I just started playing this a few hours ago and have o say I am loving the renders, the story, the plot, the direction I can CHOOSE to go in, the consequences and the rewards but PLEASE do something about the "animation" if you want to call it that!
It is simply 2 renders back to back switching between one another, no fluidity and it's really very comical to see a woman levitating off the floor in one scene when she should have easily had her feet on the floor.
That is my only complaint, I have seen incredible animation on a lot of 2D and 3D games, I hope the same can be found here!

I just got to a point where the librarian plugs another game called Love Of Magic!
Incidentally, that's one of my favorite games, and the developer is really hands-on with not only its creation but its fans as well, listens to the issues, fixes them in the next patch, and has created an amazing world....a lot like this one in fact.
THIS game btw was plugged along with a dozen others in Love Of Magic, which is the reason I am playing and loving it now!

I can see why. The phrasing and vocabulary choice conjure up an image that is in a sense sad, but also hilariously comedic. Some things really make too much culture-internal sense to be translatable.
