if you think that you're doing this game any good by writing such a shitty "report", think twice. Not only the game has a "report a bug" button which does all the work for you
no, i think that autodetection and autoreporting of many bugs (wherever possible, but definitely blocker bugs) should have been done from the very beginning; THAT's what could be called "does all the work for the user" (and much more importantly, does it for the author)

Guess what - you have three options: either you keep complaining here like a 13 year old who's entitled to the whole world cause his mom said so, or you raise your fingers to write an actual report in order to make a game better and improve your own fapping experience or, in case you have a background in programming, you may enlighten the dev with your wisdom and help him to create just such a tool, thus massively helping not only you and the dev and the game, but thousands of players of all the future version. Because those reports aren't for show: a quick browsing of the report page shows that yesterday there were two more listed bugs than there are now. And here's the icing on a cake - if you choose option 3, the dev team may even share some of their moneys with you, since they are collecting quite a hefty amount each month, which gets slowly bigger with time. So what's it gonna be?

Wow, lots to catch up on! Thanks for all the discussion, guys. I'll just jump in and reply quickly to a few things, but if there's anything specific you want me to address just mention me here and I'll try to give you a direct answer.

Firstly...

Yes, but it's extremly tedious work. I gave up when I realized even kid/teenager images where stitched together. I would wait for an official release.

I you don't want to wait, you can open up the source code and get some images out from there (Notepadd++ and find all "/wp-content/uploads/"). But there are a lot of images that aren't in clear text and has to changed to download.
While I admire the industry of anybody considering doing this, I want to let you guys know that the image pack download is targeted for release on Wed 14th.

Secondly, bug reports here are likely to get noticed, but if you post them using the BUG REPORT function in the game (Debug > Create Bug Report) then they automatically appear in Tommygun's issues list. He exhibits genuine psychological distress when issues persist and so any bugs you submit using this method are certain to at least be attacked.

There is a difference between noting that something is a "bug" (which I had already demonstrated was a misunderstanding) and a design flaw. A -4 modifier to a die roll complete negates all other considerations, since the other modifications are going to, by necessity, add up to +4 in the impossible case of the character having a +2 in every skill and attribute. I simply don't believe that the designer intended that the success or failure of those checks be determined almost solely by a single factor, else he'd have simplified it and left out all of the other factors entirely.
The -4 penalty to an unskilled roll is intended to reflect the fact that hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. In a two-man infantry buddy team, the guy with talent (Coordination +1 or +2) hits his targets 10-20% more often than his Joe Average partner – but either one of them is much more deadly and efficient with a rifle than an Olympian (Coordination +3) who's never fired one before.

That said, on this roll the results don't seem right. I'm not sure whether every adult should pick up a level in the Persuasion skill, or if Persuasion skill rolls should be contests between the characters so that negotiations between untrained people come down to a contest of personalities (i.e. a mix of psych profile and primary & secondary attributes). I'll give this some thought, any input is welcome (as always).

There are way more than three outfits, it's kind of a shame that you can't try every outfit/body combination postgame (or in a separate widget) though.

I wonder if Crushstation has plans to licence that system, I'm sure it could find a niche if it was a bit more complete. On the other hand, endless delays.
This is a planned feature, coming soon. :) In theory it's super easy, barely an inconvenience: we just make a new dressup room with every clothing item available in it.

Another that really bugs me is this stupid intoxication level. One lousy Tennant's lager and she is pissed! My girl had been through Oxbridge and had been to so many parties and she is going to get drunk on a Tennant's lager. I dont think so. Please get back to reality.
Yeah, this is a good point, thank you. We have plans to allow agents to acquire a perk or skill during the Lifepath that adjust her alcohol thresholds – but, following your comment, we're going to increase the alcohol thresholds as an interim solution.

