There is game called "Divinity: Original sin" where you also play for two characters. It's RPG game, and this heroes are in the same party, but it's not important. As I understand the intentions of devs, they planned this two protagonist's for multiplayer, where one player choose one answer and another can argue, accept or be indifferent. The funny thing is that if you play alone, you basically play for them both and it looks like you talking with yourself, lol. More then that, if you companion choose other answers it could ruin some interesting side-quests or dialogue lines. Of course, the devs took this experiense and added in the next game 6 unique heroes, for one of which you can play. I'm personally prefer play such games alone without multiplayer, to feel the atmosphere, if you want, and this second protagonist could be interesting companion or lover, but unfortunately you was forced to play for him as well.

Sorry for this little off-top, it's just bright example of a game in which I also seen two protagonists. As BloodyMares mentioned it maybe really good if you have someone to play this game, and I think it's cool, but despite that, I think most players play this game alone. Personally, I don't like when in such games devs just throwing at us girls which you must date or interact, I prefer more freedom gameplay, where you can choose, who will be your main interest. In this game it's kinda forced at the beginning, but as for ver. 0.3 hopefully we can separate Ian and Lena, and I'm glad about it. In my playthrough I would prefer they never meet again and just forget about existence of each other and have they own fun. For me Cindy was interesting at first, and i wanted to look for her, not for Lena, but in last update she kinda show herself in such unpleasant angle, that now I'm feel like Ian will stay alone to the end of the game, lol. But at least I will have my fun with Lena, so far it's looks promising.

I talked much about 2 protagonist but it isn't really thing that bother me, to be honest. I really like this game, and it's more closer to reality, than most of the games in this site. But the thing I don't like so far, it's that all this friends of protagonist's meet each other. Seriously, how small is this city? :D At first it was kinda oookey, but after Axel arc, this feeling of reality start begin fading away, and I guess this not end yet. I more prefer when we know about few main characters, they have own story arc, they passing through events of their life and at some point they meet, and usually it's happening in the middle or end of the story. At least it was that way in books i've read. And they could not even interact directly with MC, but simply leave their trace that would affect the main characters. Maybe it's just my thing and nobody is bothered by this, I just used to such plots, where exist separates lines of story and in this game all these meetings look far-fetched to me.

I was playing the game and I noticed that on one-day Lena went to work on the coffee shop, the wife of the owner was saying something like "I don't like it" when Lena arrives and since then when she goes to work there, she says that "her job was uneventful".
Did I make a choice that stopped whatever arc was going to happen with the coffee shop owner?

It's a good way to play it with someone else, I agree, but it should be someone you're comfortable to play with, considering what type of game this is. .

Maybe you didn't confide in her Lena's feelings. There is an event where Lena can tell her what's happening in her life and she'll give advice.

No, I don't think it's the same day. It's just that during the scene Lena reacts differently to that based on her previous behavior with Ed: She either thinks Molly is mad at him for leaving excited comments on Lena's Peoplegram (if you told him the truth) or believes that Molly suspects that something's happening between him and Lena (if Lena flirted with him). Also, she thinks about whether to call Axel or not.

I had confided on her. And yeah, that's the scene I'm talking about. Does it aways happen?

Yes, it always happens. If you neither told the truth about the modeling nor flirted with Ed, then Lena simply acts clueless about their argument and hopes that everything is okay between them.

Any ideas what Ed and Molly 'don't like' in this conversation Lena overhears?
Obviously it hasn't anything to do with Lenas antics, that would either be noting to worry about or make Molly a lot more angry.
Lena is constantly remarking how slow business is, so she might be out of (another) job. On the other hand, Mollys health could be getting worse, meaning she has to stay home. So Ed would work all alone with Lena in the cafe (and, again, business is slow)

I've been thinking. Would anyone be interested in supporting the guide? I know that I volunteered to do it like a hobby but I admit that it'd be nice to turn this hobby into a small gig, at least temporarily.
I realize that most people here want the free stuff, but just in case there's someone who doesn't mind the idea, what would you recommend? Patreon seems like the obvious choice but some recommend buymeacoffee or things like that instead. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I think it's about Molly's health. Maybe they don't like the prospect of closing the coffee shop, having Lena jobless in case they needed the money for medication. Or maybe they just don't like breaking the news to Lena.

first thing that crossed my mind is that the income for caffe is very low and that they will have to let Lena go.

Buymecoffee is ok, but Patreon is kinda too much(?) for a guide of just one game. Maybe if you do more than ORS, yeah why not.

