Old HS much better. If we set shaders and other graphic improve like lighting map and etc. On finish we got same product but allready optimisated and with content(from mod of course).

Yes, some of them are just .png of Character or background files, but that is how much files compare to the mods and actual game?

Sure you can not mod it, but it is not like the vanilla game perform any better anyway.
It is a Unity game, and not to bash on the engine or anything. but there is a reason not many games with this scale still use Unity, since the performance ends up going to shit with the things they try to pull.