Regarding why it's Twine and not anything else: I think that the dev himself will show up in this thread and explain things as he has a habit of doing, but I suspect that the first very basic versions of the game, back in 2018, were made in Twine for the sake of Twine's relative simplicity for those uninitiated to programming of any sort. And then the game just suddenly found some success and the dev just rolled with it. I strongly suspect that you're dealing with a very novice programmer of a dev here with little support in this regard. Also note that migrating this whole game to some sort of other engine will probably take boatloads of time, which won't really bring the dev closer to Bangkok everyone is so thirsty about, so be careful what you wish.
This is 100% accurate. Fortunately, we're using the Sugarcube story format, which is and also integrates fully with JavaScript, so there are no plans to migrate to a new engine.

I love the changes being made/added. But, sometimes I have to use my limited imagination(ha), especially when the MC has to stop dancing "because she don't want to start sweating". I'd actually like to read about her BO and sweat, when a situation like that calls for it. I know, I'm a freak. But, a super fine woman with sweat dripping off of her is a huge turn on.
Hey I'll bear that in mind in Bangkok. It gets pretty hot there y'know...

Twine is easy to learn but it was never intent do store and use so many variables at some point you will reach a wall.
My understanding is that there's no hard limit of variables, but we're currently working on streamlining the existing variables to improve performance.

Fixed it for you, I would rather tell that game author dose not have idea for Bangkok. And after all that wait, whatever he/she do will be a disappointment. This is a twine game, not a C++, phyton or even java so any groundwork can be revised with a bit of effort. Still cool idea for a game.

I think you get what I am talking about. Let's take the case (that maybe occurs in every game, because I think it has occurred in all of my playthroughs) of the MC trying to convince the prof to change a grade. It's a difficult case to make, so rightly requires a "10" after modification.

In all three cases below, the MC is assumed to have a +1 from all her attributes, and another +1 from dressing up.

With a persuasion skill of 2, the MC has a +2 (skill) and +2 (all other factors) for a +4 and thus a 50% chance of success (6 or higher on 1D10).

With a persuasion skill of 1, the MC has a +1 (skill) and +2 (all other factors) for a +3 and thus a 40% chance of success (7 or higher on 1D10).

With a persuasion skill of 0, the MC has a -4 (skill) and +2 (all other factors) for a -2 and thus a 10% chance of success (10 on 1D10 always succeeds).

This means that any player trying to maximize their chances will always seek the path that gives them the +1 in the most skills, even though that's not how we really live our lives. Going from 0 to 1 in any skill at all, regardless of profession, is overwhelmingly more important than going from 1 to 2 in any skill related to a profession.

This problem would not arise if skills just added their level to the die roll and a skill level zero was just one that added nothing. The problem with "dueling skills," while I like the idea a lot, is that you'd have to establish skills for the target all the time. I'm content with the RNG telling me that the prof was skilled enough to detect the MC's line of bullshit; it doesn't matter to the story whether the MC failed because the prof had a good bullshit detector, or was gay and thus not swayed by the sexy dress, or was just tired of coeds trying to weasel a better grade. If you want to randomize the reason for failure in the outcome report for "flavor" purposes, that would work and would be a lot easier than establishing skill levels for every RNG target.

On that note, I made a character that was essentially tailor made to be the class president (high intelligence, extroversion, attractiveness, alpha female, upper middle class) and still got only a 40% chance of success.

Part of the problem, I think, is that the attribute modifier is, as far as I understand it, limited to -1/0/+1. This makes your attributes not very important, and worse, it means if one of them, say attractiveness for example, is most important, it drags your overall roll down, because the best you can hope for with that stat is +1.

And also I hope we have some system for reputation when we get to Bangkok. Or maybe even starting from the lifepath. Like for example, people could catch on on the agent exhibitionist tendencies, or she could get "famous" for being a dominatrix in Bangkok, and people should react to it.
I'm curious to see what happens when her pics get leaked, during the side quest at the hotel with that "weapons dealer". It might be a long shot, but seems like somebody would recognize the MC "If she did cyber sex" during college. Or, during one of her wild nights out. Everyone has a cell phone these days.

During the side quest at the hotel with the weapons dealer it isn't that her pics get leaked, but that she can bug the phone so her coworkers can see everything on it and then the first thing her coworkers see are lewd nude photos of her. These are people she has to work with and who know her true identity. At the very least that will likely affect her career and reputation in the intelligence community.
