Devs need to understand that, even though in the game it was only a couple of days, for people playing it has been several years, and a good ending with decent closure is expected. If you decide to end it with such a crappy ending, that would be the lasting experience in mind, no matter how good the other content was, which, even in this case, was subpar at best.

Why is everyone so surprised??? The original game and story were fantastic, and you could see the route the game was going. But people bitched about the dad having sex with the mom (like wait his mom wasn't a virgin!!!!, NTR SCUM!! lmao) so of course its rushed and the story is shit. they need to continue where the original game left off as it was far better.

I think more people bitched more about the stepdouche bullying the MC, who, before the game's premise, had been independent, living away from home and had a girlfriend. People didn't like the fact that MC allowed himself to be berated and bossed around like a petulant toddler, for no goddamn reason, and doing nothing but grumbling under his breath

Also, I don't think watching stepdouche fucking the mum was NTR. Can't say I liked stepdouche either, though, so...

Of the two patients you can actually "romance" they both have "final" sex scenes. With all that being said why are you even looking into the thread on an F95game? This is the thing. Like with most videogames, you need a vision of the story you want to tell and then communicate it effectively. A small team or even one person can make a great videogame with just a clear vision of where to go (FTL, Vampire Survivor...). The problem, like with most AAA games and studios is not having the vision or communicating a wrong vision to be more attractive.

You have a story to tell about a camp for damaged girls. Wanna go harem, then do so. Wanna go NTR then do so. And be clear about where you are going, you'll get a decent following and people won't be left down. And know the story you want to tell instead of just deciding to "fuck it" and come to an abrupt ending. That way you let down all the people that followed to the end, not appease those that don't see the tags they want or don't see them happening in the early game and, in general, create a bad precedent for future projects.

Communication skills, a good write up of the story and a clear vision are what game directors have to have. Be it a large team or a team of one, you need to know where your going and remain on the path.

A developer should have his clear ideas from the beginning, he didn't have them.

A quick search at the beginning of this thread would tell you what happened to this game, instead of taking at face value what people are saying who obviously liked to see Paul fuck Eve and also wanted him to fuck the others LIs.


The dev said that there were going to be no other guys in the camp (I guess Paul is transgender or something), he was the one who lied to the players and changed the story, he also said that there was going to be a harem and there isn't.
The way Paul treated the MC and the MC being a wimp who doesn't respond or defend himself, it seemed 100% like a NTR setup and then that scene with Eve came out, which only made the situation worse with the dev's lies.

Then he said there weren't going to be any more Paul scenes, and surprise surprise, he lied again, the next few updates to that one had more Paul and Eve scenes.

This is the same dev that in his first VN added NTR out of nowhere in the middle of the story.
NTR lovers are acting like the harem or vanilla people are what made this game change but that's not what happened.
Only reason why NTR lovers defend him is because of what he did in his first VN of adding NTR in the middle of the story and what he did here, add "technically not NTR" which NTR lovers like for some unknown reason.

The reason why the dev removed the "NTR" from the story completely and changed the name to something that has nothing to do with it, was to get support from harem fans or anyone who doesn't like NTR, but it was already too late and that scam was not going to work on them, that's why he end up doing rushed endings, I guess he's going to make a new VN scam.

So no, this game wasn't ruined because the dev "catered" to the "harem fans" or their complaints, but because there was never a real story and the dev just wants to make money.
Save your advice for devs who are actually going to listen to you and not for scammers like this one.

The harem people didn't sabatoge the game, the dev did that after repeatedly breaking promises nonstop about the same issue lol. I don't even know why he removed the incest or paul.

It's like another user said, just say she caught him cheating or something and then decided to not fuck him, then make them live in a loveless marriage, so we don't stumble in on them fucking every update.

For real I don't know why the author was so desperate to have the mc jack off while the asshole stepdad is fucking his love interest even after repeatedly insisting it wasn't going to happen. And I recall hearing other girls expressing interest in paul so I guess the author's brilliant plan was to have him fuck those girls and cause the wife to dump him, leading to the mc having some debauched sloppy seconds whorem ending.
