Pretty much everything I tried to do ended up with her beaten to death by the Inn owner for not doing well enough at the jobs (pretty much impossible to do without getting fucked to death by the patrons), fucked to death by bandits, sold into slavery at random intervals, fucked to death by said slavers because all escape routes are blocked your wrists are bound and there's a time limit.

I even tried slowly grinding up coins via the prostitution route and the one time I managed to without dying from slow piled up injuries I was ambushed and murdered on the way to the port. I have no idea how the quest system works because I keep getting ambushed and murdered on my way to the first quest (get the plant) via random encounters.

Making money in a few easy steps w/o major chance of harm:

1) Head out of the city to the right and keep going right for a short distance until you reach a field of round looking trees that says “rain forest” when you try to enter. Enter!

2) Harvest all tomatoes, berries, apples, dragon weed on the map. Interact with them to harvest. The higher your wis, the higher the chances of them appearing.

3) Harvest, exit, re-enter, repeat as necessary. Avoid boars while inside.

4) Head back to the city, sell your goods. Make sure to convert your points into COINS or your efforts will be wasted and your cash will disappear.

5) Rinse, repeat. Buy glasses from the marketplace to greatly boost your WIS if you want better efficiency.

You may sleep and eat in the RAIN FOREST as necessary; it’s pretty safe in there. Do so near an exit as a precaution.

People becoming hostile is based on weakness stat, not sexy stat. Having full piercing increases your weakness by a lot because it's a symbol of being subservient to the deep-ones, meaning that you are easy prey for everyone.

Avoid the face & nose piercings in general and wear clothing to keep your weakness down, at least until you can deal with people turning hostile.

I see some references to a command console or something. Any idea how I use it?

Press 'F10'. You cannot copy/paste in the console fyi.

Then might I recommend a guide written by yours truly? From what I read, I'm guessing that you are going too fast in the game and playing it like a generic RPG. Lona is NOT a hero. DO NOT fight, run. Lona is a pushover at the start of the game and only becomes stronger once you start leveling. The best solution to random encounters is to run to the map border and exiting. Sleep when your stamina is low to continue being able to run.

You can see how weak Lona is by the fact that 2-3 rats can easily kill you in the tutorial.

BTW, the prostitute path is by far the weakest path; especially if you take the 'jucing' trait, more in the tips section of the guide.

Edit: here's a link to a save file in new game+ where Lona is leveled and has equipment, money, and food in the bank so you can learn more about the game (plus, she's a cute Moot). There should be no issues with it being an outdated save.

Grab a sword a shield and you'll be fine. Even with full stacks, being armed will dissuade anyone from attacking you on a whim.

Not sure what you meant, the nose and face piercings are the only ones that lower both the Sexy and Weak stat.

*sigh* I'll tell you, sure. but, dev, please, put a good way to make money by actually playing the game please. You can buy fish for 100 tp in the dock and sell smoked meat for 259 with just the glasses. btw, the repel herb in pirate's den are still 300tp.



hah! not really, no, I have my 10h play-throughs, too. the only thing I haven't done yet is getting babies. because fuck screwing around for 80 days. waay too long, don't have the patience to do basically nothing in a game.

The exploit is now fixed. However, the fact that the ingredients for a recipe cost more than the finished products rubs me the wrong way.

Remember the comment I made about the warehouse on an encounter, I got it again. Turns out the only thing you can do is 'steal' from the warehouse. Seems like it only acts like a house. However, getting caught stealing causes guards to spawn, leading to them fighting the bandits for you.

What do you find in warehouses? As far as this shows, the same things in houses. Meaning that you need a high enough scoutcraft to 'steal' from them or high enough wisdom to 'Deceive' (scam) them, believe you need 20 in either but don't quote me. You get money from it but failure gives -2 morality (temporarily -200 morality so guards become hostile) and spawns guards.

b. have four rats jumping on me without any chance of actually fighting back
people keep mentioning a pitchfork but its impossible to get considering i get gangbanged by 3 rats the second i move one tile further then the damn tutorial door
