That's actually answered in the FAQ in first post but to recap follow the installation instructions from this thread [Son of a bitch!] Translation Project 0.27 v0.6.4 to download and extract the translated QSP file and you should be good to go. Just keep in mind you'll need to delete or move the the original QSP file afterwards.

I searched around and can't seem to find anyone mention it but you get 5 max saves since it's changed to a .exe? Without manually copy-pasting the saves to a new folder to migrate later, that is. Sucks cuz I save quite often and I like replaying certain scenarios different.
seriously guys @ moderators, where did the sub forums go? i thought with the domain change it's temporary but still no, a lot of large games had their own sub forums for walkthroughs, mods, fan made stuff like translations and so forth in specific game sub forum and they are all gone, why? who's idea was it to put all that between a "general discussion" and "general mods" forum it's not a website made for "one specific game"...

Only "popular games" had their own subforums and since those were replaced by "featured games", the subforums are gone as well. I don't think it was ever intended to be temporary.
Now, in case of games like this one, that caused quite a bit of problems and I can't say I agree with the decision. But I really doubt admins will see your post, so you might want to ask that in Site feedback subforums - if you actually want a reply that is.

Any way of getting the English version? I am hitting roadblocks whenever I try and update the game or install the English patches.

Have you tried the [Son of a bitch!] Translation Project 0.27 v0.6.4 ? If so, what exactly has been giving you problems?

I try and download the latest version, then install the updates so it is up to date. Then I have to install the various pieces one by one in the above-mentioned link above, but something messes up resulting in only partial translations, or some other problem.

2. Extract etc.
3. Yes, it is 10Gb or more...
4. Go to the community translation forum at https://f95zone.to/threads/son-of-a-bitch-translation-project-0-27-v0-6-4.9328/
5. Download the translation files
6. Read the installation instruction.
7. Read the installation instructions again. If you don't understand, read them again...
8. Extract the files, making sure you have deleted the Russian qsp file.
9. It works.
10. Why you think it doesn't: post the error message in the correct forum (being: not here).
Two most common errors:
1. the game is in Russian. Did you actually remove the Russian qsp?
2. You cannot start the game and get a weird Russian error: you have still got two (2) game files in the folder. Reread the instructions.

guys im having a window pop-up while im playing. im inside the house and can't acces anything because of it. its this russian text: Не удалось получить доступ к объекту окна . after clicking "ok", it vanish.
Edit: somehow i managed to stop getting the window pop-up.
