Looks goodwith at least an interesting premise, but I'll wait for more content before trying it out. Keeping an eye on this one.

i have downloaded the latest version of the game and everytime i press I in game the game freezes and i have to shut it down via the task manager. is there a fix to it?

edit: i fixed it by creating a shortcut, adding -dx11 and launching the game with the shortcut.

Same. Pressing tab in Sandbox and clicking on any entry in the list also causes a freeze, but I can't even get Task Manager to appear on top of the frozen Wild Life window, necessitating a sign out of my Windows account.

Each minute or less, skin and fur gets screwed on all characters, gets sort of low texture, smearing every detail. What is the cause of that?

is it me or 4 and a half years later it actually has LESS content then the last time i tried this... damn shame because this is still just a glorified tech demo at best, though i really enjoy the flying mechanics they should add a extra game mode just for that with a few obstacles.

I think because they split their focus between sandbox and the game they really want to make. Making an action live rpg is not easy even with veteran team and they are still a bit beginner in the game industry. They are improving in animation department but lack in game play one since it needs a lot of tweaks, and planning. You really need a veteran in the industry to pull this off. I still appreciate them for trying ,but the challenge ahead from environment , battle, narration, mathematical flow logic, and others are very very hard. They need to increase the budget by hiring some advanced programmer and that cost a lot of money.

Oh please stop giving them excuses. I've said this here before I'll say it again. I have a web developer friend irl who have never used unity or unreal engine in his life. Hypothetically speaking, if I were to provide him source of current state of wild life or even source of it from 3 years ago, I am 100% SURE he'd be able to release early access version of the game just in 6 months and fully finished version(version 1.0) in 12 months. And I am not talking about a half-assed job and him calling it finished. I am talking about a game with different quest types(main quests, side quests...), level up system, looting system, combat system, npc's(for shops, quests etc), enemy & allied ai for combat system and a dialogue system that respects player's choices and is not there just so you can select "lets have sex"... All of those systems I mentioned would be completely developed and in working order. On the other hand, we are talking about 7 YEARS and still counting here and "game" STILL doesn't exist despite the fact that it ALREADY has more than enough animations to develop 3 different sex games.

Nah I'm not trying to defend them. What I'm saying is the scope is bigger than what they anticipated, and they thought this is going to be easy but its not. You can look at the first animation they made and compare it today, it is night and day. The system they try to make is not sufficient enough, lack of optimization since they underestimate the process. That's why I said they should hire a veteran game developer. It is night and day from optimization, reusable code, etc.

Also i doubt your web developer friend can make it in 1 year, web development and game development require different skill and the system is more complex. How do I know this? Because I used to have a friend that have major in game development, the game he make is simple but the process it take to make the system and logic work are very difficult and he is one of the talented student! If that talented student is having a problem, you can bet your ass the average student will find it 3x more difficult.

Yes in 7 year it should have been delivered, I AGREE on that, however they lack the man power, good product manager, etc. It should have been a simple game, but they have ambition in making an adult rpg unlike others here and I respect that. But to make an open world RPG, you really need a team of very talented developer and a good work flow. I just hope they can find additional good developer but we will never know. It is up to them to prove that they are right.

This pretty much sums up how far from reality are non-devs when it comes to imagining what's behind the courtains.
I'm a dev myself and believe me, I've seen a lot smaller pieces of software done longer and with more issues.

I wasn't talking about some average student. I am talking about someone who is not a student, someone who is a developer not because of money but because of it is what he likes to do. And I am talking about someone who is not as lazy as me but on the complete opposite spectrum; a workohalic who doesn't stop even in most holidays.

Honestly, if there were just 100 developer like him in the porn game industry IN THE WHOLE WORLD we(players) would be playing many more porn games that are on par with non-adult games if not better(quality and personal enjoyment wise).

Sadly, only a very few people like him(when it comes to developing software) exists in the porn game industry. That's why so many games are stuck in patreon hell, intentional or not. That's why majority of the" games" on this site are visual novels(not saying all vn's are bad). That's why there are only a few "hidden gems" among many trash on f95zone.

I'm not kidding, I know this message sounds sarcastic but it isn't.

This dude gets it. And me too, I've been waiting for B42 of zomboid for YEARS, and that game is ps2 graphics isometric.

What I'll never get however is last year, Wildlife has a lot of content, and now downloading it feels "reduced". as if one of the devs got sick and his computer failed thereby deleting all important assets/codes/back-ups, which is now the common reason of most adult game developers nowadays.

correct, these are development builds. although there actually is a lot more conten via what is in the sandbox. w're not going to get the actual game til it's done.

well when the game is eventually finished (current ETA 2025, though I have reservations about that) it will be an rpg where you play as Max and Maya on their various quests and sexual encounters. Story driven game wit hplenty of exploration.

Is there a place to download mods? like maps, models, etc....?
plenty of assets and maps on the official discord, more "mods" over on Liquid's discord, you can find their info in the official discord or their tag somewhere in these threads
