Because the only thing going on for Andras is that he is powerful. Nothing else. He doesn't have a working brain. He charges ahead, doesn't think how best to approach things, he has zero sublety skills and charisma. He is not a diplomat and sucks as a leader. If it wasn't for his sister he would be dead in a ditch a long time ago. Even his power is something he was born with, not achieved. Every woman out there except Corrupted Alexia hates his guts while they desire Rowan, Jazeera included. The moment Rowan becomes stronger he will be superior to him in every single way. That is why i don't believe that Alexia would ever like Andras unless she gets brainwashed and corrupted to such a degree that she is no longer herself.
Andras serves to satisfy a certain kink best described by what we in my country say - Pigs (trash men) eat the best fruit from the pile (good women) - Some people get "high" from seeing evil win, how bad men win the purest girls out there not because of charm or brain but because of sheer ignorant boasts.
Jazeera however has shown to be no less powerful than Andras and yet has the class and skill of manipulation to hide this and use other tools to her advantage. She can crush your skull but she prefers to get what she wants in other ways. That implies intelligence, patience, cunning. She loves playing with people as if they were figures on a chess board. The only reason Andras is next to her is that he is a brute. Nothing more, nothing less. I hope the moment Rowan becomes powerful, he and Jezeera would actually eliminate Andras as an option.
Alexia? Alexia and Greyhide is probably the most believable NTR couple so far. Greyhide is nice to her, just like Rowan and if Alexia wants to branch out Greyhide will support her and offer a much different experience since he is a minotaur. They can also breed with humans so he can satisfy her other need as well.

His philosophy is if am the strongest why shouldn't I just immediately do what I want and take what I want. Why wait when I can have immediate gratification. It'n not that he can't control himself, he just doesn't see why he should most ofthe time.

Jerzera is his opposite in every way. As you say she is also very powerful in her own right, but she enjoys the game. Her position is I could take what I want but it is more fun to make you give it to me. But she has also shown that she is just as willing and quick to turn to violence to get her way when her target refuses to play the game or seems to be winning.

I feel like Andras is more in control of himself than he seems, where as I fell like Jezera is less in control of herself than she seems. I would guess they probably have roughly the same level of self control. It's just that Andras down plays his, while Jezera over plays hers.

I do agree that I find it hard to believe that Alexia would fall for Andras so easily. I feel like he doesn't bother to keep the mask up long enough to convince her that he isn't a bad person. But then again I've seen plenty of real people fall for someone that I felt was obviously a bad person, and I can't believe that they don't see through them. So I guess I can't say that it isn't realistic.

I suppose the frustrating issue, at least for me, in the writing is that Alexia is put in a very compromising position as a nicely treated prisoner under house arrest.

The way the NTR is introduced as Alexia falling to Stockholm syndrome (which is bullshit by the way, it is incredibly shaky in the psychology community with very little evidence pointing to it actually existing), and depending on your choices, sleeping with Andras later on, portrays her in an unflattering light.

Why not show that Alexia is a lot smarter and more capable than what the Twins think she is? She is the deuteragonist, why not show that Andras finds himself enamored by her, through her stringing him along to improve her agency as a person, and begins to seek her counsel instead of his sister?

Unfortunately, this isn't the case, and it just falls to a kinda mindless chance for a porn scene with little grounding behind it.

I get the indication that the devs want a coherent story, with people feeling like people (with so many writers, this goal fails in my eyes), but they can't seem to decide whether they want Seeds of Chaos to just be Corruption of Champions with more art, or an actual VN with an ending that can be reached and gets you invested in the characters.

I can't be invested in Andras, as well as Jezera (the main villains that will most definitely be involved in all future endings), because I don't really know anything about them; they're both cruel and manipulative in different ways, applying their respective talents with their differing disposition towards problems they encounter, but we haven't been provided with anything beyond *dundundun, they once again are shown to be utterly monstrous with zero backstory shown despite 7 years of development*

That's closer to my read as well. I don't play his content because it isn't my thing, but just in the random events Andras is repeatedly shown as highly intelligent and capable in a number of areas, interested in—and respectful of—all sorts of technical craftsmanship, much more so than his sister who just has the one string to her bow and is repeatedly shown to flounder when Sexy Manipulation isn't effective.

