The changes to Melanie's story line are all new and in 0.30




I see multiple people claiming "saves work" and yeah they MIGHT work, I loaded mine at first and it didn't instantly crash, but your missing like 80% of this update if you load your saves, Melanie's whole beginning has changed.

Now that I've slept on it, I'm also sad about the lack of content too. For the record I'm mainly sad about the change to Melanie's story, but other than that there is so little new stuff to see the scene with Melanie and Tiffany was hot as fuck so credit where it is due but again that's just one scene.

Now the dev did mention some behind the scenes coding changes (I didn't notice too much TBH). The flow kinda got worse to me because you have nothing to do in the mornings until you unlock the twins house, Melanie mainly meets you at noon. But like 4 events happen at noon so you cant work on multiple girls in the same day which kinda sucks and made me keep going back home to sleep and skip time until noon again. So gameflow got a little worse as well.

Well fuck....one of my favourite games has been gutted and is now a shell of what it once was.

Lucy's story has been completely removed, she now lives with you and has basically no content. Sebastien perving on her in the bathroom is juvenile and degrades him as a character. He's supposed to be a cunning intelligent manipulator, not a horny teenager.

Melanie changed to an interesting corruption story to a boring cheating story. Fuck knows where the Tiffany story is going to go.

Worst of all, the twins story has been butchered. Key scenes have been cut or changed.

The most frustrating thing is the sandbox. For the longest time everything happens at noon, so there is a lot of clicking to cycle to the next day just to get a very small story progression. It's horrible, it destroys the flow of the game.

This was one of the most fascinating and interesting games to play, now it feels like a disjointed mess. I'm hoping Enyo can salvage this.

So, played the latest version yesterday. Some general thoughts.

- The new Melanie is interesting. She is significantly more perverted now, which I think is fine since she seemed, even in the previous versions, to be fairly sexually open as a younger girl. So to me it makes sense that she, as an adult, is still perverted but had to "grow up" due to kids and marriage. Maybe Seb will turn her into a hotwife or something.


- The twins seem to be the same, Seb is corrupting them and they both sort of like him. I actually think Kate (the one who can walk) progresses too quick. They almost had sex in the tub in this update.

- Lucy doesn't have much, but I think Seb acts sort of weird around her. He is unusually playful, where as he is more...serious? With the others. Why did she move in? I can't remember, she literally just shows up and moved herself in for some unknown reason.

- Jane is interesting, it seems that she is going to be corrupted the most of the girls. I don't remember any of the scenes from this update previously, so I assume they are all new.

- Tiffy is still cute and as far as I can tell, her route is basically the same, just with more Melanie stuff. Falling in love with MC and all that.

I have never done multiple playthroughs of this game, since it's reworked all the time and saves never work, but I'm interested to know how the different routes will happen. So far, it's not obvious at all which direction the choices will lead, all of them sort of feel like they will end up at the same destination. Will there be a defined choice "Pick this to do route A, this to be route B" or will we just have to replay a bunch? Hopefully, it's the former. Replaying sandbox games isn't fun.

The one thing I'd work on is the time periods, too much stuff happens at noon. The cafe should be open at morning, you should be able to advance Melanie at evening etc. Work on Jane in the evening or morning, she is there, so why not?

Something else I dislike is the girls now, besides maybe Tiffy, are all too similar from a personality standpoint. All of them, even the sweet and innocent twins, are pretty perverted if not by their actions then by their thoughts. Kate almost sexing MC and rubbing herself on him. Melanie is a perv, Jane is a perv, Lucy is definitely a perv. Even Ashley is having lewd thoughts. Tiffy is the only one that isn't that perverted, yet. Corruption should be a gradual changing of personality/character from fairly innocent to not so innocent, if they start fairly not-so-innocent, then it lessens the effect.

* It's very possible I mixed the twins up, so if I did, just switch what I said about them around.

Thank you for your detailed feedback All girls are pervy inside. But actually I wanted to show that girls (girls! not just empty dolls) have inner desires and Sebastien only helps them to open them up, and not just corrupt them out of nowhere. Maybe I did fuck up something though.
P.S. You know, half of the people say that it's too slow teasing, other half saying that it's too fast now, so I don't really know

how old mel is actually? mel said early that she's in her 30s and later that she's thinking that she's old enuf to be seb's mother. 1st isn't possible unless she got tiff at age 12 (not true) so 2nd sounds righter making her to be in 40s.

