I am going to be pedantic about one more thing (sorry), because of your answer:
The word "nes" means headland or peninsula, and is only spelled "næs" in modern Danish. Therefore, I used the (original and correct) form of Herjólfsnes in my post above. (The Danes did not found the place, had nothing to do with the place while it was a settlement and had minimal presence in Greenland until the 18th century).

The above being said, this is your game. No need to stifle your creativity for historical overaccuracy. It is not really my intention to be overly pedantic. "In the ballpark" is usually enough to avoid complete face-palm moments.
There are not many viking-themed VNs (I actually cannot think of any), and I think it isn't just because of few resources or assets. This really is daunting, not least because of linguistic barriers. I'm mostly just happy something like this is being made!
I do look forward to seeing what you do with this. Your characters and overall style are lively and interesting and the story has a lot of promise. But, knowing what I know about the attempts of my ancestors to expand to the New World, I sort of wonder if there will not be many different bad/bittersweet endings here, with varying degrees of awfulness.
