decisions are more "major" than others. I guess you could say starting something with Jade is more Major than with Cathy because Jade is in person and she's largely motivated by spite whereas Cathy only starts as sexting and Cathy is as much about loneliness as it is about lust. There's some truth in that. But Jade also has some genuine soul bearing with the MC and Cathy is clearly playing up the forbidden angle, so I don't really think that's a satisfying answer.

I downloaded the saves from OP and I have a question
How can I change the name?
Because from the new phone I have the option to change the name, but how do I change it from the old phone
Prior to Episode 7, you can change the MC's name by clicking on the three dots in the top right of the Bio screen on the old phone.
Name_change_1.jpg Name_change_2.jpg

Bella awakening her sexuality has been a pretty big part of her story arc.

The intro to this episode says how adventurous she was sexually in the past (even in public) but something at some point changed and she became the “ice queen”. The MC awakens something in her again (early on she masturbates and comments how no man has made her feel this way in a long time) and the finale of this episode has her back to being sexual.

I think this is more what Bella is like. Fucking on the kitchen table is Bella now she’s gotten over whatever was keeping her the way she was at the start of the story.
This is what the old Bella was like. The real question is whether that's better than the Bella we meet when the game starts. She changed for some reason, and we now know the change predates the collapse of her marriage. Reverting Bella to her younger, wilder self could be helping her get over some sort of trauma, or it could be regressing into something she was trying to move beyond.

Personally, I'm still really uncomfortable with the Bella romance. Her rumination on how urges can't be resisted, and her near breakdown when she sleeps with the MC in Episode 6 are serious red flags - to say nothing of the infamous narration if we make out with her in the library in Episode 3. I need to have those concerns addressed before I'd consider pursuing her.

Outside of a run for completionist's sake, obviously. :p

She acted differently once she knew Chad cheated with a man. She believed MC; saying it all made sense. The sole reason she confronted Chad was to hear the words out of his mouth. She asked the same question; who was he cheating on her with. He kept denying but this time she kept her cool and said she believed him. My interpretation is that not that she believed him per se, but rather accepted that he's not ready to come out. His lack of anger when she confessed about her own infidelity was an additional confirmation of his sexuality.

She would understand the difficulty in coming out; after all she's also dealing with another couple who kept their relationship secret.
Yeah, learning Sage knew about Maya and Josy and was eager to help them was a good sign. Still a very tough choice, IMHO.

So I think I have set up all the saves for the next season but I hear there is two different "Others" outcomes. Is that true? I would rather not have to go though again for the time being but I do want everything ready to go even though its months away. This is what I got at the end for my others.

I really wonder what a threesome with Quinn can affect. Judging by the background picture, without Quinn, the relationship is deeper and more sincere, whereas the background picture with a threesome reflects the dark side of Sage and her promiscuity. Will we get two Sage paths? Roughly speaking, Dik Sage and Chick Sage? In fact, this leads me to think that the division by girls will be more than conditional. Most likely, scenes involving different paths will be repeated. As I said, for Sage, college is a place of missed opportunities to embody her sexuality and she wants to catch up. If we constantly support her in this, will it have any effect?

Is there any real consequences of cheating in the midterms
If every other test is anything to go by than no. It won't come up until the next updated or later being that this is just an interlude. But as for cheating I don't think it will effect much but I do think your choice of what to do with the cheat sheet will come into play.

I am a bit confused about affinity and DIK points. I know that affinity determines which LI’s route you can start. But how do DIK points affect the gameplay? Can someone help explain this?
The system is both overly complicated and very poorly explained. First, there are actually two different systems, Status and Affinity. Both systems use the terms CHICK/DIK, but they work differently.

Status is determined by a host of small actions the MC can take, like checking out various girls or cheating at tests (+DIK points), or not checking out girls and passing tests fairly (-DIK points, leading to CHICK status). Status is broken into 3 levels (from least to most extreme: normal, Huge, and Massive), plus Neutral in between. The more positive or negative points you have, the more extreme your Status. Status is mostly about how the MC speaks: dialog with CHICK Status tends to be polite and measured, while DIKs are more crude and profane. Early on in the game, Status was also used to gate certain actions (you need Huge DIK status to check Sage's g-string in Episode 1, for example). By Season 2, however, that has almost vanished and Affinity gates actions instead.

Affinity is the net result of all the "Major Decisions" the MC takes. Each decision removes one box on the opposite side of the status bar: for example, choosing to accept Quinn's restaurant offer in Episode 1 is a DIK major decision, so it removes the outermost box on the CHICK track. Likewise turning down Quinn's offer removes the outermost DIK box. As we proceed through the game, the status bar is thus whittled down over time. Affinity is the net result of those choices. If you have made 2+ more DIK major decisions than you have CHICK major decisions, you gain DIK Affinity, and vice versa. If you have made 0-1 more of one type of decision than the other, you have Neutral Affinity. Unlike Status, there are no further gradations for Affinity.