I had forgotten how good humor this has.

She is not not serious about this. She just worries too much about her age and faded beauty. Mel's about 35 years old.

Lots of folks, myself included are getting a black screen preventing further game play. A response would be helpful. I have searched the entire forum, and this seems to have happened before. Is there a solution? Are you aware?

The cast and graphics are top notch, shame you can't go over teasing them.

Also not a fan of one action per day, makes things unnecessarily grindy, maybe make the sisters available during the morning, the friend during noon and the secretary evenings(or early morning).

Exactly. I was shocked to see all the good little plots turned into a bunch of lame, overused scenarios. It WAS indeed the best corruption themed game. Now it's just another boring stalling, expectable shit. It's a shame to see the downfall of this once great masterpiece.

No, I don't think so. In my opinion everything was much worse before. But it is, of course, only my biased opinion.

False Hero is no longer a slow burn game. It's now like thousands other game where you get the things right from the start. Story has been drastically changed not to better anything but only because they are not able to progress with the content as promised in the very first update.
-Lucy actress storyline (oh no, that's a very complex storyline, let's make her simply a roommate, MC will get her easily)
-Lois gritty, dark content (detective storyline is much more complex, let's remove her)
-Twins and Jane content also changed (take of manager back story, keep it as simple as it can be)
-Mel changed to corrupt easily(make her easy going from the start)
From a thriller- detective game to a mere simple game like many other; redoing only shows incapability and under achievement. They removed all the challenges that were coming in way of storylines, result, shuch a boring game. Basically no content left
(Just hope Mel/Tiff will get some in the next update)

Yes, you're right. I removed all thriller-detective details, because now I think that it is not the place for them in adult game. It's just my personal opinion.
Also many storylines that you think were removed are still exist in the game, their just waiting for the right moment to appear.

1) Actress' storyline will still exist, but I wanted more MC involvment right from the start. That's why I decided to connect MC with Lucy right away. It also means that actress' stuff would start much sooner.

2) ohohoho, manager is still exist, but I removed all scenes so that I could better introduce him in the game. Not just as a boring villain npc, but a more complex character.

3) What about Jane? What was simplified? Maybe I can fix it.

4) Mel: I have to agree here. But I didn't like the previous story where everything happens too conveniently. Overall, I didn't like too many things. But don't worry, I can guess what you're missing in the new storyline and what will come instead of this in the school, will be much better Just wait.

5) Lois was removed because of exactly the reasons you said. Because it was too complicated. Before I thought that people have a lot of time to read, deepen into the story, to investigate things etc. Now I understand that neither me nor people have so much time to read through the whole detective things. I have to consider the pace of story. First of all I always wanted to create a porn game with a lot of porn, not a detective thriller.

But even here, with Lois, I'm preparing something really great in the future. You'll see.

Reading everyone's comments has made me even more disappointed in this game. I started to replay it yesterday, but stopped because as others have said it's so tedious to have to play through essentially the same scenes/dialogue over and over. Not sure why Enyo removed the controls too, so now we can't even use the "skip" button.

To hear that there is little to no new content is so frustrating, since that was supposed to be the reason why this last update took 7 MONTHS. Enyo was supposedly working on re-coding the game for the first few months, which was supposed to "make the game better" (even though I did not notice any change to gameplay so far). The last few months was supposed to be about finally adding new content. Enyo mentioned on more than one occasion that he agreed the game needs more content, more lewds, and less teasing. He teased the sauna and other scenes with more action, and nothing was actually added?? I'm starting to really think that he is just trolling us all.

About that, the MC character was so enjoyable to play, as others have mentioned, since he was a cunning manipulator. The Melanie storyline was one of the best since it was so different. Her reluctance and slow corruption/manipulation was part of what made this game so unique. Why would he change her to be just another character who gives it up so easily? And now others are saying that the Twins are less innocent too??? That was a big part of their appeal too. Even Tiffany seemingly crushing on MC from the start takes away from that aspect of corrupting her. Why would you change your three or four most popular characters???

