Just an update - finally managed to progress with step dad (an examination of code using qgen and a small change of a stat using qsp save editor). I think I was nearly there as the value needed to be above 450 and I was on 420. Also managed to get the moonshine quest to trigger, went to the Sportico wearing the ugly dress, got the usual response (talk, give bottle of vodka), left the shop, went straight back in, talked and finally option to drink. Also beware of a problem in the swim training quest, due to the very poor English translation I thought I was selecting the naughty option and instead locked myself out of the quest. So do not select 3rd option. Thankfully the autosave was not to old 
when i try to unpack is say,file is damaged.

Does anyone know the command or the save editor option that would reset Julia's dads line thing? I think I chose a wrong option some time ages ago and wonder if its possible to get that bit back!

Also, I can't ever get the chat roulette event to happen. From the files it looks like its the event in chat_roulette and the files are there it just never procs and I don't know why or how to force it, any help?

Part 1 from mega was a damaged file for me as well, tried 2 downloads, both had same problem
Is it normal that the startscreen is still not english?
Startscreen is still russian,but after i start the game 2 screens later game become english.
So everything worked or should be startscreen english too?
No, that is normal. That is why I wrote "Be aware that the starting screen will usually be Russian. 1st entry will start a new game, 2nd will load a game." in troubleshooting. There was a translation for the start menu too, if you go back some pages. But you need only the first 2 options: new game and load game.

Yeah I mean Sam, sorry. The one with Tamara's dad happened pretty quick but Sam just never ever does, to my knowledge. I've been to the spots I think it said 12-16 hours in both of the metro areas and couldn't encounter him there "after getting his address" in case I'd missed it or something. Just a bit annoying haha, when I play these (same with SOB) I try to get as many options discovered as I can on like one main save file. I looked in the files and there's a bunch of stuff I've still never seen like random bus events (#11/12) and other little bits that don't trigger and I couldn't figure out why. Still really like these kind of games though!
Nope, just travel between city and leninsky with metro on weekdays. That#s how I met him.
Yep, I also still wonder how to trigger those bus scenes. If you find out how, please tell me.

I kept thinking it might relate to what clothes you're wearing or something but I couldn't find a pattern. For all I know it's not actually been coded into the game yet, or the parameters for random events is only like "1,10" and excludes the last two.

Oh I actually got #11 to work. I'm not 100% on how to get it all I know is I kept repeating getting on the bus at 18:00, with horny status active and was wearing underwear and the business looking outfit. I tried it in other stuff and couldn't get it to work but it could have just been RNG the whole time making it look like I was working it out lol.
