Listen up people; so I've said these are test, and now I need your help. As you can see, I'm trying to capture a scene right before the person gets struck. Thing is, I'm not sure which one looks better. Obviously I'm not using this image, but the angles. So which one does a better job?

PS, if you don't want to say it out loud, you can just send me a PM as i REALLY need to hear what people think. And the lighting is also different from my traditional warm setting. That was too dark for this scene, so I needed to change it.

Here is my take... it is a combination of DMD, Lewd Island and Vis Major. All the models are very similar so I thought I would combine them all.

Playing with what my parents said I should never play with; fire . I'm also trying to get a cinematic feel/look for combat scenes, as you can probably tell from my previous post. As always, feedback is welcomed, both good and bad.

Something about angle 2 screams to me "OH FUCK, I DON'T WANNA DIE!" where something in her expression in angle 1 just kinda leaves me feeling a bit cold... also, the right hand Laser sword (to avoid using that name invented by Spi*lberg) is barely visible, leaving you wondering "Hmm, she can dual wield these things?" Angle 2 leaves NO doubt on that fact. Lighting looks good to me, actually. The light from the weapons cause a nice highlight.

I generally use the Photoshop clone stamp tool to fix stuff like that, as it's faster than baking a render. But if it's an animation sequence, yeah editing a bunch of frames to correct the error can be a bit of a pain.

What sucks is when the hair is 'properly scaled' for one pose, but then those squigglies show up after you change the head/body pose. You think you are golden since the first one was OK, but then you look at the completed render and 'DOH!".

40 of them, are you using that new render que product? I’m curious to see how it works. And yeah, I’ve gotten that hair shit before as well. Live and learn friend