Did Enyo misunderstand the feedback we were giving? The character's and storylines were perfect before, and the slow burn helped create anticipation. The only thing people were asking for after multiple re-makes and re-plays was for him to stick to your story, and start adding a bit more lewd content. It didn't mean change the characters to make them more easy...while still providing little to no lewd content This game has been in development for over 2 years! Seriously Enyo Eerie are you just messing with us??

1. Lucy now lives in your house. Everything is recoded, new pictures for every new place in your house at different times of the day.
2. Melanie's story is completely diffreent.

   Now about changes of 3 best characters:

Melanie was always a naughty girl. Because of blackmail she turned into a simple victim/doll without a personality, which is being reluctantly corrupted. Now she has a distinctive character and has the right "to want".

Tiffany always loved Sebastien right from the v 0.01 of the game, lol. She is tsundere.

Twins weren't changed at all, I don't understand what you mean.

All Jane's old dialogues and images were removed or reworked, because they didn't meet the level of quality that I can be satisfied with. Something was temporarily left in the code though.

I was changing and improving the game for quite some time, and now I am finally satisfied with the result. Yeah, I already told this once(maybe even twice XD), but this time I'm 100% sure that everything is ready. And even if I'll realize later that it's not, I'm not going to stop creating new content anymore. I will be working on improvements only in my spare time. It's a promise!

The scene where the manager tries to feel up Ashley looks to be removed. Is that being returned in later updates? I was hoping Sebastien would kill the manager, quietly dispose of the body and take over running the cafe.

I liked that it was thugs and not a random skating accident. It gave the story more insidious undertones. Was it a random mugging or was it gangsters trying to force the girls out of the cafe for some nefarious reasons. It's the unanswered shades of gray that I miss from the story lines. I wanted Sebastien to use his cunning and intellect to save the day, not put band-aids on some bruises after a bike accident.

About the only thing to remain untouched after this 're-vamp' is the Jane story, which is fine. So far it is hard to see anything as an improvement. I'm hoping you prove me wrong and this game returns to being the superior and clever story it once was. I'm hoping to see more thoughtful character development, which is what drew me into this game, and less perving on girls in the bathroom.

Thank you for your feedback. But I have to disagree. Melanie's personality didn't change. The situation she is in has changed. Now she's active and not just a weak-willed victim. She always had that playful personality and from Sebastien's young age she was playing with him.

But I guess we just disagree then, Melanie before was not just an empty doll, she was a closeted slutty woman who stuffed it all down to have a nice family life with a nice husband; but she was lacking that excitement and sexuality from before (NOT a doll). Sebastien was forcing a lot of these "tasks" on her and pushing the boundaries (especially in the beginning) BUT eventually Melanie begins to like the feelings and I'm assuming if you had kept the same story would have eventually become very slutty again and taken an ACTIVE role in her own corruption (and her daughters?). Melanie not wanting to be slutty again, to being (slightly forced) to become slutty again was the draw to me, this is also what made this game NTR (or netori) to be honest; a main part of the draw is that it is against their will (at least in the beginning).
Now that Melanie is willingly participating from the beginning kills part of the thrill (for me), like I said before it just makes it cheating. Again this is just my opinion so if this is the new direction of the game then so be it, I'm just super bummed because I loved Melanie's story line before, and I wouldn't have changed anything. in 0.25 there was like 15 story training parts with Melanie with a great build up to her letting you finger her in the kitchen with her daughter right there! that's hot as fuck! All that writing and story is gone now in 0.30 and there is like 6 Melanie parts and she is somehow sluttier with less pushing from Sebastien, that's way more boring (to me).
I'll finish this off by saying that I am taking the time to write this because I loved this games story, It (was) so damn good! When I played version 0.25 I was floored to find such a great game with corruption and NTR I almost subbed on patreon immediately, and now to see it get changed to something else just makes me sad
BUT like I said before, Its your game Enyo Eerie and I just mainly want to thank you for making it, im gonna stick around and see what happens, best of luck to you buddy.