Starting late in Season 1, Affinity began to take over the role of gating the MC's actions. Showering with Jill in Episode 4 required CHICK Affinity, for example, whereas Quinn will only allow the MC to help her in Episode 6 if he has DIK Affinity (in addition to some other requirements). As a side effect of losing boxes, Affinity can indirectly limit Status: lose enough boxes on the CHICK side, for example, and you can no longer get enough points to become a Massive CHICK. Since Status checks are few and far between these days, this doesn't make much difference unless you run completely out of boxes on one side.

If that happens (which first became possible late in Episode 6), the MC would gain permanent Affinity. This means the MC is no longer capable of making contrary major decisions (though it looks like in Season 3 he will now have a neutral option that's sort of a non-committal answer to the dilemma). If the MC manages to make it to through the final Major Decision in Episode 8 without losing all his CHICK and DIK boxes, he'll gain permanent Neutral Affinity instead.

So that's the system in a nutshell. It's not that Affinity determines which LI routes you can follow directly, more that certain actions can have Affinity requirements (which are often not disclosed to the player), and those actions can be vital to starting (or continuing) a given path.

As I said, I think the system is needlessly complicated and is sufficiently opaque that the game is better if you have a guide or walkthrough to keep track of the requirements. YMMV, but hopefully this gives you some idea how it works.

Okay, so it seems I need one more that's a "others chick". Forget about all the other variations of the choices, I like the game but not that much :p I'd be setting up saves for days.
Yeah, I just checked and it's the same scene whether you pick Jill at breakfast or pick Others.

Here. I did not had time to name the tracks, but it is here. Tell me if you need some pointers.

** It is very possible due to several unstability problems on f95 lately, some of the tracks cannot be uploaded on this post.

Welcome to my little rant about DIK MC and Jill and how DPC IMO completely screwed their storyline. Please read it with open mind and I ecnourage you to discuss it with me. Gonna respond when I finish the episode being really sad. Cheers guys.

And of course someone can come up to me and tell me that Jill was obviously gonna end up only with CHICK MC and I understand the thinking process of DPC behind this decision. DIK has a lot of casual pussy but he will have only Sage and maybe Bella for a main girl. I get it.

That being said from a storytelling perspective in this point of the story, where as a player I'm forced to make this decision, I'm greeted with this narrative.

MC tells Isabella that he cares about Jill (this is an option available only if you're dating Jill), then decided to fight for her with Tybalt. Then there's a scene in her dorm where they have amazing connections but at the end she says "it doesn't seem right" and we don't get CHICK exclusive scene.

From that point game completely forgets about their relationship and almost every next possible interaction with Jill is exclusive to CHICK MC.

Even if I went with her on a date on field where they had plenty of chemistry AND didn't do that dick pick on Tybalt's phone (making her realise MC was swinging a lot) NOTHING CHANGES.

She mentioned once how Rusty was sweet but behaved differently in front of his peers. I assumed that DIK MC would face the same challange while trying to be with her and perhaps even automatically fail in the process.

But no, DIK MC can as much as CHICK help her during her concert making huge storytelling sacrifice of his badass personality to play a beautiful music on guitar just to aid her in this very moment. Nothing changes.

And I want to repeat myself, that there's nothing wrong with making Jill exclusive to CHICK MC. I understand why that would be the case.

But what's frustrating for someone so invested in this story is that as for this moment in my playthough (I stopped just when I saw what MC said and when I checked if stopping MC from snapping dick pick would change anything - it doesn't matter at all, just freaking affinity) there was NO POINT in the story where Jill or MC had a situation in which I can sense MC's words coming

"I've been dating Jill, but we never felt entirely right for each other" Where? The only issue is the fact that DIK MC is a fucking machine and she feels uncomfortable around this topic.

Can someone please explain it to me from a different point of view, make me change my mind or something?

Because it really bothers me, it feels like a plot hole or a rushed plot point where DPC didn't think about including such scene, thinking Jill ignoring us more (which in storyline makes sense, Tybalt is blackmailing her) is the signal for MC that they're not meant for each other.
And after forgeting about that part DPC just wanted to go and make this point in "Crossroads" where players will have to commit to a girl.

Feels like DPC had in mind that DIK MC and Jill aren't meant for each other but forgot to show it through story and dialogue.

Which is a damn shame.

EDIT: Quick edit because I just got to that part. Few scenes later Jill texts MC that she's on a third date with Tybalt and says it wouldn't be the worst thing if this date came to an end thanks to MC. And then MC says something along the lines of "I already made my mind and I don't want to make her hopes up".

So if the dialogue implies that it's MC that made this decision and Jill still has a lot of feelings for him then from which fucking point in the story he assumed that they're not meant for each other. Ah yes from his DIK affinity statistic stuck in his ass.

It's like I understand that Jill wouldn't choose to go all in with DIK MC, I understand that she feels skeptical towards DIK MC but if the choices of "I want to go all in with this girl" is set on MC's feelings only then implying that DIK MC wouldn't feel like going more serious with Jill is fucking bullshit

The entire episode is something truly amazing but this thing with Jill? What a waste...