MINERVA1.jpg

Character design (Minerva)

In GGGB Ashley had some shenanigans at her workplace, mainly with Rosa (aka Landwhale) that served as some kind of petty villain. That character was an afterthought and her role was mainly to antagonize and be bothersome to the player, but it made me want to have a better defined enemy that would play into the story.

Minerva is just that: being Ian's boss at the magazine, she seems to really dislike him and makes things hard for him at every step, while she acts completely different towards Holly, making it clear she has something against Ian... He has the choice to stand up to Minerva in several ways or to suck up to her, and this will influence not only Ian's job, but his path in becoming a professional writer...

In ORS most of the cast are young adults and I wanted to add a more mature woman. It was tricky coming up with Minerva's design and I'm still a bit on the fence about it. I like her facial features, but undecided about her body type. What do you think about her, as a character and design-wise? Would you like to see a re-design?

I don't like her, honestly. Maybe Molly can fill that mature woman role.

lmao Wade is a lazy slob while stan is walking stereotype of an incel/neckbeard. Jeremy and axel are the only OK guys in this game. Jeremy feels like a real bro, someone whom will always got your back in a fight. So he is womanizer, but who does not have womanizer bros? I have a real life bro just like him and he went through the 7 hells for me in multiple crises I faced, while friends like wade and stan are absolute cucks when it comes to lending real effort to help you out.
He's not a bro at all... he broke the goddamn "bro code" this update.. or was it last ?

Now to be fair I went in HATING the dude, mainly because he is a black guy, and I know how hard Evakiss pushes interacial couples in her games based on GGGB, or at least black guys (fucking Tyrone)....After 0.1 I was like "DAYUMM !! Jeremy is a bro, I like him, my favorite of Ian's friends !!"

I didnt play the game till v0.3Full, and now I am back to hating him... if you chose to "flirt with Allison", the dude fucking encourages Ian !! saying "Allison needs to get laid, she's been hounding me too, but YOU go for it bro"... yet if you pick that option, the asshole tries to "compete" with Ian to fuck Allison first.... WTF ??

Yes I know "apologists" are gonna say Ian can win if you just follow Allison to the bar for drinks... WHY ?? It would make sense for Ian to do Perry a solid, and try to get him to break the ice with Cherry, and THEN leave to find Allison... but if you do that "man-god" Jeremy wins the night, and takes Allison for himself, and if Ian doesnt change to Cherry "pronto" he goes home a loser.

Again if he wanted Allison first, and said as much, I would have made Ian back-off and focus on Holly/Lena, or even Cherry for that night... what pisses me off is he basically did a "backstab". He was all like "go get her bro... but secretly I am gonna do everything in my BBC power to get her first, aint I cool ?".

Also the plot development with Cindy was crap to me... she seems like she is tired of the "shallow" relationship she has with Wade (arguably the most handsome of Ian and his friends, not counting Jeremy), and wanted a deeper connection, she goes the bar with Ian... and immediately acts like a bitch in heat for Axel... and LORD HAVE MERCY if you make Ian grow a backbone and tell him off, cause it will cost you IanXCindy points...

Also 4 of the 5 hottest girls in the game think Jeremy is Adonis or some shit...and that annoys me too...

1. Ivy - already wet for him... playing hard to get, she finds out he is a scummy cheater, and just says "i'll make it harder for him, but I still want to bounce my perfectly toned ass on his BBC".... arggghhh

2. Loise - the sexy goth girl just HAD to be fucking Jeremy of all people, of course it had to be him... and boy is she madly in "wuvs" with him... poor stupid girl...

3. Allison - its obvious that unless Ian acts aggressively infatuated with her, she'd be riding the BBC every chance she got... Ian is her silver medal, but she was really into Jeremy

4. Lena - this one is optional, but she has the chance of drooling over BBC during the peerking incident... luckily this one I can block, and made her focus on the sexier Lousie rather than on the garbage cliche.

The 5th girl on the hottest list is Cindy, but the only reason she isnt drooling over Jeremy is probably cause they havent been in the same screen yet... given how moist she got over Axel, I'm betting she'd do the same over Jeremy.

Judging by this strong reaction, Jeremy is definitely a fantastic character. If somebody is into jealousy or cuckolding stuff, he is a great fetish provider; if somebody isn't into that, he is a great antagonist.

Right now you can snatch Allison from him (even if you don't go to the bar for drinks right away), sucessfuly flirt with Ivy in front of him, plant the seed of doubt in Louise and downright dislike him as Lena. I'm sure you will be able to sabotage him to the point he ends up alone.

I, on the other hand, will make sure to befriend him and try to build a harem for him.
