No one updates the walkthrough after 0.3.2 anymore? I have a little troubled to finish all the new quest I need

Wait, the developer want to sue the modder because he tried to improved the game? Wow, what a dick move right there. It's a porn game, and even games from big company have a lot of mods made from fans for fun too

Imagine putting drm and trying to sue modders over an awful game that is mostly filler and bugs and that gets less updates than I get gf irl. The dev clearly has a small pp

Yes he has, there has been zero comment on this in the mod thread from Lain himself and the last several comments over the last month have been 'where is the update' or 'when is this getting updated' with no answer, he just outright disappeared from it without even telling us whether he was continuing or canceling it. That's as out of contact as it gets. Yes, this DRM is really a shot in the dev's foot. He thinks he can stop us, but all he's doing is hurting his pocketbook by limiting the exposure the game gets.

He commented on this threat and described in detail what happened and why he could no longer mod this game.

You have no idea, lol. He said he won't be able to continue modding and the dev lost all the potential of his game when he let patreon to fuck with it, he took it like a good little dog. Most of the developers would quit patreon after being forced to change the looks of the characters so drasticly, which not only renders the game complete trash but also requires YOU working extra to fuck your own game. If game creators weren't such a bunch of pussies and worked together to find a solution to this, either Patreon would get in line or it'ld lose money from games that it "doesn't approve". They could very well create a +18 section for adult games if they're worried about the reputation.

I'm not saying Lain went completely dark, I was saying he was out of contact in the actual mod thread. I guess I'll break the news over there myself for those that don't know. Thank you for the info, I was completely unaware because I was using the mod thread exclusively when looking for mod info.

To be fair, it was either drop the incest and make the characters older looking or shut down production of the game completely. We already know where the dev's loyalties lie as far as the game thanks to his stance on modding, in his profits, so it was obvious he wasn't going to shut down production if he could salvage it. If he really cared, he could move funding to Subscribestar, which to my knowledge allows the content Patreon does not.

Wow...just wow, those guys wasting their own patreons money to this? Truly don't have any backbones and petty as fuck to even do this, how can peoples still gave out their money to those toxic developers are beyond me

Hmmm... the game isn't worth the makers salt. Looking at the "Copyright Claim" he sent a modder both the maker and the lawyer do not wish to understand the law. According to the OWNERSHIP PROTECTION LAWS any mod of a game is allowed due to the game developer not being the OWNER OF THE CURRENT COPY OF THE GAME running down to "Is the game running of of a server the creator owns that you are changing data on through means not intended by the creator?" "No." "Then no infringement." I could start quoting the exact rulings but like the maker, and his layer, its not worth the time money nor salt consumed in its production.

Not to mention copyright law, which is what the suit was citing. Under current copyright law, mods do not count as copyright infringement because they are separate from the program being modded. Also, Boner Games gave up any rightful claim to the incest content when they dropped it from the game in the first place. It is no longer a part of the product and therefore is no longer protected by copyright laws as such.
