I'm not here to make anyone against Ocean or anything like that (He gave me my favorite MMC after all), just putting this out to shed some light on how things are going and being rational. Pointing out flaws or critizing doesn't make one against it, it simply shows what needs improvement

First of all Nobody knows how long anyone will live and that's wishful thinking that I'll be around that (put any amount of days/months/years/decades) time especially with all these wars on the brink of happening + virus outbreaks, natural death, etc.
Second, you guys need to be rational about things. We got 5 chapters in 5 years (starting from 2019 and yes I'm counting Chapter 5 in it, I know it's not
FULL version). 30 chapters are set in stone AT LEAST making it every 5 chapters a season + reworks. YES! I'm counting ATLEAST one rework every 5 chapters and that me being optimistic that we'll get only 1 rework. Rework can be minor or major. Ren'py does version updating too, that's another issue of saves. Who knows if ren'py will be around then or not. Who knows maybe AI will be making AVN's.
Not to forget Ocean is working on two games which is also affecting the delay of updates (look we still didn't get Chapter 5 full version even though ch5 was released way before WIAB release and WIAB already got full version a long time ago) And I don't think Ocean will be abandoning WIAB especially after 2 chapters in AFTER rework and it is way shorter in comparison to Summer's Gone that is if Ocean is not planning on making it SG 2.0 with 30 or some chapters.
So, the game will be completed in 2049 is the most optimistic we can be.

I don’t understand where every second critic gets this didactic tone and condescending attitude towards those who support Ocean. Where do you guys get such an unbearable desire to stick the blazing Torch of Truth into our unwashed asses of ignorance?
This may be hard for you to believe, but most people can multiply 1 by (32-5) and add 2024 to get 2051 as an extrapolation of the game's completion date if things remain as they are now. They kinda had done this long before the missionaries arrived to this pagan lands.
And this is where questions of personal beliefs begin. Some believe that Ocean is not evolving, does not draw conclusions from past mistakes, does not analyze the feedback and don't improve his approach based on it, not looking for the ways to make games faster. And basically milks the poor pirates, and as long as there is at least one subscriber left, he will continue the unbearable milking of those who take the game for free.
Others believe that Ocean is looking for ways to improve games and develop them more quickly, constantly taking various actions to achieve this goal, and in general he is serious about delivering the games to the extent that he planned them. Because it is not only his passion, but also his business. So this part of the audience believes that the dev will find a way to significantly speed up development.
Just to be honest: my personal opinion is that I don't give a flying fuck about the ending as long as Ocean releases an amount of content every year that is comparable to the amount of content created by the most productive solo developers on this site. I will watch this show while it lasts.
I think that since this is a question of beliefs, then it has only a historical solution - religious wars, this is exactly what we all see in this thread. And only the future will show who was right.

Another thing that I can't understand is the attempts in this thread to address Ocean and teach him how to make games correctly. I see only one explanation for this; perhaps not everyone knows that he left this forum last year and deleted his account. Guys, he's not here, look for him on Patreon, Discord or God knows where.
And my beloved Regium fans. Yeah, sure, things were much better with him, and the MC was the Edgelord Chad, not the pathetic emo-crybaby-limp-dick like now, and the jokes were funny and juicy, not like the pale crap that was left after the edits and in general we were one step away from fucking all the LIs and shoot up a fucking college. But Ocean has deprived us of all these joys.
Just please don't forget one little thing: Regium has left this ship four (or five?) years ago. Summer's Gone is now entirely created by Ocean, and the old one you loved was abandoned by its developer many years ago. Alas. It's abandoned. Seriously, don’t torture yourself, Ocean won’t return everything as it was under Regium, find something more suitable to your taste. Or accept the changes.
