Fiona best girl and I was glad to get some more Fiona content this update. Getting some Succubus vibes from her but maybe following folklore a possible Dearg-due? (basically a Vampiric succubus that seduces their victim then drains them of their blood instead of the lifeforce through love juice) Would be interesting. The way she talks about her family, and how she has a bit of noble air about her, and strong familial ties/control factors, etc kind of gives off that kind of vampire-vibe.
My only gripe with the writing is the whole families sense of self-preservation it like defies all logic and reasoning
Every convo with Jess, How Jess acts, the way MC acts, like good lord man. At least care about the danger a little bit! Even though the Human settlements are relatively safe you still have Hellspawn, Potentially Warbanded Elves, Highwaymen, Drunkards/Crazy people, Potentially traitorous Templars, and new development Kidnappers(or bounty hunters? idk)
They have the survival and decision making skills of taking a trip to the grocery store for some juice, all I'm saying

You're all forgetting that we already know Jessica to be inpatienbt and impulsive. While it was sad to see and actually pissed me off, it's not entirely out of the known for the character.

Oh yeah, it definitely does fit her character. I just don't like the absolute stupidity she displays at moments like that.

True. But I really didn't like her trying to flip the blame and I especially disapproved of MC's lap dog response. In fact, I hated it so much that I made my own little mod for the conversation in the bar and had MC chew her ass about her behavior. Heh, I'm doing much better now...

While I think the major problem is this is entirely in context and knowing what's going on, a massively stupid decision on her part, but I also think she's incredibly naive. She blindly wants to forgive the lying her parents did and it takes her to this very chapter to figure out that one of the main reasons you flip out at them (if you go full rage mode) is your girlfriend is an agent of theirs. She's like "oh shit, I never thought about that" because of course she didn't. She's a young naive girl in college. At this point you've been with K for years. YEARS. Its even brought up with your father and she misses it completely. She was never attacked like you were in the beginning so she's still just coasting through everything. She just thinks a magical world was hidden from her like she's some YA heroine and she's not aware of the danger. The only downside is them pretending she's also really smart. She clearly isn't or at least lacks the wisdom or common sense to make it actually matter.

Again, for those missing the obvious, see my previous post and it's stated very plainly in game, in text, by Jess, she does not want to accept what is and refuses to deal with the situation.
Her head is intentionally in the sand. Annoying as fuck? Yes....explains her actions...also yes.

True we discussed this topic already after chapter 5 iirc, I (and RNasc may forgive me) think Jessicas IQ is 10 (normal toast bread has an IQ of 25) sum that up to her naive character, and teenage carelessness and you have the recipe for disaster.
She could also have been possesed, which would explain quite a few things.
My hunch is Fionas family but it is just a wild guess atm.

My non-cannon save, which I use to check all scenes that don't trigger in my main playthrough, was also fucked. I loaded the previous version again, saved a few renders ahead and it loaded fine in the new version. Easier than redoing the whole thing.
I used crayon-chewing retards for that analogy but that works two. Or 2 monkeys slinging shit at each other. It doesn't matter how much lore the dev adds, their conflict still makes no fucking sense whatsoever.
The character was completely butchered in this update, imo. I think she's actually beyond redemption for me at this point. It is physically painful to watch her be self aware for a few seconds with the whole Kaija and parents betrayal of the MC only to devolve back into a mentally challenged child by the end of the update. Brutally disappointing to watch.

Sadly this only further confirms to me that as much as I like this game and want to know where it goes, it absolutely has the most unlikable and unbeareable characters I've seen in an AVN. Goddamn it

In the office, second conversation with Helen (after the walk with Elea) you need [HelnProf >=7] in order to get an extra scene and the achievement.
