Shattered Minds Dev Update 03/23: Improved and new features
Hey all!
Beside two whole quests (Eleanors first one and Landladys first one), V0.02 of Shattered Minds will include
various bug fixes and enhancements to the game and it's mechanics.
Today I'd like to show you those improved or totally new features!
I've made gifs so you can instantly see how the new game features look like.
Please excuse the poor quality of these gifs.
The textbox
It's now possible to use a text box.
There's now a slider in the option's menu called
"Dialogue box opacity". With it you can set the textbox' opacity.
By default, the textbox remains transparent.
Advance the day via the calendar icon
A quality of life improvement.
Beginning with V0.02, it is now possible to
end the day using the calendar. You can choose to go home and sleep if you click the calendar button in the evening.
You automatically wake up at home the next day.
You
can still manually go into bed. But by using the calendar, you spare yourself a lot of time and unnecessary wandering.
Quest Tracker
It's now possible to track quests.
This means you can
always see directly on your HUD what's the next step to take in the selected quest, without opening the quest log every time.
You can stop tracking at any time or switch freely between the quests.
What is also added in V0.02 are
clear indicators in the quest log, that shows you when all the
currently available content has been seen/played. I forgot to add that to some quests.
