I've been AWOL for a while. But I just saw the Cuntswell announcement by @79flavors. But before I move on, I just wanted to give my thanks to @79flavors and @BananaPyjama. It's my opinion that SSS would have been a impossible to play without their extraordinary efforts. Also @79flavors user support in this forum has gone far above what one could normally expect from volunteer help (which is above average on f95zone forums anyway). So thanks and is there a way to keep track of what @79flavors is involved in?

Your right about 79flavors work. You could follow him, when you want to keep track of his activity (on the user page).

Ok, so how does one follow? Never mind, I figured it out. :)
Oh Jeeeezzzz... don't. You'll make me blush.
Seriously though, unless you're interested in posts of me dumbing down shit that @Rich and/or @anne O'nymous already explained to me somewhere else - there's really not that much to follow me for now that SSS is complete.

Well I find it hard to believe that you aren't going to say something useful, based on my past interactions. :) So if it's ok, I'll just see what happens.

I'm not grumpy, I'm just coded that way.

Don't say this. Your guide about isn't just the result of what was explained to you. You clearly haven't stopped to what was said, you also tried (and succeed) to understand why it was said. And this, no one could have done it for you.

Hadn't seen that before; thanks for mentioning it, anne!

@79flavors that guide is really nice. It clarified some stuff for me - I'm not a Ren'Py guy, but I am a Python/C++ guy. It should be required reading for any dev making any non-linear RenPy game! :) I've tried to help devs with issues before (most don't know about default), but that guide sums up everything I've tried to point out.

Is there any way i can scroll back on previous scenes? I press the touchbar of my laptop twice sometimes and miss some conversations and i really hate when they dont allow rollback on the scenes... Whats the point to not put it in the game when you have detailed walkthrough...

The author's version of the game doesn't.
But the game has had various people patching it since it came out. Including adding back in the ability to rollback.

Take a look here for the various options for a patched version:

Alternately, you can just download a file and put it in your ./game/ folder. Someone suggested that here:

The single file is probably quickest. But the patched versions fix a lot more than just the [back] button not working.

I notice there is a fixed, patched compressed version of the game, but is there a fixed patched uncompressed version? Because the uncompressed version isn't labelled in any way that would suggest it is fixed and patched (ie. v1.0 patched, or v1.1, or fixed).

I wrote a post a while ago listing all the available patched/unpatched and compressed/uncompressed versions:

If you want a patched (fixed), uncompressed (original) version of the game... then you probably want this version:

There are two download options for it... a simple patch that can be applied to the original version of the game...
But I would highly recommend the full download version at 1.9gig...

...which is a direct replacement for the original game, uncompressed images and all the bug fixes, spelling, grammar and QOL fixes that seemed appropriate.

Yup. The author deliberately disabled it.

Here's a fix for just that problem:

There are however, a couple of "fixed" versions of the game (which also include re-enabling the back button).
Including my own:

Details about what it fixes are available .

Thanks that worked!

As for the other fixes, I'm just in chapter 2 so far so I have no idea what any of them mean.

Good-o.

Fair point.
Personally, I'd play the fixed version using the mega.nz link above... especially if you've only just started.
But then I would say that.

There's really only 1 game breaking bug in the original version of the game. But there's a reason why a few of us spent so much time "fixing" stuff. Your call.

Does anyone else feel like this game ended quite abruptly or am I missing something? Mom, son, neighbour and her daughter just had a smoking hot scene in Moms room and then the next morning the son has to make a choice? Why can't he just carry on being with everyone? It feels like I'm either missing a bunch of content or the creator decided to just end the story. It doesn't feel at all like a natural progression to the story.

So, not sure where to post this as I couldn't find a bug report section or anything, but I've run into a problem. Maybe I need the patch or whatever it is to fix it, but perhaps anyone here can let me know what the issue is.

I played through almost all of this, but there seems to be some inconsistencies.

1. During night time at your aunts place and you talk with Jennifer up in the room nothing happens really except talking about the book she borrowed you. Then, Addison asks "How did it go?" to which the MC says "We talked about books, then sex, then she gave me a blowjob." Meanwhile...I'm there wondering "What fucking blowjob? What?"
2. I start noticing that choices were being made without me even choosing anything. Changing a lot of what was going on. For example, somehow I got the non Dominate route with Gwen even though I followed the steps with it.
3. When you talk to your sisters and Alessia they say "We know you already had sex. Just need to do it with Gwen" but the only "Action" my guy had yet was the blowjob from Jennifers mother.
4. After this Jennifer calls saying she needs you. I was going to go over to her, but the game gave me NO CHOICE and went on a date with mom? I thought maybe "I hit enter which chose it without me thinking" so I reloaded and didn't click enter or anything. It just skips directly to the date with mom.
5. Speaking about the date with mom, I never even talked to her about it. Yet, it happened?

So, overall I think my game somehow bugged out about halfway through the game and started choosing choices for me without giving me an option and skipping a lot of scenes?

Has this happened to anyone else or just me? Does save scumming fuck with the game? You know, saving and reloading before choices? Do I need the patcher or?

Any information would help. I was going for one of the endings, mainly with Gwen and Jennifer (Would love for some Addison action, but yeah). So, I'll probably have to start over.

Just let me know if this bug has happened for anyone else and what I need to fix it. Thanks.

Sadly, there are more than a few inconsistencies similar to the ones you've mentioned.

Generally speaking, the author tended to assume most players would see most or all of the various sexual routes. So when it came to writing the next scene/chapter - he kinda forgot some of the stuff that might have happened... and instead wrote as if the player did what he assumed they would have done.

There's a fixed version that addresses some of those inconsistencies... but not all.
