What is the point in changing the art? It wasn't the best art ever but it was fine, I would have settled for characters having more distinctive faces.
I know it's a big joke that this game will never be completed but with all these pointless changes it does feel like they keep adding on to the pile, I wonder if things will coincidentally start going faster if people start removing their donations later down the line.

you can see that this game talks by itself, as Dogeek have stated, the rework of the codebase is long and extensive, the idea is to make the game less prone to crashes and more flexible for upcoming updates and content
and the rework of the art is focused in flexibility, streamlining of the game and lightweighting the final product, because visuals are always the heavy hitters on any game, and the old way of doing all the poses instead of creating separated parts that can be arranged / swapped at will was making the game bloated and slow
remember that DC is a human, like all of us here, has a real life, a job, debts, kids, and so on. so is logical that things doesn't go as planned from time to time, and watching you guys trash-talking about a real life stuff is frankly dissapointing

All good and shit but for that kind of money here you need to move big game coke or horse. He earns like what minimum 32k (its alot more that that but for reference) thats why people are trash talking because its insane amounts of money. High end CGI artists are paid that kind of money.

That's not how art works though. Just because actors, musicians, etc. earn insane amounts of money doesn't mean that one would expect them to double, tripple, quadruple their output. If your favourite band releases an LP every year, it doesn't matter if they earn 1, 2 or 100 million bucks from it, the next album won't come any faster. The same is true here as long as DC draws every bit of art himself and wants to assure his standards. Just because he earns twice the money doesn't mean, that he can actually, physically work twice as much. After all we aren't talking about DAZ or honey select renders where money actually matters and which you can hand over to anybody with a bit of skill to produce as many of them as you want, as long as the models are ready and as long as you've got potent hardware.
Art is the big bottleneck of this game and as long as DC doesn't find an artist who fulfills everything he needs/wants, the speed won't change, no matter the money. And people are of course free to apply, if they think they can do it - DC said it several times on stream.
What part of more is misunderstood?
It's almost as if I don't believe them because you see it in nearly every other medium....and it's not like the person needs to do all the work, they just need to help lighten the load, in terms of the art. I don't buy that no one else on the planet is capable of doing that. If people quit looking for help because one person they looked at didn't work out then nothing would ever get done.

With his budget he should be able to hire someone to work with him. Here, this took me like... 15 minutes, tops.
It's not even close to perfect but it at least doesn't have her tits growing out of her sternum. His art has some serious flaws and is unacceptable quality for the amount of money that's put into it.

to be honest i haven’t played since 0.13 and was waiting for the Jenny update to be released. but the new rework is kinda turning me off and i might just swear off the game entirely if he is spending half the year redoing art instead of moving the story forward. but my opinion is just that as i’m not a patron.

Your torso is either too long or not wide enough. I understand why you did the jawline but in all truth the original was fine. The breasts are too high and too small (maybe). Extending the length of the neck was unnecessary. I didn't think of it before but addition of a spine line and shoulder blade is a good idea.
Decent attempt.
All DC had to do was slightly decrease the size of the head and slightly lift the torso up a bit.
