So is it safe to assume this game is abandoned at this point? Shame, game had potential.

Kinda hard to say. They've gone this long before with no updates, but it's getting close to Christmas which could see another bundle of Christmas themed attire.
The studio could prove me wrong and bring out the update they wanted to make and create, but I'm not holding out hope at this point.

They said just over a year ago that the game was (somehow) mostly complete, and the only updates now would be like Spadgeunlikeanyother mentioned the seasonal ones and fixes. There not being a Halloween one this year isn't a good sign.

They have likely been working on another project for quite a while now. The game is on life support only and they will pull the plug soon when they arbitrarily decide that the game is "finished", even though it is far from.
Interest in the game is pretty much non-existent thanks to lacklustre updates, so spending any extra time and effort on this game is not worth the risk for them.
The developers during the HD update didn't post anything for like a 9 month period. They have a bad habit of going so dark that their community managers can't even get a hold of them. So, its hard to say if its truly abandoned or they are hard at work at something secretive.
Interest in the title has waned for a few reasons:
1. Severe issues with the combat that hasn't been addressed.
2. No masturbation poses; sure people are annoyed there is no sex, but even some masturbation has been requested a lot.
3. Lots of skill bugs, with the skill tree system, that have never worked.
4. They had a huge influx of players I think in July 2021, and lots of trolls came in and got the biggest fans of the game banned when they fought back. After that, the rest of the fans basically gave up on it.
5. No real endgame, or climatic end to the game.

IIRC devs are ukrainian and have a history with unfinished games, not to mention complete radio silence everywhere,
The community managers are certainly Ukrainian women, but I believe I read that the developers are based out of China.

Unless devs decide to "resurrect" themselves from eternal slumber - the game is pretty much dead at this point. The only time manager visited discord was at July and then complete silence. That was the last time something was posted from devs/management and it was just something like "sup" and that's it.

Welp.. There goes my hope for this game ever getting actual sex. A real shame, since the devs did intend to add sex to the game eventually at some point... *sigh*
On the other hand, we *do* have another Succubus game that actually has sex (Succubus Prologue). Might as well just go play that i guess...

Maybe that's what they actually meant by "sex". But i legit thought they meant actual sex because back when the game first released, a lot of people wanted sex in the game and pestered the devs asking them if sex would ever be a thing and i remember them saying they'd be open to the idea, something like that. But anyways, that brings me to another point...
... Why would you make a succubus game without sex, anyway? This always felt weird for me. It's like making a vampire game without blood. It just doesn't really work imo (i understand AAA games depicting succubi more like vampires, because AAA companies literally cannot depict them as they're supposed to be like, but this shouldn't be a problem for indie companies)

This was never going to have full on sex, it was only going to get toys and props.
Succubus Prologue is just the, well, prologue. Succubus main game released ages ago

Wich goes back to my previus comment. Making a succubus game without sex is kinda dumb. It's like making a vampire game without blood, as i said.
I only give a pass to AAA games because they literally cannot depict Succubi as sexual as they're supposed to be.
Oh yeah, i am aware. I remember watching my brother play. While the sexual part of the game is a bit disappointing (it's very limited), at least it's still there.
Lets see:
Last update was over a year ago,
No one has been active in this thread since January,
It says "Abandoned" next to the name at the top of the screen,
All communication by the Developers on any platform has stopped over a year ago.
Pretty obvious what the answer will be.
