indeed there are several cross-references in Melody/DMD. The dev like to put them in and as i know they will even grow numbers of such stuff in further updates.
Another great cross-reference (in game of DMD) was a scene where MC is in a bar and in background there is Arnold and Amy sitting at a table and the poster on the wall announces Melody for "tomorrow 22:00".
If you watch the images carefully and don't skip through by just reading the text, you will find several more cross-references

Melody says they're in Donutistan in this episode.

Played a few times through and decided to play 100% monogamous path but no matter what I try I can not avoid date with Amy at underground and back at hotel. I prevent Albert going to Birthday, turn her down at every turn yet I always end up in that room. Tried downloading walkthrough and avoided every listed trigger. Is only way to avoid Amy to actually miss movie date with Melody so you can actually have lunch date with Amy and actually turn her down when she actually asks directly? It would be annoying to be unable to max relationship with Melody just to be monogamous with Melody.
Been a manwhore so much easier and fun.

EDIT ok after several more efforts the trigger is simply the expensive perfume or lunch, having Arnold at birthday or not is irrelevant and the lunch is only secondary trigger, Still lose 2 points from Melody but I can live with that.

The way I stopped the Amy path was to have Arnold at the birthday dinner and "kiss her on the cheek" when you drive her home and then turn down the lunch date. Havent heard from her since that.

im curious, im used to most of the games here to be stand alone downloads.

so normally I just download the file, then unpack them. then I would just copy and paste the old save flies from the older release into the new folder. but something I noticed in this one was that the music folders only had week 8, all the other week's music is missing. I had to copy and paste the older files into the new folder in order to get them working again.

though this does make me wonder if I am missing any others. I have week 5-8 now, are there any others? are we supposed to be merging these files together?

it'd really suck for new players who dont have the older files to get these cuz the music isnt all that bad and I actually enjoy listening to them, and im sure some others would enjoy it too.

Agreed! In a vacuum, I could be convinced that either Becca or especially Amy is more strictly physically appealing, but the writers do a solid job of making Melody appealing beyond the surface, so when you finally get those clothes off, the hotness is on another level indeed

firstly, the 0.7 version HERE starts from the very beginning, of course.

Secondly, this is a Ren'py game. You don't need to copy and paste any old save.

I think you thought you played from scratch and you didn't realize that you loaded your old savefile. My guess.