Andras just doesn't have the patience for Jezera's games: He likes to fight and fuck and doesn't care for intrigue. If a problem can be solved by punching and/or sticking his dick in it, that's his plan 1A, but that's not all he's capable of.

Was definitely something that could've been interesting. I hope they can revisit it in some form for part 2 if possible. Rivals and/or a party for the MC are things that tend to make a story more interesting.

It was probably better it got dropped. Rein would've risked a fucking aneurysm trying to keep on top of a bunch of nemeses and all the branches each one would have alongside everything else.

Because he's Mr. Stealyourgirl. Its a visceral reaction that some people have to NTR content. But in the end it is just a very vocal minority, in actuallity his scenes with Alexia is some of the most popular content in the game.

The fact Andras is a grade A cuntthistle also has a lot to do with it in fairness. Even without NTR he'd cause dislike and there'd be folks that want him savaged or sodomized by an irate ostrich, dragon or whatever. I've seen people that love Greyhide turning Alexia's pussy into a windsock hate Andras.

Abrasive characters rub people the wrong way. It's inevitable, the guy is deliberately written to be a cunt after all.

She starts out unassigned, so you have to give her an assignment to begin seeing the associated events.

Some of yall wondering why Alexia falling for Andras and his brutish behavior, and why she can't be smarter than him etc, but we are still in Act 1 of 3 lol. I think Alexia has the potential to be a smart corrupted female that can take advantage of this relationship between her and Andras later in the story. Or, she can just become a dumb corrupted female who simply prefers to get rammed by different males for entertainment. I mean, the options are vast when it comes to her, (depending on the desires of the player). Act 1 is a build up, and I can't help but feel that this fact needs to be taken into consideration. Alexia has the potential to become a puppet master, as we can kinda see from her text during her corruption, or help Rowan at any cost, or even make herself the powerhouse through her sexual nature and stuff. We see she even has the potential to learn magic, something that'll probably come into play later. Lets just let this Act end, and lets see what is in store in Act 2 and 3 when it comes to Alexia and Rowan.

That said, 7 years for a visual novel is a little long in my opinion, yes, but you have to also consider many other factors beside the small team at work. Some ain't full-time employees, and the budget also isn't as massive as a major game, (I could be wrong about the budget), the vast multiple story lines with each character and such can cause delay, going back and fixing or changing things, the game didn't start with a huge budget, required learning, the team has grown over time, writing and fixing the story, reviewing it again and again to make sure it makes sense, and fits most kinks each player seeks. I mean, the list goes on and on, so I can kinda see why this game is taking time to be finished here. That, and you don't want the team to burnout neither. Only certain people working on this type of game and material, so it ain't like you can easily find replacements if someone decides to leave. I'm sure there are major challenges to complete a game like this one and thus why it's taking a while. Perhaps Act 2 and 3 won't take as long because many lessons have already been learned, and the team can simply apply their knowledge to the new stories.

You know, it does occur to me that people have a tendency to discuss Rowan and Alexia as if their personal playthrough is the canon version of the characters. But it is more like Schrödinger's characterization.

Rowan both is/isn't gay. He both is/isn't a cuck. He is/isn't cool with letting his wife fuck the minotaur. Alexia is/isn't a slut. She is/isn't a magical prodigy. She will/won't do anything to get pregnant...

The devs have outright stated during a "gay Rowan" debate that all choices are equally canon. So, a lot of the complaints about the characters comes down to the player making poor choices. Maybe they just really wanted to see the sex scene or maybe they didn't know how the choice would pan out. But in many cases the character did that thing because you made them do it.

Is it one or the other? Can she get pounded out on her own terms or is it her always basically been an idiot? I haven't played much but it feel like fucking him so soon after her town got torched and she was kidnapped is a dumb move by default without some corruption happening where she stops giving a fuck about her old life.

I'm new to the game so I haven't really seen much. But I'd rather not bother much with Andras if Alexia is just dumb when it's him.
