Yes, although that plot was getting more and more absurd. Like the rest of the game.
But if the plot had followed the original route, it would have been super exciting. Two proud women like Betty and Monica subdued by a spoiled brat.

It's not only events with Bardie himself that I miss. There is more to it.
At the end of Ep.2 Decent Monkey just introduced camwhoring events in Bardie's branch. It could have been great and funny (for example, comments from subscribers about Monica's performances). As I wrote earlier:

In addition to it, Bardie could have started selling Monica to his friends (and there were already hits to that in the story), to become her pimp. Wouldn't it be nice?
Also, in Bardie's branch were events in the school, including that teacher and Claire. Hell, there could have been events where both Monica and Claire are blackmailed to do some sexual stuff in the school, like fuck each other in front of Bardie's class!

This game with its mysterious conspiracy of powerful elites against Monica deserves so much more than just entertaining immature schoolboys like Bardie and his mate and other sperm-addled teenagers via camvhoring on webcam broadcasts. You and I definitely have different tastes and preferences (and that's ok).

So then entertaining drunks at the bar, the driver at home and losers on the street does fit your mysterious conspiracy description of the game?:D It is all right to entertain them but entertaining teenagers is no-no and below Monica's high standards?)

I'm only expressing my wishes that the plot of this game could have been more serious, because the plot prerequisites for this in the game were laid out from the beginning. Anyway, it's worth admitting that "Shiny Hole" is probably the best side storyline in FB. As for entertaining "drivers and losers" (prostitution) in the Slums - that path is optional, my Monica isn't involved in it at all and I only occasionally familiarise myself with the "Fallen path" content with the developer's saves. There's a reason DM described the game concept of Fashion Business back in 2019, specifically that The different stories are made for the player to choose a walkthrough to their liking. So I chose my walkthrough according to my tastes, as far as the game allows. And I'm glad there are no more immature brats in this walkthrough.
