This is the correct answer. I'm not a Mac user myself and think it's something about the default way Ren'Py exports the Mac build, but I'm open to suggestions about how to package the Mac builds in a way that doesn't require the workaround!

I'm not a developer, nor do I quite understand what Ren'Py is.

Several executables are not flagged as such in the Mac package. It seems Mac's system default archive utility (Archive Utility) doesn't do anything fancy and simply unpacks them as is, whereas The Unarchiver recognizes that the files in question look like and are in a common place for common executables, and flags them as such. Or something - in any case, they end up flagged properly, and differently than in the zip.

Comparing zipinfo on TNH's archive vs Rogue-Like's, Oni's executables are all flagged properly.

So: maybe try to make sure the executables in the Mac package, eg pythonw, have execute permission?

I think a lot of the "grind" will be made easier once the clothing gets put back in. At least before when you gifted clothing items you got a fairly decent love and trust bonus IIRC.

Android tablet with 8 GB of RAM, game is becoming slowly unplayable. Spring season, day 30ish, any hookup scene slows to a slideshow and then crashes. Boosting to 16 GB of RAM does not help.

Happens with any 'insertive' action like blowjob, fingering, etc. Image layering bug?

That's weird. I get all three going at once and even the self-absorbed and attention seeking Jean starts up with wanting to date the MC even though she knows he is dating Anna Marie and Anna wanting to date even though she knows something is about to start up with Laura. They all know about each other before I tell them and they don't seem to mind. I get each of them presents and nobody complains about what the other got so far. Did you start a relationship with one and say you wanted to just date them without leaving the option open?

I'm gonna copy the entirety of your post to the dev team but these three I'll address directly.

In the scenes with Rogue Null is holding hands with her quite often as part of the scene (e.g. while studying). Still, the gesture of Rogue is not changing always (e.g. reaching out her hand (which of course does not always fit)) and she often also is still wearing her gloves. At least to see that she is touching the hands of Null with her bare hand would be a nice detail.

This is one of those situations where we plan to use comic panels so to not make the models look warped.

As far as I understand (please correct me if I am wrong) the dev team is quite willing to update already existing and completed parts of the game like Runey is doing it with his Harem Hotel (and I mostly love him for doing this). Therefore just a few thoughts about probably allready completed parts but as it was said it is still pre-alpha and therefore maybe of interest.

If future parts of the game get better, we'll head back to ensure consistent quality throughout the entire experience.

At the end of all available events Laura and Rogue are friends, but Rogue is calling Laura still X-23. Maybe an idea for a small scence where they explain to Null that Laura has allowed Rogue to call her Laura as well?

The problem with this, as I understand it, is that with renpy the system calls for names when referencing things. We'd have to introduce a separate nickname system for the changes to affect all events in the transition from X-23 to Laura with Rogue.

I think I'm in need of more insight from the depths of the crystal ball owner of certain pair of shiny boots.

As far as I understood so far, there will be more romantic interests for protagonist in the further story chapters. Shall we expect some hypothetical cute girl appearing in the third chapter have the same amount of story content - quests, events etc. - in context of the entire game?

Storm is off on missions and will be added into the game in future updates. They are concentrating on getting the first part of the game polished up with the three X-ladies already present. We just have to be patient, but Storm is certainly one of the next ones they are working on adding from what I understand.

Storm is unavailable right now because of story reasons, she is the only confirmed girl for whenever Chapter 2 happens.
