Being a hirsute male, you did a great job with this. I always laugh at hairy guys in movies/TV who have no hair on their upper arms or biceps. Why shave that? Why leave hair on the lower arm? Find it weird.

Breastcontrol is a fine tool for that. There are several other Morphkits out there, that can help too. You will discover them in time along your DAZ journey.
Most Hair assets have inbuild morphs. Just select the Hair on your figure via scene selection panel and you will find morph groups often called, Adjustment, Movement, Style etc. Play with those till you got the effect you want. Sometimes hair props have also a good bone structure for ponytails and bangs. In these cases, you can also rotate the parts as needed.
Points Of Contact means any point in space where one object touches another object or itself. When you look at your renders, you will see, that a lot of your figures are slightly floating above the ground, which is indicated by their shadows. Make sure that they have solid contact, intersect them very slightly even, to create the illusion of indentation and weight. You will learn several methods later, to enhance all those effects but don't worry for now.

Axis Value 0 doesn't necessarily mean ground-level. You can place the figure via crtl+d on approx ground-level, but you have to make sure that everything else is also aligned.

Simple. I just dragged your png file into KRITA and filled a background layer with white. Also, I never use true white or black on my devices as system-background.
