Why are you using new models you could use Lora or lycoris to change artsyles or use them to let your model learn concepts like wings or feathers it's a lot less work than merging some models together.
I do when I can, actually I've been procrastinating creating a lora for my character.

I really should have done it a long time ago but I've been busy...

I was hoping it could be a natural hair colour from the start (for when you create the character), just not a hair dye.

Ah well
I mean it permanently changes your hair color, I just set black to default.
I suppose I could add am option at the beginning of the game though.

That said, it will change the hair color on the side and for your outfit, but it doesn't change the hair color for every scene. I changed it for a few scenes, but it is a lot of work. Can't just inpaint it another color, have to photoshop.

I could be lazy and half-assed photoshop and inpaint but it doesn't come out as good if I do that.

are you sure not draining bandit??
Yep, killed it, i just charmed femine looking creature. I think the more i use charm, the higher the suspicion, so i have to wait till the character is super hungry. Although I don't know why that's the chase if i use charm outside the castle.

understandable. I generally like white hair girls, and white hair for supernatural races more. So given the option I'd like to go with that. But understandble its probably extra work. Its fine I just go default, its its something hard to keep support for. Dont know anything about AI CGI, but my quick look seemed like it was complicated.

bp suspicion goes up for 2 reasons.
1. you kill someone in town (which only happens if your arousal gets too high)
or 2. you're walking around town with tail / horns
Bandits are perfectly fine to charm.

Same, any game I play I used white haired characters. Dunno, been a thing ever since I played Final Fantasy IX as a kid.

I have no problem with adding an option to choose at the beginning, just need to think of a clever way to do it.
Bear in mind that it's basically impossible for me to change the hair color for every scene though. I did it for a few but the amount of time it takes me to photoshop the hair color + the amount of space the game would start taking up is unfortunately too much. I'd love to otherwise.

Noticed a bug while I was doing combat on v0.40. Doing an action (attack, charm etc.) before all the text has appeared (enemy level, enemy HP etc.) makes it so that on the next round none of that text is shown. This makes the player unable to see their own remaining HP and MP as well as remaining enemy HP and mental resistance. Attached is an image that shows the error it gives, though it usually shows up on the next round after the initial failure.

Also, loading an outfit preset, checking stats and then confirming the outfit results in the player having the default 'none' outfit.

The aura upgrade is neat but I honestly have no idea how much each level affects things. If you plan to have a lot of content differ based on the levels then it might be a good idea to give the players some notion as to what they can expect from each level since the upgrades can't be undone.

How long till 0.41 is ready for public release Panonon?
I've been sticking to a monthly schedule.

My first child is due to be born around June 28th, so I might be a day or two late depending on what's going on, but the update will be ready to release on July 3rd.

I also generally release the free game updates a week early on my website.

So after fighting with this bug and speaking with the twine crew on the official discord, basically we came to the conclusion that this bug is related to sugarcube itself. It's not something I can fix without removing the typing completely.
The issue is caused by clicking a button before the typing finishes loading. Basically what we believe is happening is that the typing never hits the </typing> end point, so it continues typing nothing into oblivion.
This "shouldn't" be an issue for most players, as I've added a delay to the buttons so that you shouldn't be able to click on any of them until the typing is completed anyways. However I added to my known issues as it was recently discovered that players playing on Firefox browser do not get the delay at all, buttons load immediately for them. So firefox users can run into this bug.
If this affects you, you can either continue clicking through the battle with no text (not ideal), or refresh the page and start the battle over. Just be careful not to click any buttons until the text cursor is gone.

Also, loading an outfit preset, checking stats and then confirming the outfit results in the player having the default 'none' outfit.
I'll look into this. When you check stats does it switch the drop down back to none? I'll play with it in a few browsers and see if I can replicate it.

So in town if you are naked, then the math works like 4 + aura = percent chance you get propositioned in town
if you are wearing clothes, then the aura is the percent chance only.

My current cap to aura is 10, so that means if you're naked, you can have up to 14% chance of being propositioned in town.

I'm currently working on expanding existing content for next update rather than continuing the story (0.42) and I'll revisit aura to see if I want to make any chances to it.

What to expect from next update, current plan:
⦁ Fleshing out existing content. Adding more scenes to brothel, tavern, forests and blackpool
⦁ Deciding what to do with the new alley in blackpool
⦁ Doing something with the Inn
⦁ Adding the rest of the elemental magic to the game
⦁ Potentially expanding on game opening as it's very rushed, give the character a little bit of back story
⦁ Allow player to choose their hair color before dying in game opening
⦁ Rewriting content (fight scenes in forest, some lewd scenes, just got done re-writing all the magic tomes in the game)
⦁ adding patron scenario by Yuki
⦁ working on catching up on missing images for various scenes
⦁ Add one missing scene to the end of rhevenge path
⦁ expand on the usage of charm
⦁ Potentially more to be added

Fair enough, I am indeed using firefox. For me the buttons don't appear immediately but they become visible and clickable before the typing finishes. It wasn't really problem until I became familiar with the combat and properly started grinding for levels. The combat isn't particularly engaging for me at the moment so I just clicked through it as fast as I could

Yes, it does. Are the drop downs supposed to change when loading a preset? For me they didn't but the outfits do get put on correctly.

Sounds like your issue is due to being on firefox, though it is very slightly different from the previous report I had for firefox users.
Balancing is hard. And honestly this is my first self-built RPG system. I have ideas for improvements if I were to build another in the future.
Some players have requested I switch back to my old method of no cum when fighting, and no copper when charming.
Currently debating on it. Might run a poll to see what the majority thinks.

No, drop downs won't change automatically, and if you visit the page and you don't select anything before clicking confirm, it will automatically change your outfit to whatever is selected in the drop down.
I may revisit this later, this was one of the earliest things I built.
